I saw over on ig the 6.7 is having issues? I saw a commercial for that concern with a bad ass replacement part. I dont really understand what happened or what that part does but id say a good chance to plug that company and get your shit back on the gucci path❤ i got excited and tried out my dual tank switch (previous owner advised against and was just using rear) on the 97. Now both of my tanks overflow trying to fill up😂😂😂😂 I got maybe $15 in and bailed it was not going well. Walk of shame to get my change back from the cashier at the gas station 😂 my gauges are wonky for fuel level too, so the plan is Im gonna drop the tanks and replace the sending units complete with pickups and replace the roll over valves with bigger fittings and hoses. Also gonna throw in the switching valve and see what happens. I have a fat box of super random parts to install mostly door and steering column parts for now but gas tank projects are next for me.

Great video! I thought KC Stage 2 was only if you tow really heavy otherwise stage 1 should be used? Wouldn’t stage 1 spool up quicker and be better for every day use? How does the stage 2 turbo spool quicker than the OEM turbo?
Ive taken off a 6.7 turbo with the cab on it was a nightmare tho and I mean I could probably get it off within 5 hours but idk we just took the front 4 cab bolts off and lift it up a little bit but not completely off
I always thought it was the transmission that was the weak link in these trucks, they're good, but with enough power you considerably reduce the life of the clutches. My buddy's trucks trans is already slipping when changing gears.
Well the transmissions were never made to be tuned to shit or have a 800 horse motor in front of them but I’ve realized it’s five or take with the early 6r140s sun take a shit after upgrades sum handle it fine but the newer ones have better clutches but still with any upgraded motor recommend a better trans

For a aftermarket turbo i kinda figured it would be faster. I got a 07.5 lmm duramax, tune intake and exhaust. I can crack the 6 second mark 0-60 with stock turbo. Plus im a mile above sea level.
Pulling a cab to do a 6.7 turbo is absurd! Turbo job on a 6.7 is a 3-4 hour job max. The cobra head and lower clamp can all be removed thru the passenger side fender well.
Aye man, have you ever encountered an issue with any of your KC turbos that they stop making boost? I’ve been experiencing this weird phenomenon lately where it does a vane sweep at idle when I’m stopped and in gear and then when I go it just stops working until I turn my truck off and back on. My tuning company says it’s a turbo issue, KC says it’s a tuning issue. I just don’t know. 🤷🏽♂️

I have a 2001 ford f350 7.3 powerstroke. I've had the trans rebuild but still having problems with shifting. I bet you can't tell me what's going on a with it and I've had it back to the tanny shop 3 times already and I'm still having problems could you help
@@jakedawson2249 I only did the 75 hp tune to compare it to the last test I ran with the 75hp tune before the turbo so the tests were somewhat accurate.
Update to this comment in the process of doing a warlock kit with the stage 1 on my 12 model with the cab on and going back with new parts now both up pipers and downpipe are back in all that’s left is the lower and upper intakes and buttoning everything back up tomorrow after work I’ll let you know how she rips on a 230 file
Too much even in Hawaii. Diesel should be under $3 a gallon in the mainland. What makes me scratch my head is why is Diesel $6 a gallon in California. That is what is truly messed up.

I did a 2013 6.7 Powerstroke turbo a few weeks ago cab on with no issues. Proper tools made the job go by quickly.
Ive done alot of jobs on these powerstrokes, they are not difficult. The worst is the v band clamps on the exhaust.
i’ve done 3 6.7 turbos with cab on under 5ish hrs never really timed myself.

The bolt holding the down pipe down the clamp that holds both parts of down pipe together and the lower v band are all very do able with cab down

When me and my GPA replaced my engine in my 11-16 we left the cab on it was a pain but we got the the turbo out in like 1hr

I work at a dealer bud. We do them all the time. Pullin the cab for a turbo is crazy. A simple search into a shop manual will show it’s not needed.

Sorry, but personally I don't like the turbo hiss at idle. However, VGT is much better for daily driving compared to non-VGT turbo.
