This guy thought and seems like he still thinks he is the greatest thing since sliced bread. To have an addiction that once thing but to go to the extent of what he did, come on. He says “have my wife taken from me?” Lol he was cheating on her. What a POS. Glad they through the book at him. Unfortunately his cocky attitude still to this day, doesn’t seem like he learned much. What he should have done right away is put himself in treatment and resign.
Once again, you gotta LOVE ❤Matt's dry sense of humor.
Wow....... amazing story...... great content!!
Idk but I’ve detoxed and I never slept a single minute for months
Sheriff Bradley here in Xenia,Ohio use to have a inmate garden lol
Good or bad, this guy is all too proud to talk about himself. He’s his own biggest fan. He doesn’t feel any remorse for what he did. This is a dangerous personality.
You nailed it,,,
*This!*
Is probably your best episode so far...
_Loved it!_
Dude is a pathological liar.
It dosent comfort me that addiction can touch anyone in any situation- but for some weird reason it makes me feel more human and less alone.
I honestly feel like you could be best friends lmao
Hmm.. Alex Jones?
He dose look like Alex Jones
Right
Sad reality of opiods. They don't discriminate. All walks of life are effected. Yet big pharma and doctors aren't held responsible for the countless deaths
The problem is that everybody is with one leg in jail once you got prescribed the first pill.
We need better research,& treatment, treatment not to just fill peoples pockets, but to help people find a less deadly form of consuming or choose a path to sobriety.
I feel like you two are gonna be besties!! ❤
Great interview brother
Ottawa county Ohio. I live there and know the story and truly enjoy that an addict changed his life around whether one is a cop or a homeless person.
So when was overmeyer sheriff of Ottawa county Ohio?
Hi Matt, Yes Sheriff Grady Judd. Polk County. I love when he said (Graveyard Dead)
Always an interesting interview from 'the' Matthew Cox. Touching story.
First time I’ve seen Cox geek out(talking about paintings).
This is very interesting. I'm At work loving this. Lol.
This was an awsome interview, we need more like this.
Love the live interview great job!
4 years for prescription abuse? Maybe a year in jail but 4 years is waste of tax payer money and his life
What about all the people he locked up while he was a dirty cop?
@@Internal_Investigation cases should be reviewed definitely
They should get little more time then other people since with his job of power they hold him with high expectations. Do that makes sense?
@@Bigboro agree...but should be low for everyone
Honestly I remembering hearing about this guy on the news here in Detroit. Also we have a lees famous recipe chicken here in Plymouth, MI and it is very good. Worked there in high school for two years in the early 2000’s too.
This is one of your best videos!!
Great video
"I just realized that this guy has short arms like me!"
Did we just become best friends? yup!!! (STEP BROTHERS)
Interesting talk! Thanks for the video.
Silver Top in Fremont, Ohio. I grew up there in my younger years. I was best friends with the owners and had the time of my life!
Shout out from Toledo, Ohio. Love the podcast Matt you get me thru the nights at work... Thank you for the content❤
Kyle is actually awesome and should start his own podcast. Sherriff to frying chicken in his town. Dude is cool.
In my case addiction took me .. from pot meth and opiates .. The opiates was the hardest because of getting prescribed them for over 3 years until my surgery . I then got them off family and the streets .. Now clean for months ..we do change is treated like a misconception. I’m wanted to say thank you Kyle Overnyer .. You are a very blessed person to help Substance abuse programs ..
Thank you
Great watch! Glad he bouncig back
Another great show ❤
Matthew the 🐐
Matt looks thick in those tees .
I can see how this guy became a sheriff, he practically has Matt blushing.😭
Quiting that cold turkey is nuts and still worked? Holy cow.
I'm from GA close to Polk FL, the sheriff is great. Wonderful video, thank you
the audio is behind a bit .... unless its on my end. Great episode, i got out of the pen in 2017 and never went back its great to hear about people that come out of it on top and make a good life because its easy to just feel sorry for yourself and sink back into the old life!
Love this one Matt very inspirational
Hilsbrough guy here , I love Gradey. He’s hilarious
Bro , been through the struggle I vote for you
Everything mat does he is good at it
The 2 times I was in Ottawa county jail, both times my bunkie was there for catching to many walleye 🤣🤣 only thing in Ottawa county is amazing perch and walleye fishing and Put In Bay party island. I also got my 4 wheeler stolen right out of my driveway in a rural area.🤔
I grew up in Fremont, oh. This story was huge! Sharing this to my social media for all the home town folks!
