You're right! I never would have thought of that. So there is NO excuse for not being able to find and arrest these people. Plus, the DOJ can subpoena social media platforms to track down the conspiratorial posts these people made in advance. I don't think that everyone there was in on the plan for violence, but a bunch of them definitely were or they wouldn't have brought that equipment with them.

The most shocking scene for me was the woman that cried "they maced me". She felt so very right in what she had done. She seemed completely shocked about the fact that someone actually tried to stop her, as if this was something she never expected. She thought herself to be on the right side, on the protected side. Why would they have only 1/5th of the DC police on duty that day? Why did the Capitol police only have thin baton “wands” to defend themselves with from these thugs? Why was the National Guard FINALLY sent in by the state of Virginia, bc Trump would not call them out, but they were unarmed and told to “stand down” during such a serious breach of a major American symbol such as our Capitol? How did the mob know exactly WHERE to go to find certain members’ offices, and even knew the whereabouts of one senator’s PRIVATE (2nd) office, that most none of the other members don’t even know? Why did one cop get caught POSING with one of the “terrorists” inside the Capitol? Why are NONE of the members of this TERRORIST MOB getting charged with DOMESTIC TERRORISM? This is a DISGRACE! Instead they’re being charged with lesser crimes like “trespassing, vandalism, etc.”!!! I keep thinking about when the disabled people went to protest in Mitch McConnell's office to beg him not to destroy their Medicaid and I remember those cops manhandling those sick delicate compromised fragile people, especially that lady in the wheelchair and they slammed her face first onto the floor. Yanking them out of their wheelchairs, carrying out twisted up people attached to oxygen. I don't remember them taking any selfies. There are a lot of bad cops. We've known it and this proves it. It's unfortunate that one of their colleagues was bludgeoned to death because of their betrayal.

Unless they had burner phones, any phone tied to them personally such as billing or even the IP address on websites they have a presence on - If the phone was there at the capitol and on - it has information recorded and kept forever on huge data farm servers with multiple off site back up. Every six minutes or less your cell phones location is stored with the carrier, Apple if you have an iPhone and google if you have an android and/or use any of their services. They can in real time turn all cameras and microphones on, in some models they can do this even with the main battery removed as there are small receivers inside the phone that can actually pull enough power from the cell tower to operate (kinda like wireless charging). In others you can't take the battery out and in yet others you can take the battery out but there will be a small secondary battery you don't know about. We carry an expensive direct line to the CIA in our pockets and stare blankly at the screen for hours on end daily becoming more addicted daily to the plan.

I have seen powerful protest policing in the US (occupy wall street, BLM, DAPL...)
In Canada (I'm Canadian) during the 2012 Québec Student Strike, the anti-riot police was extremely well equipped and efficient.
In France where I live now, you would have seen hundreds of police vans, policemen with riot control guns shooting rubber bullets, or anti-riot grenades, policemen on horses or motocycles...
In fact the yellow vests in 2018 tried once to approach the "Assemblée Nationale" building (parliament) they didn't stand a chance.
In DC last wednesday, it is obvious that it was organised for the police to fail and the intrusion of right-wing marauders to succeed.

I have voted Democrat and Republican my whole life. I generally choose the person who I feel is best prepared for the job. This woke culture is ridiculous and having to be shamed on a daily basis for being white is too much. I can't tell you the police taking selfies intentions, but in my subjective opinion, the Capitol was overrun by absolute crazy maniacs who believe in the craziest conspiracy theories. If the overrun police had started to act aggressive towards these psychos, they would make the situation worse end escalate things. By taking selfies and acting nice, I think they calmed the situation. When I was 13-14 years old I was confronted by a couple guys older than me, and I could tell by the aggressive tone and subtle insults that I was about to get my butt kicked. I did the same thing as those cops, I was nice to them and cracked jokes, and I ended up not getting my ass kicked. Just my 2 cents.

When I first heard people mentioning this option, I thought they were buying into yet another conspiracy theory. But the more I think about it and the more evidence that comes out, it seems more and more plausible, possible, and probable. I've never been to the Capitol, but plenty of people who have spent much time inside its walls say how confusing it can be to navigate properly. There is clearly much more to this than we currently know, and I really hope the truth can soon come out.

I was worried about the inauguration in November and predicted last year that if Trump lost, he would cause some type of race war. Be assured, this was a race war in the making.

I usually think things like this are blown out of proportion, but I'm genuinely concerned that something is going to happen. I'm sure that, as we speak, safety measures and precautions are being put into place, but it won't be enough. At the very least, there will be a hateful, angry presence trying to disrupt the inauguration. Crowds screaming to drown out the speakers, mobs trying to force their way in, projectiles being thrown, etc. At worst... I don't even want to imagine the carnage. All I know is that it won't be a peaceful day.

Right now I’m watching lots of Procreate App Tutorials and farming stuff. We don’t have to watch the news. I know some people are used to it though, I wish they wouldn’t but it’s their life. Free speech is important though, so the news is ok with me even if they are lying, because we have the freedom to watch something else, or say something else or say something better than them, or even that weird thing called the truth
