    Good stuff can’t wait to get some range time to try.

    This really makes a lot of sense. And is a great test to see which grip force works! I cant wait to try this on the range.
    I think this is very valuable. And echos some comment's from some high level shooters. Or at least the ones I listen too. It's about "repeatable" recoil positions. Not forcing the gun to stay still.
    But yours is the first exolanation of how to do that AND how to test it. Excellent.

    Once I saw the PDP: I knew you weren’t lying. I say this as a multiple PDP owner. Polymer and Steel frames. Coming from the M&P and Glocks and going to Walther was a very INTERESTING experience. I realized that I wasn’t that great at the fundamentals. The PDP really forces you to dial your fundamentals in 100%. Great video! Multiple great points ESPECIALLY with all the snake oil special grip videos on here. 😒 Definitely earned a sub from me. 🫡

    Excellent video and tutorial... I am boldly gonna use this video to educate my newbies, as I ran out of energy to repeat...LOL... I apply the same principle, just a tad higher with my 'drumstick' on the frame, often resulting in pushing up the slide catch, or holding it down and not allowed a slide lock on empty mag, which sucks during matches... so I am constantly evolving and my grip has changed a lot over the years, but def leans closest to this video... keep ip the good work, I will subscribe and support...

    Great explanation…thanks.
    My thought until recently was that I had to do everything I could, strength wise, to negate muzzle flip, so of course I’ve been squeezing super hard, support hand high up and even my index finger around the front of the trigger guard, pulling back. Very exhausting.
    Your video as well as Ben Steoger’s has made me realize the muzzle flip will happen , you just need that gun to get back to the spot. 👍🏻

    Thanks for your discussion of grip and diagnostics for a proper grip with your drill. Best Grip training video with shooter feedback I haves seen. You just don't repeat the standard dogmatic Grip techniques most TH-cam trainers give.

    Just get a Glock and once you get that you can shoot anything after that. But it's good that we have some people like you explaining it the best you can but it's nothing like studying yourself

    According to you guys like pew view are shooting pistols wrong because his support hand is too far forward on the gun.

    • @citizen_defense
      @citizen_defense  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@b3astmde939 I wouldn’t go as far to say he’s doing it wrong cause clearly it works for him. If anyone shoots that way and they can get the performance they want then power on man. A lot of guys talk about that type of support hand placement and it ends there, they don’t articulate what they are doing with grip pressures which is ultimately going to make the biggest impact. In my experience getting high on the gun isn’t beneficial cause I’m not trying to “ prevent recoil” I’m trying to make it predictable.

    • @b3astmde939

      @@citizen_defense I understand it’s a different type of method for rapid shooting. Most people just say minimize recoil and keep the dot or sight on target as much as possible. Along with releasing the trigger as you realign your dot.

    Grip strength is nonsense to me. A 5'2' 100 pound woman can shoot better than a 6'2" 250 dude, strength is irrelevant. It's about finesse baby.
