Wow! That looks delish! I found a recipe years ago for stuffed meatloaf, lost it and this comes pretty close to what I remember. Finally! Thanks for posting!I
Nice Job Michelle! ... I have made a lot of meatloaf over the years but this rolling is a new way for me. Am going to try it soon. Thank you loved it :)
Where did you get the garlic grinder? I often see spice grinders, but never a garlic grinder! Maybe you could give me the name and I will look it up online! I have arthritis and anything that helps me finish my work faster would be a great help for me!
@@bitebymichelle4813 Can you use a spice grinder for garlic as well as spices? I've got a mini chopper, but it doesn't do a good job if I have only 3-5 cloves of garlic I have to put like 10-20 cloves for it to chop them!
I know you have to go to your website to get the recipe. You measured all the ingredients but their was no mention of how many pounds of meat you used?
Don't worry about the egg on the floor, Michelle...Eggs are actually great for dogs. Makes their fur/coats shine like the "Top of the Chrysler building"! LOL. Good job, matey.
What's up with y'all not using green peppers in your meatloaf? I saw only one person use green bell peppers in the meatloaf. I don't think I've had any without it being in it!
Ground fennel sure gives it lots of flavor. Seems like a stand mixer would make a nice meat mixer and eliminate bacteria on the hands. I would place the meat right on the baking pan without making a roll. When baked it all looks the same when covered with tomato sauce. What a chef doesn't like to hear: Please pass the ketchup. PS: The George Foreman grill would cook the loaf in 15 minutes - draining all the artery clogging fat.
Always wear disposable gloves when making meat loaf. Working with bare hands is simply wrong. This is the reason I always do my own cooking you never know where other peoples hands have been.
By Your ingredients it seems like you are making meatballs instead of meatloaf. Think about no peppers, more onion, more salt and no parsley. This is a dish that screams for fermented tomato condiments at serving.
For me, a meatloaf is absolutely not Italian. So, I would skip the mozzarella inside and out. But sun dried tomatoes is a very good idea. Of course, the tomato sauce is essential. 😊
OMG you never washed your hands after handling the meat! Love the recipe but you HAVE to wash your hands every time you handle the meat. I have 33 years experience in Microbiology. You have to wash your hands. Your salt and pepper containers and parchment paper container are now cross contaminated.
My husband's family is from Italy, in fact his father was actually a cook when he first came here just prior to WW II . Whenever they encountered something that was not how they made it my mother-in-law would say "They must be Sicilian! " This would definitely be Sicilian or Phoney American to her. It probably is good but no one in my fami!y would eat it. I could have stopped watching after the fennel.
OMG! Are you from the north? I have never seen such a mess! Where is the green bell pepper? the chopped celery? the ketchup? Nope. Would not eat in my kitchen. Way too la la land.
Hello Michelle! I just made your recipe last night, so much flavor and deliciousness in this meatloaf. Thank you so so much for sharing. :)
Please make more videos! It was so easy to follow! Ignore negativity! Thanks

Was glad to see a great chef make a mistake that wasn't edited out. I laughed so hard when you dropped that egg.
This is the best meatloaf recipe I've ever seen. Thanks.
Buena receta. La voy a hacer. Me encantó.
Great idea for a meat loaf recipe! ❤
Love your show
Te roll up meatloaf is really something. Thanks for this great idea. 👍
So very 👌 delicious that I like the recipe 👍 😋
It tastes better if you saute the onions and garlic before you bake the meatloaf.
Thanks everyone! Wish me luck for the next one...
Really different. I use bell peppers and tomato sauce. Never tried it with fennel or cheese. Will have to try it sometime.
Nice Job Michelle! ... I have made a lot of meatloaf over the years but this rolling is a new way for me. Am going to try it soon. Thank you loved it :)

N.y UFC
This would be good with Italian sausage in place of the pork.

in addition to this the alcohol is NOT burned out when you cook the meatloaf if you doubt this look it up.

Hi Karen, Honestly, it's over 30 years old. No idea where I bought it. You could use a mini food processor. Good luck!

I put bbq sauce in mine and on top of it no fenell
WOW!!
would want to saute onions.....garlic and greens first.
Why not precook your unions?
Just fry the garlic and unions and green unions for a second before putting it in the meat mix
Can this be made without the addition of the pork??
Hey sorry for all the complainers they embarrass me
More flavor if you sauté Onion & Garlic 1st ...

Unfortunately it is the norm Chefs cooks doing salads always use their hands Placing on garnishes etc
Wash hands after throwing stuff in garbage
You
Very good recipe, but why don't you have everything already chopped and ready to go before the video starts? It would be much easier to watch.
I wet my bread crumbs first in some milk
I came across and I watched these video and I noticed that there’s no hand washing in between touching the meat!!!!😃
She probably turned camera off when she washed her hands to save video time.

You didnt say pds of meat

Meatloaf is actually very Italian, it’s just a different recipe
Yeah id hate to find a finger in my meatloaf only to discover its my own!!!
Just a question, chefs never wash their hands nor the ingredients, I mean, onions, herbs ànd stuff? So, definitely I am not a chef !
rolled meatloaf. IMG
who in their right mind puts wine in meatloaf it would never be done my an intelligent cook.
#1 unsanitary #2 ingredients unusual to say the least...
#3 I would not eat your food!

A southern cook....
You should have prepared your peeling of veggies.
When you touch a trash can or a knob maybe you wash your hands I stopped watching...
Meatloaf for an 'Italian' chef...
Wouldn't good practice be to wash your hands again after touching the rubbish bin?
your not making a meatloaf, your making a giant meat ball.
OMG you never washed your hands after handling the meat! Love the recipe but you HAVE to wash your hands every time you handle the meat. I have 33 years experience in Microbiology. You have to wash your hands. Your salt and pepper containers and parchment paper container are now cross contaminated.

OMG, there was an edit jump after meat handling, she obviously just edited out the hand washing....
Too many eggs
H
Fennel in meat Loaf Ewwwwwww! I hate the taste of it
EWWWW YOUR GROSS YOU TOUCHED THE TRASH CAN AND WENT RIGHT BACK TO TOUCHING THE FOOD !
And she touched the trash can and began cutting the onion without washing her hands.
Is this even meatloaf anymore? Never heard of Mozzarella in meatloaf..
My husband's family is from Italy, in fact his father was actually a cook when he first came here just prior to WW II . I'm sure there's thousands of different recipes for meatloaf.
Boring because it's not pre cut
She is a messy cooker
Tooooooooooo long a video.
Weird.
mixed raw meat with her hands and didnt wash. continues to use salt etc, no hand washing . just sayin
Too much food. I cook for two, not twenty, but thanks for the video.
OMG! Are you from the north? I have never seen such a mess! Where is the green bell pepper? the chopped celery? the ketchup? Nope. Would not eat in my kitchen. Way too la la land.
When I start to see this woman to mix the ingredients without gloves I stopped the video. Normally you must use plastic gloves for this activity.
