Just went to Oahu this past week, March 2022, and my favorite thing we did was Kualoa Ranch. We did the side by side ATV and the sights were breathtaking to say the least! It was a 2 hour tour and we got to drive our own ATV through a gorgeous mountain with a group and a guide. We stopped to take pictures and for some history lessons from our guide. Definitely well worth it and highly recommend! We also walked Waikiki and I agree, great shopping and eats. It was pretty cool because we were there when the mask mandate ended so shopping with a mask was optional, but honestly almost nobody was wearing a mask anymore.
Love that tour! It's so gorgeous over there. It's wild to think it's only 45 min from the concrete jungle of Waikiki.
How fast are the atvs
@@mphon1828 We were going about 25-30 mph. You're in a group following a guide the entire time.
Do you know if the atv ride and horseback ride are the same trail?
@@Sancheezy323 Separate bc of the horse poop & to not scare the horses. There are a few sections of the trail that overlap or are close together.
Also, Ko Olina Beach Club. Great place for families and extremely beautiful! Highly recommend visiting. We didn't stay at any of the hotels here but you can go as a visitor and enjoy the day. Beautiful beaches, lagoons and restaurants.
Good call! Those lagoons are really gorgeous and perfect for a nice calm area to swim.

First day ever in Waikiki, and first thing I did was walk along the Hilton Hawaiian village all the way down halfway through Waikiki. Then zig zagged back through the side streets back to the Illikai. Fun stuff. I now live in here! Lol.

Was in Oahu in 82 and 2015...I did a few of the things on this list...I'd love a "threepeat" some day.... Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort is my "go to"
I do like the Hilton's lagoon. Such a nice spot to relax.
I loved this video as i am planning on going October 2023. If you have any suggestions as far as where to stay as I would like to do a full day in Pearl Harbor and a few things in this video.

We stayed in wikiki for 2 weeks last year it was amazing. The whole covid thing made some stuff difficult but it was still great! We are planning on going back next year and i plan on doing everything we wanted to do last time but didn't get a chance to do

We were just in Honolulu in Feb. and had always wanted to check out the outdoor swap meet. Definitely disappointed as 90% of the merchants sell the exact same products/clothing. We did come across a couple of local stands we bought from, but for the most part repetitive merchandise at every stand.

Thanks for watching! There are lots of kiosks on the beach itself to rent beach chairs & umbrellas. Most places are first come, first served the day-of the rental. One spot that isn't super crowded is by the Hale Koa, there is a "Dive Oahu" kiosk that rents chairs/umbrellas. Farther down (more center of Waikiki), the Royal Hawaiian beach boys kiosk also rents chairs/umbrellas. I'd go early, closer to 8am so you can try to get the 1st row of beach chairs/umbrellas rather than farther back.

Hello Mary. Thanks for the videos. My wife and I will be on a Princess cruise to Hawaii in October of this year. Our first stop will be in Honolulu. We are doing an excursion to the Polynesian Cultural Center for most of the day, but would be back at the cruise port around 4pm or 5pm. We'll have about 6 more hours until the ship leaves. Wondering what you might recommend to do within a short (walking) distance from the Honolulu cruise port to do in the late afternoon/evening on October 28th?
October 28th is a Friday. You could head into the downtown financial district area to walk around or grab an early dinner. Lucky Belly is one of my favorite restaurants there! Another option is to grab a cab or Uber/Lyft to Kakaako. Moku's is one of my favorite restaurants in that area. Kakaako has lots of wall art and is a nice artsy area to walk around in as well.
We will be there in June, I’m not much for tourist. So we got a cottage at Kailua for our anniversary.

