I met you a couple of weeks ago in a crappie house in Ennis Tx. I have to say I've been a fan of yours and the channel for a while now. You're as real as they come and I appreciate you sharing videos like this to show us that even you guys have rough days and can't make the crappie thump that line. Keep posting the real content like you do. God bless you and yours bro.
@@Deecrappie brother I see these in my area all the time . My son and I Are avid fisherman and we CPR all . Have u ever been stopped by someone or the game warden
Looked like you all had a lot of fun. Found this video by accident and really enjoyed it. Have not pond fished since fall of '91, after getting home from the Persian Gulf. Last pond I fished in was an old log pond, that has since been put behind locked gates. There were tons of 3-4 inch long bluegill in it, but no bass, crappie or anything else. Did catch a red eared slider there, which surprised me, only the second turtle I ever caught on a hook and line. The first one was in the City Lake in Nashville, Arkansas and it was a snapping turtle. Have done a lot of fishing off the Pacific coast, with my largest fish tipping the scales at 94.5 pounds and measuring 76 inches in length, it took nearly 45 minutes to land it. Was using a Mitchell bait casting reel, 18 pound mono, twin 0/1 eagleclaw bait hooks on a 30 pound mono leader and 20 pound mono line with a herring filet as bait. My largest fresh water fish was a bull Chinook Salmon that was 42 inches long and weighed 36.5 pounds, caught it on a 0/1 Eagleclaw treble hook behind a "Krocodile" muskie lure on 12 pound mono line. Had to horse it out of a set of white water rapids and into some slack water, so we could get control of it. You would you believe, I am still using the same rod and reel that Dad got me for my 15th B'day, in 1966, just in time for the winter steelhead run. Unfortunately, I cannot get out and go fishing like I used to anymore, had a stroke a couple years ago that messed up my ability to walk on uneven ground, like you all traversed getting to the ponds in this video. I can no longer get out and fish like I used to, have difficulty traversing rough terrain following a stroke a couple years ago. So I get my "outdoors fix" by mostly watching you healthy youngsters going out fishing or hunting. Keep the outdoors videos coming, please. Orlando, you're definitely right. You always want to catch fish, but if you don't, and you have your boys around...it makes it all worth it in the end!
I remember the days when l was 12 or 13 and l fished this old pond that was fed by a small creek about 100 yards from my granmas house. Nobody ever fish there cause it looked like no fish was in it. Turns out it had hundreds of bass(big ones) and lots of crappie, catfish. I would spend my summer vacations (l still hadn't gone girl crazy yet) under a huge oak tree catching fish on just about every cast. I told a couple of people about my catch, they didn't believe me. So.......l kept silent after that. I had the whole fish to myself. My granpa would fillet them out and my granma would fry them . Those times l'll never forget, no worries about anything and all the fish to myself. This video bought back alot of good memories. Great job. God bless.
Hey guys take it from a guy that's missing fishing them bucket mouth are looking so good I have nothing but mad respect for crappie fishing but Dam them bass look so goo show me more in my fishing time some time the best thing come when you least expect them to much love and joy watching you bring them in a bad day fishing you know the rest..
When I got the notification for this video it said that this video was private I don't know why it said that but I'm glad that you got it straightened out
Hey guys. Don't try to set the hook with braded line, just take out the slack. With 0 stretch, you can easily pull the bait /hook out of their mouths. 6 pound line is more than plenty for what you are doing :)
I love it, you guys are having such a great time fishing an pond hopping, it would be so cool to share a few laughs with good people and catch some slabs this summer.
This was one entertaining video to watch! Thank you for getting my mind off all the crap going on today. Blessings to you guys and to anyone reading this.
My first time watching and now I'm a fan. I love fishing. Born in Arkansas live until age 11 and now live in Iowa age 43 now. I taught my kids how to fish and they love it too.
Some nice Bass are not a bad bonus, even if no Crappies. At least in the north woods we don't have to dodge Gators and Cottonmouths! That's combat fishing! Good luck and good Crappies! If you are ever up north, let me know, I'll take you out Musky fishing. Big fish, big teeth!
This how brothers talk shit to each other on each and every trip. I watch a lot of anglers on TH-cam but this was so relatable as to my personal experiences
I enjoyed this video. I just drove thru Paris yesterday. Sometimes those fish just don't want to bite, even when you got skillz. Yall stay safe and sharing these videos with us. I love the trash talking lol. Yall stay blessed.
