Agree with the light wire harness. A tri-axle trailer will have a 5-pin connector instead of 4-pins, the extra pin is to release the brakes when backing up. The rental pick-up truck may only have 4-pins due to its lower towing rating.
Coming from a guy in Tennessee, I can’t believe how many people down there trailer these giant boats to and from the water. Boats that size live at docks here.
I got invited to go Snapper fishing with two old guys that had been fishing together for a long time. They co-owned the boat, a nice 28 foot Grady White. There was a line of boaters waiting to launch when we arrived before dawn. The people launching their boats could've easily made many episodes for these videos. It was full daylight by the time it was our turn. Both men got the boat ready and loaded long before it was our turn. I stayed in the truck to keep us moving along with the line. Old guy #1 backed the boat down while old guy #2 piloted the boat. As soon as it floated I unhooked it from the trailer, #2 signaled #1 and he immediately pulled the trailer out to go park it. Old guy #2 fired up the boat and pulled away from the dock to wait. When old guy #1 showed up, #2 pulled up to the dock and we got it. It was obvious that these two old guys had done this hundreds, if not thousands of times before!

Are flip flops the standard foot wear for boating in America?
More boat than boating experience.
I used to own a Regal 2860 (2005) like that one. There was no way I would of hauled it with that pick-up. Fully loaded, and with full fuel etc - it was heavy !!
Super nice boats. Some say a sport yacht.
If anything is gonna happen its gonna happen out there " Captain Ron " still one of the best movies ever 😎
This is the I what my first boat to be a big one
Long before the advent of camcorders (remember those!) my buddies and I would go to the local county marina for entertainment. I wish video existed of some of the crazy things we saw back then.
DRAIN PLUG!!! 🤣
I always keep mine on a lanyard clipped to the keys! 😉
100 lbs. If boat with a 20 lb. Truck!
Rental truck and large boat....has ROOKIES written all over it!
oh yeah another video love it!
Damn, I wanted to see the little pickup pull the big boat out. Must have went ok?
When they show up with a U-haul and they are too dumb to release a tow strap you know it's going to be a good show.
I grew up in Colorado, no water, but this channel has made me never ever want to buy a boat.
Been driving boats for years. I’ve only ever driven inboards and pontoons on inland lakes. I would never try to launch a boat that size and go out in the ocean without someone with experience taking me out a few times.
Those clowns were lucky that the ramp wasnt very busy. Maybe put a fender or two out. Self the boat boys!
When they dont even know how to operate a ratchet strap u know things cant go but so good
Hard to believe they would have issues.. pulling up on point in a 1/2 ton u-haul with harbor freight straps on the boat. They probably could have done it without the drainplug as it was a very short trip...
What are you using for a camera?
This one made my stomach churn.
When you followed the do not do list by mistake 😂
The Yorkie was about to figure it out
They call em SmartStraps for a reason lol
When the motor don’t run the day is done.