I have never been to Hawaii and wondering which island should I visit as a first-timer. I love the beaches, nightlife, shopping, and other activities.
I'd say Oahu for sure! Oahu has a mix of urban and nature 🌱
Oahu definitely has more great food and fun things to do then the other Islands where mostly you golf, sit at the pool or go to the beach on Maui. Depending on which one you prefer.
What about going to Nutbridge? We are hoping for a smaller venue with good food
Most likely checking out Nutridge Luau next month! 💯 I've been to that area when they had the "Big Kahuna Luau" (same venue, different luau) and it was pretty gorgeous. Looking forward to checking out this new one.

is it worth getting a tour bus to go to the north shore just to visit the area or am i best spending what time i have around waikiki ?

North Shore is gorgeous. I'd say it's worth it to spend 1 day exploring and maybe 2-3 days relaxing in Waikiki. If you're short on time, a tour will show you a lot without having to fuss with getting lost. There's full day island tours and North Shore only tours. Both area great options. If you can, I'd fit Waimea Valley in. It's a botanical garden with a nice nature walk (paved) and a waterfall at the end.

Thanks for the great tips on Waikiki. We have a small pocket of time on a Sunday morning and then need to get to the airport. Lots of the group tours are too long for us to join and make our airport time. Do you recommend any private tour places? We don't want to rent a car and go on our own...we want the narration of a tour guide.

Hawaii is one of the most sought after destination and during peak summer season it gets busy. I'd recommend booking pre-arrival if it's on your "must do" list! 🤙🏼
I tried to get tickets online amd there were no more available..shoukd I still go early in the morning and see if there are any tickets???

hiii! starting to research my next bday trip..I wanna do 2/3 days Honolulu...whats another area I should add to my itinerary..somewhere that has extreme blue pretty water/beach resort vibe. I know maui is popular. What else would you recommend?
Maui is gorgeous and one of my favorites! Wailea on Maui has a nice resort vibe as well.
Do you have a video on protecting your valuables while swimming or at the beach?
It depends on where you are. If you're in Waikiki by the Hilton Village, there are some lockers you can rent (best for storing your phone - keeps it out of the hot sun & there's a charger inside the locker too). If you're in a group, usually one person can stay on the beach with the stuff. Outside of that, one way is to just keep an eye on your valuables while swimming but the best way is to avoid bringing anything valuable so you don't have to worry about it. If I'm going solo to the beach, I usually just bring a towel and maybe 1 credit card if I want to buy anything.
Hi, Are they still running shuttles or bus from Waikiki to Waikele Outlets as that’s always a must when we visit
None that I know of just yet but I'd bet they will start back up in the summer (June/July) when there are more travelers.

Hanauma Bay is a popular option to snorkel from shore. 🐠

Can be! They usually will update the website saying if the sunflowers are (or are not) in bloom 🤙🏼 so much fun, would recommend! I think last time we went, it was maybe $10 or $15

Love your videos. Any recs for jet skiing?
H20 sports on the East side is pretty fun (This one: shrsl.com/3gb3l). Keep in mind jet skiing here is a little different than in some other areas as you'll have buoys and a set area. I haven't done that one since pre-covid but will be next month. Not sure when you're arriving to the islands but if it's after May, stay tuned for a detailed review of it!

That's awesome! What's your favorite place in Waikiki? Most hotels have their free activities online too - hula lessons, lei making, and so forth. The Hilton Village is popular for families too!

The reason I don’t like sponsored videos is heavier they just sell you expensive activities that have very little to do with Hawaii itself.
Much better idea would be to do a few of the numerous gorgeous rainforest hikes on Oahu. But they cost close to nothing.

Sponsored videos are what allow me to film and showcase activities so people can see them (BEFORE purchasing). Creating videos is very time-intensive as it's shot in multiple locations, usually with a videographer, and of course editing afterwards.

I wonder what inspires a comment like this - to tell someone on their own channel that you're upset to see their face. Bless your heart! Lucky for you, the entire channel has lots of things to do in Hawaii.
I mean I was trying to show my 8 year old son something about Hawaii specifically Oahu but your video mostly shows you talking. I think people want to see more images of the place that is named in the video rather then the person who has been there talk about it or at least you doing something there. It’s why I go to TH-cam rather then reading about it on the web.
