FYI - Boox shipping Go 6 w/ Android 11, NOT Android 12. Not sure why they originally marketed it as Android 12 for launch. They have subsequently removed such details from their site. However, like this content, you can still find remnants of their original Android 12 positioning online, including Reddit. Boox customers who pre-ordered a Go 6 thinking they were getting Android 12 (like the rest of Boox Go line) deserve an explanation -- suggest reaching out to them directly. In addition, depending on where/how purchased, you may have additional consumer protection rights. Personally - I am still a Boox fan (proud NA3C owner). However, they should own up to their mistake and address customers publicly.
@@epaper_eink Well, lots of moving parts with a product launch. Mistakes can happen. How a company addresses a mistake can be even more telling. Let's see what they do. :-) Boox has an opportunity to speak directly to their fan base. I hope they use this opportunity proactively. Brands build trust over long periods of time. Can lose it quite quickly due to mistakes like this. Just ask American brand Wells Fargo.
The only difference is the rename of Poke 6 (poke means pocket) to Go 6 and has a Carta 1300 screen instead of 1200 and it's cheaper than the Poke 5! (not much in the EU) why does $149 become € 169 in the EU store (+20 shipping with UPS because it still ships from US or Hongkong).

Wow thanks for the info. This is unacceptable behaviour. Difficult to believe it's an unintentional mistake.

Yes. And the cpu has also been upgraded and it's lighter too. Boox is famous for releasing new devices with only a few minor upgrades
