After watching and rewatching your videos on this model, my GG-B100Y-1A arrived today. I'm delighted with it and I'd like to say a personal thank you to you. Your detailed reviews and tutorials reassured me I was making a good choice. I have a visual disability and the analogue display makes life easier for me, even the negative display is manageable which I can't say for my son's Casioak. I just need to work out how to swap the date format to a UK/ European set up and I'll be content. Thanks again, you've earned a subscriber!👍
Primo tutorial! I also love the fly back function that casios have instead of toggling through all the modes. Very handy function to have. I was a bit sceptical about this watch at first but I'm glad I made the purchase. Great watch even without the tough solar.

Just got the British MOD version of this from Japan but no instructions were Included thank you for this. I find g shocks overly complicated to set up and use most functions I can’t remember any of this stuff but appreciate the setup info. No idea how you can keep all this straight pretty amazed

Noway I didnt know you could clear the timer to all zeros. It's factory reset default is 10 mins. but I hardly use one so if I clear that it'll be a sheener piece of machinery. lol. I usually clear the REC every morning when I adjust the for altimeter. Thanks for keeping me going I have worn this watch for about 3 years!

How long does the battery when full charged? / How long does it take to full charge? 3. Do you use it like a piece of collection or every day use?
Andrea Gargano IMO I believe you would be able to wear it. Its not that heavy neither. Just return the watch if it doesn’t fit. Most watches are returnable. It took me a couple days of sunlight to get it fully charged but depends on the battery life you get with the watch. I believe The battery will last six months without any exposure to light fully charged. Double check on the website though. I say get it. One of my favorite watches next to sinn u2 & rolex deep sea. U wont regret it

I was wondering if you can tell me if there's a resetting or calibration for the step because it's not even close to what I'm walking....it's way over. Please let me know. I have had my GGB100 for just over 2y and just replaced the battery after the watch was gone into recoverer mode and then the low battery indicator came on I didn’t replace my self I paid a little bit more and now have a free battery replacement for the life of the watch. The person who changed it didn’t now how to set the timer I told them no problem I will do it myself after setting to the app on my phone I at reset the hands all I like have the barometer graph on the extended screen which you have to reset it the app with the other screens you want to be shown

It doesn't need solar. Changing battery take minutes. And if you're worried take a spare when you hike.
