  • For unravelling its economic destiny, India has committed to the market model - by far the best economic model humanity came up with. How far can this path take us? Say we become 6-times of what we are today, the current economy of the same size today has an entire population that is smaller than India’s workforce. There is nothing unique about India that will afford us the privilege to use technologies less primitive. Willy-nilly, India’s market model too would have to grow with then current technologies; and if this means future technologies, it also means the new economy of the same size would call for even lesser manpower than what a USA or China did. In short, grown even six times, there is no credible resolution to creating enough complex jobs that can absorb the scale of graduates that India is already churning.
Is this the biggest elephant in the room? Did we remember to put on notice those who would effect this growth? What if we didn't?

it's not that today's youth are lacking behind you. it's just that guys like you didn't do your job to provide better opportunity to better students. it was duty of your generation to create swift transition stage, and guess what you failed and this burden added to shoulders of youths .

Well whatever is the STATE OF PRESENT, accountability for the good and bad, lies with those who lead the state of affairs to the present. By that measure, your cause and effect is well placed. Irrespective of who or what the past generations did, does that tied down the current generation? Is their thinking truly tethered down by the past? The past holds no limitation on the extent of play one may have in the present - this is unraveling we try to effect in students. The organization that I referred to in the talk reached our 500,000 students through such conversations and structured programs in over 2006-2016. Perhaps our bit to set right things that were amiss. I do hope however, you will move beyond the blame and find the freedom and flexibility you always had.

'Opening up' education, cutting syllabus and each of the suggestions that have been made are definitely options that positively influence the case for interest exploration, pursuit of individual motivations and personalizing the process of education.

Majority of Indian youth is living on their parents savings, spending parents money on useless education.India will be desperate when the savings of older generation will be over. India is walking towards a disaster.

Relax... *The Industrial economies will give way to Renewable Economy* and that is where India & China can contribute. In 2048 India will have better:
    1. EV vehicles
    2. Organic/Farms
    3. Biogas/CNG/Hydrogen as fuel
    4. Solar on every roof.
*Unfortunately western countries (due to their climate) can AT BEST do only 1 of the above... just EV.*
The world will be a very changed place when India & China become biggest economies of the world.

Whatever happens in the west, happens 100x times worst in failed socialist India. Always had, always will be.
