As a person living in oahu, i would say that this is the absolute best video for recommendations. Even the tourist places you recommened are actually worth visiting and im glad you left out the ones that are not worth visiting. Please make more videos like this!
This is the highest honor. Thank you for the comment!
My wife and I have been to Hawaii for 40-50 times! Love some of the things to see and do that we had no idea of! Thanks for putting the vlog and sharing it!
Off the beaten path is always a new adventure!
As soon as I heard the second and third trails, I knew this video gonna be really adventurous and fun. Those are my favorite hikes in Ohau.
Video is beast!! Hawaii is unreal and I love going there. Diving, surfing, chilling, hanging out. The best beaches and views! ❤
Glad to see you enjoyed O'ahu so much. That farmer's market is one we go to often. So many great vendors. Aloha n come back n visit!
This is a great video! Extremely helpful for planning a trip to Oahu. The recommendations were all interesting and some were definitely new places I haven't seen in other popular videos. Thank you!

Thanks for sharing your recommendations! We're traveling to Oahu in May to visit family and we definitely will check out these hikes!
There are many amazing ones to discover. If you haven’t already, check out www.alltrails.com. Great resource! Have fun on your trip!
We were floored by the Bishop Museum!! A MUST do👍🏼
Seriously underrated! More people should check it out.
Thank you so much for the first 3 recommendations you made on this video!!!
No problem! Have you been?
Geart video and information.🤙🏽
Great information, we are visiting Oahu in two weeks😊this info will help us a lot, tfs 👍👌
Thank you for the car rental advice!!! We were freaking out about having to almost spend a grand on each island!

Mahalo nui for doing research on our History 🙌❤
This was great, thank you
Anytime friend
Wow great tips Alvin! Been dreaming of visiting Oahu and watching this is just very helpful! I always think that travels are made easier when you have the best travel gears and essentials too. The bento bag from Nomad Lane is my best carry-on bag for travels like this. Thought I'd share it with you guys too!
Make sure you go to the Byodo Temple! Get the bird/fish food from the gift shop. The birds and swans will eat it right out of your hand!!! 😇
I'm soooooo excited! We are moving to oahu in a few weeks :)
Great informative video. Hawaii is on our bucket list!! We are Australians living in Canada. New Subscribers here 😊👋🏽👋🏻 - D&S
Omg you guys made my day!! Thank you for the kind words. I’m also Canadian - hail from Vancouver. Tons of snowbirds in Hawaii in the winter!
Great tips! I learned a lot from this :)
Hahahahhahahh thank you for your support!
Very well said and shared Alvin for a non-local. Props bruddah!🤙🏽
Hey Alvin, I originally from Kahala in Honolulu, but now living here at Palm 🌴 Beach Australia
Your video was excellent, I've only been to Diamond Head Lookout but ofcourse Ala Moana Mall, the North Shore and Dole Pineapple Factory.
Keep up the good word. Kind regards Moe, Palm 🌴 Beach Australia
Thank you, Moe! Glad to see you traded one nice shore for another. :)
very nice video, i wish there was more photos and information so i can watch while deaf or captiona
For a long stretch of uncrowded beach that is rimmed with trees if you want to escape the sun, I suggest Waimanalo, also called Sherwood. It’s our favorite due to its relaxed atmosphere and shade.
Hey man don’t expose our spots like that we locals don’t like that lol
Nice video . A 30 day stay ? :)
Is it possible to snorkel at the kaneohe sand bar without knowing how to swim?
Were those your drone shots? Any recommendations on drone spots on the island?
Yes they were! Honestly the beaches on the west side were amazing. Ridge hikes are great too
try explore Bali, Indonesia u will see the difference
FYI I called Kualoa Ranch, and they said if you don't book online they charge a $15 non-refundable surcharge. They claim their website is working, but I was unable to book anything
That’s a bummer. I booked online. Maybe there’s a bug now
where did Kamehameha live on Oahu?
Attempted Pali Notches Feb 2023 - it is no longer being maintained, and was treacherous. I bailed after 1/4 mile for safety concerns.
Would you ok to list your video gear ?
Of course! I actually just shoot on my iPhone 12 Pro Max and my DJI mavic air 2. I also use moment lenses on my iPhone.
Stay 10 feet from the turtles! They are protected and you can't get near them. And if you have any health issues, don't listen to a thing in this video- none of these hikes are for bad knees, ankles, hearts, etc. (To include Diamond Head, which you need to hit by 5:45 am if you want parking, after you make a reservation with their new system.)
Do not take prok in the tank the Hawaii ghost wii get you 🙈🙉🙊
Go fishing or pig hunting or raise your own chickens. Grow your own vegetable. Save money on food.
Lanikai is nowhere near Diamond Head and you cannot see Lanikai from Diamond Head! And Lanikai is not on the North Shore and the sun does not disappear early.....get your facts straight.....
Good Video.. The Music is NOT Necessary, it is distracting and annoying!
I barely noticed it.
Amateur camera work. Too much headroom.
thank you.
braddah no ack!! haoles go home!!!
