  • WE ATE SO MUCH INCREDIBLE FOOD!!! This video starts out at Greenwhich Market which is a longtime, indoor market with up to 120 stalls for antiques, art & other goods, plus international take-out bites. We enjoyed a Bao bun, Portuguese desserts & an empanada! After a playground break & train ride we made it to Borough Market which is one of the largest and oldest food markets in central London with an emphasis on high quality food, sustainable production and social connection. We tried a dry-smoked salmon bagel, an incredible fruit crumble in a cup from Humble Crumble, a spicy fried chicken sandwich & an Indian dosa!

    I hope a lot of people outside the UK get to see your foodie videos. The 50-years-out-of-date view that British food is generally tasteless and bland is still held by some people!

    FYI, Southwark Cathedral (say "suthark") is where William Shakespeare used to worship while he was working at the Globe Theatre,
    just further along the river. Thanks for the great vlogs, I really need to eat now!.................................................the ancient Englishman.

    You‘re making me so homesick! I’m from Wales but lived in London and I also loved the variety of food you can get - but not the prices! Lol! The tarts remind me of British custard tarts, and the crumble looks so sloppy but your description about the textures is spot on. I think I need to do so Heimat cooking over here…

      Southwark, likewise is suthack, not south-wark! Love your vids, glad you enjoyed London. Next time you’re in town, try some more traditional British / English food, breakfast fry up, pie and mash, Sunday roast, fish and chips.

      And cornish pasties. I fell in love with them in Australia and had them in London and now I know how to make them myself: ) I brought them to a party in Germany with a little sign, "Meat pastries" and they were gone, people just loved them. I saw one guy go back and grab 2 more, I couldn't believe what a hit such a relatively strange food was.

    Well, interesting to see the food story, but the account seems to be now more a food taste account than experiencing different countries and cities. London is so amazing, there is so much history and not only food to show. For me honestly this is getting boring to see 3 videos of food comments from London but nothing else.

    • @OurStorytoTell
      @OurStorytoTell  ปีที่แล้ว

      We appreciate your honesty. Our first video from London was not a food video, but rather experiencing the city in a unique way. We take your comment as feedback because we want to know what our community likes to see!
