These guys want both sides to win. They aren't going to run you for your money.

I put the KC drop in Turbo for obs on my 1997 ,I have the ZF 5 speed It helped it spool up a little faster but had good power on the top end. Installation was difficult and dont ever want to go through that ordeal again.
I did mine on my driveway... Use a 15mm swivel socket on those lower flange nuts, and 1/4" drive with extensions and a 3/8' ratchet on the hidden pedestal bolts... The key ingredient is PB Blaster! Apply it liberally using a flashlight light and mirror to make sure you get it in the right places, wait hours or even days to soak in. I have never found a bolt that could withstand PB Blaster.
I would definitely put an Efuel system on it asap before you ruin your injectors, the mechanical pump can barely supply fuel pressure to the stock sticks. Also, put an upgraded hpop like a t800 and it’ll be super noticeable seat of the pants wise and will have so much more low end and throughout the rest of the rpm range. the hpop is a super slept on upgrade for the 7.3’s
Have you heard about this new gapless rings / piston? Can’t recall the name MFG, of it though the reports and results on these are spectacular. Significantly lower Emission. renders cleaner oil, almost ZERO blow-by, etc.
Ok so i have a 01 7.3 power stroke, and was planning on getting a hydra chip for speed, but after this i need this turbo for sure. so do i need a separate tune for the turbo, or can i buy the turbo and the hydra chip and that’ll do the tune itself. so basically do i need a separate tune tuned by a shop for this turbo, or can i just buy the hydra and turbo and call it a day. hopefully all of that makes sense.

I do most of the work on my truck in the grass and dirt in a slanted yard on a mountain, I’m 52 years old and plenty grouchy, So Man I do what I have to do whether like it or not. Shops and concrete would be much easier but sometimes ya find out what you’re made of when the challenge gets conquered. Cool video! I have the kc300x 63/73 .84 stage 2 with 180/80 holders premium injectors, 5” turbo back MRBP exhaust and a bunch of other great additions but still porting the heads so I’m in limbo mode, this video got me All Jacked Up like a Spider Monkey! you are by far my most favorite TH-camr I own a 2015 6.7 powerstroke. I want my truck to push about 550 to 600 horsepower if you can. Could you tell me what type of turbo fuel system would be best for that while also trying to keep reliability I have no price limit as I’m buying these overtime. @@bullettclubb7934those intakes are so restrictive they are not good for 500hp😂 and they make a huge difference on stock truck let alone a truck with big injectors and a big turbo, and those up pipes are really restrictive and they leak really bad especially on a truck with that many miles

Also when filling the tank... If you stop when the pump pops your tank is not full. You can put in another 3 - 5 gallons ( I have added 7 -9 gals completely topping off both tanks!) You have to dribble it in until the filler tube is topped or you are just kidding yourself! I had a buddy who used to brag that his was getting 21 MPG... !? I said let me try filling your truck next time... When we were done and his actual mileage was 16.45 MPG... he would no longer talk to me... As if it was my fault he didn't know ho to fill his tank...!?
Don’t run ur diesels below a quarter. If you do it too many times, it fuel pump will grenade and send metal thru ur fuel system (up to injectors and more).
If you do run it down a lot, put a Fass or airdog, a metal fuel pump in their cause factory ford fuel pumps are aluminum. So I don’t think it will shred up like the stock ones.

We had 7.3 in a tow fleet. That F350 was amazing. Over 400K miles and she did not use any oil.
