Great episode! Michael must be an incredible salesman. I say this because when he was talking about his business he said he had about 400 of these TV's his company has installed at businesses for free in exchange for running ads in the TV's. I definitely see the upside for the business getting the TV, but for the companies advertising, not so much. Your average Gym, restaurant, bar, may get 30 views per hour at say 14 hours per day = 420 views per day. You can run city specific/zip code specific ad's on Google/YT for 1,000 views for $10 or less. I'm not at all questioning him, just wondering how he makes it work, financially -; especially after paying the sales staff a huge cut?
So we are a volume based business, our average sale is $400 and we close about 20-30 sales every single day. For a local roofer $400 for an ad is pretty affordable so that is how we mainly make our money by selling to multiple new clients every day. We have close to 9000 clients nationwide. I did almost 3 years all together my second trip was married when I went in (all drugs and dwi’s) been sober since I got out and I credit my wife with that 100% for the first couple years it was tough because I’d never existed on the street sober and I’d tell her I’m just gonna have a couple and she wouldn’t stand for it. But she was right I’d probably be in prison now for DWI if I had just had a couple on that day. I’m definitely blessed, she came and saw me once a month kept money on my books, even paid the motorcycle payment. When I got out she said never again. I’ll leave next time and I knew she meant it. Okay so as a salesman in a previous life i feel confident that there is no way that dude was making exponentially more than every other person ever without doing something underhanded lol. Man's gotta lotta friends! To this day.
2:28:00 completely agree with the wife helping keep you accountable. Not worth it!!
Congratulations on your sobriety bro and congrats on having an awesome wife!
@@TimeServedPodcast thank you much, been sober 14 years now!! Married 16 this year

Hey brother! We love the long videos but can you please start adding chapters / time stamps?! It helps us share your content and we don't always have 2-3 hours to watch full episodes to find the partz each subscribed wants to see! Thanks!
Not Jimmy again, dang Jimmy did our buddy Matt wrong....😂
Why are certain drug references like weed, mushrooms etc muted?
Okay so as a salesman in a previous life i feel confident that there is no way that dude was making exponentially more than every other person ever without doing something underhanded lol. I am totally blown away they didn't catch him, or anyone else for that matter, doing anything that got the entire place shut down lol. Also.... he made 180k and went home without any significant savings? My wife would be fired. 😅
Bro your dad taking you around to look for jobs.... man that would've been awesome...... like that kind of support from a father.... man. Dude did a ton of work to become who he is and where he is and i don't want to take a single thing from him....but man....Dad....
Ya man my Dad is a real life super hero, he has stood by my side since day one and without him I would not have made as far as I have. Thanks brother.
