I have the same GG-B100 and i love this watch so much.
Due to the low weight it is more comfortable to carry than my GWG's or the heavy GPR-B1000 Rangeman.
Tough Solar is missing otherwise it is perfect.

This is my daily wear beast. I work in engineering and work is usually in hard to reach places in all shapes of weather and terrain elements. This watch has held up, love it! Intended use is for the zombie apocalypse to not get lost.

I love it. Call me old school but I'll take one of these over a smartwatch anyday. The bluetooth app seems very helpful, it always used to take a lot of time setting these things up without it.

My wrist varies between 6.7 to 7 inches depending on temp and time of day. I've always admired the Mudmaster but never thought I could pull one off. It looks big but not ridiculous on your similarity sized wrist. I think I have to try one on. Excellent video, well done.

This watch is a good piece in the range in a way it look and functions. I like it. Since i was looking for a watch with useful for my lifestyle where not to have unwanted functions, strong n best in quality, reasonable price. All in One Best of the class. Ain't regret of owning this.

One of the other reasons you don't want sapphire on a watch like this is that even though it is scratch resistant, sapphire is incredibly hard and will shatter if you hit it wrong. Minieral crystal might crack or chip, but it won't shatter like sapphire would. If this watch had a sapphire crystal then it would completely take away from the functional nature of the watch.

j'ai deux montres , la mudmaster GG-B 100 et la tissot expert titanium ma tissot je travail avec elle a pris des coups le verre est en saphir il n'a jamais cassé le bracelet incassable , l'altimètre et la boussole sont precis par ce que pas relié au téléphone , la casio n'est pas aussi précise il ne faut pas mentir et a cause la connexion Bluetooth le gps des téléphones ne sera jamais aussi précis que le gps garmin 66 sr map moi je déconnecte ma casio sinon elle donne des fausses indication et au travail a cause des solvant et produits chimique elle ne résisterai pas alors que ma tissot a tout , j'aime ma casio juste pour le poids le dissigne ma tissot 190 grammes casio 90 grammes donc promenade dans les bois casio au travail montre fiable et solide tissot

The altimeter readings are usually completely wrong. That's because actually there is no altimeter sensor. The readings of the altimeter depends on the barometric pressure,(which is not correct). So for example,you might stay in the same place and whenever the weather change the altimeter of the watch will show you different readings. You should be very lucky to see the correct altitude in the watch.

A pace count is crucial when using a compass and map.if you ever youse the compass correctly you know the direction of travel but not the distance of travel that's where pace counts comes in.now your trained👌🇺🇸

Lost all confidence in this GG-B100 watch as hour, minute & seconds hands stopped working 1 month after purchase. And it's not the battery, it's a module failure. I've never had a watch fail like this, and I bought this thing for durability and reliability. Glad I wasn't hiking in the woods! Happy with my GST-B100 solar though, I'll keep that one.

Good review. Is it worth the price difference to get a gwg1000. I can get a new ggb100 for around $225, and an almost new gwg1000 for around $420. I love the look of both

I have just had the battery replaced on my gray positive Display vision after 2y and 6 months I have had mine I paid a bit extra and now a get a free battery replacement for the life of the watches I also have the newer GWGB1000 wich disnot required a battery change because of it being solar chargeing but it is Heavier on the wrist Compared to THE BBG100

Buying today from G Shock USA. Reason for buying by brand-name. G Shock my history: I windsurfed from Spain to Morocco wearing one in July 1981, and I wore one cave diving in the Great Barrier Reef in 1986, and rode a loggerhead turtle out of the cave wearing, and I was chased by Bengal Tigers in India, wearing one, and I wore one in the Army in 1988.
Lost mine since then, and EMT school requires a "Good Watch."
Actually I wore a "Casio" on the windsurfing 1981. I got G Shock in about '84.
I am a fellow TH-camr with his own channel. I love G Shock and hope to buy the Mudmaster ehheh

I own the green one. I believe the strap is not carbon, just resin with a pattern. Also the bezel contains a transparant layer resin on top of a carbon fibre sheet, separate from the carbon structure.

I really like the looks and functionality of this watch but with a rotatable compass bezel the compass is basically useless for hiking.

Only drawback to this watch and alot of GShock watches are the Negative Display it is hard to read in Bright Light and low light it is difficult if you need to get the information in bright sunlight or low light conditions.
Nope! This watch display is easy to read in any condition.

The biggest defect is the lack of solar power to charge the internal battery. Also I'm scared when I have to replace the battery because in theory you have to replace the seal but it isn't possible to buy or find. And after 2 or 3 battery replacement it will still 200 meters waterproof and sand/mud proof? With tough solar was the perfect G-Shock ever made why why they didn't installed it ? 😭😭😭😭

Hi, I wouldn't risk it for such scenarios since it is analog. You should look into GWG1000 that has a unique vibration resistant structure, which will protect the watch from damage due to constant vibration.
So how to change date format from MM/DD to DD/MM?
Hello, I am afraid you cannot change that. I have checked the module of the watch, G-Shock app and the watch itself, but nothing shows regarding the date format.

Hi, the battery is replaceable. It should last around two years, but this depends also on level of use such as using more often bluetooth, sensors, backlight etc. When battery starts dying, you will receive a low battery alert. Hope it helps.

Except for when he said the band is resin mixed with carbon fiber. lol It's a resin band i think with a carbon fiber style surface molded into it. It just looks like carbon fiber.

It is great! I use the location indicator feature on hikes or unknown places and is so practical, not to mention this way it saves juice on my phone vs using the phone as your navigator.
