    How fun🙂.
When I go to London with my kids, I always use the buses. Most tourists use the underground.. but it is always busy, full and stressful (which as a single mum with 2 kids and a pram was no fun). The normal London buses are primarily used by locals, they are way less full or stressful and you get to see everything (without paying for tour buses. Although I did take my kids on an open top bus tour, with Thames River Boat trip once, just so they had that Tourist experience).
The Pepper Pig bus tour looked magical for little kids 🤗

I miss London, the most beautiful city I've ever been. My first and only trip to London was on June this year to the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty. I am so proud having seen the parade and the celebrations. I immediatly felt in love with this city and England ❤🇬🇧

@@hispanichigehigebandit-6575 London is international and multi-ethnic but it's very English. London is a modern city AND full of rich history. It's very crowded but there are tiny, quiet and green public parks or backyards all over London. You can literally eat all around the world. There are thousands of restaurants. You can see the love for flowers and gardening at almost every house!

Very interesting and I learned something new: had never before heard of Peppa Pig and found out that this British TV series for little children is also broadcasted in Germany under the name Peppa Wutz. Without grandchildren it's difficult to be up to date with children's stuff. 🤣
I wish you a great time in London.

You're in my absolute favourite place! I have lived in London for a year so I'll just give you some tips (that you never asked for but will enjoy for sure)!. Food-wise I can highly recommend checking out Bricklane Market and also Camden Lock (which is super hectic though, same for Portobello Market in Notting Hill, which I still love). But if you make it to Camden, you'll need to try 'Naked Dough', it's the best thing. When in that area, you might want to check out Primrose Hill for incredible views and lots of space to run around for Willa. Also, 'Temple of Seitan' is one of my favourite places to eat, it's all vegan - but even non vegans were pleasantly surprised by their Mac & Cheese. They have multiple restaurants spread across London. 'Franco Manca' - the best sourdough pizza, which I think about every day (and don't understand why they aren't a thing in Germany!) and 'Nando's' is also quite good with kids :)
Otherwise I'd recommend booking free tickets for the Sky Garden and maybe take a boat from Tower Bridge to Greenwich - it's a beautiful area with a great food market! Another free tip is to use the elevator in the Tate Modern to take you up to the highest floor and enjoy the beautiful views from up there😍 Enjoy your time💗

London is my favorite city hands down. I lived there twice growing up (a total of six years - to give you an idea of how long ago it was, there were (almost) no skyscrapers on the skyline. I miss the city and would love to go back some day.
Tanner since you are a big cheese fan, if you get a chance, try a Ploughman's lunch. It is usually a Chunk of Cheese (usually Cheddar), a crusty bread like a baguette, a basic salad and a pickle relish. Although it is typically something you can find in a pub, you might be able to find it someplace else.

I always enjoyed my visits to London (mostly for business - all expenses paid), can't say I enjoyed living there (30 years ago, so a lot of things have changed). Back then there wasn't even a proper airport train to Heathrow and it took ages to get there on public transport. What hasn't changed are the insane prices. Before Corona we were invited to a former colleague's house, who had struck it big, and I was excited to see how the rich live in London. He lives in a "mew" a converted stable. I am sure, he paid a fortune for it, but it was rather tight, to put it mildly. So yeah, I may visit London again, but living there... no thank you.

I think it's so nice that you travel so much, look at so many different places, gain experience and try things out, all as a family. Europe makes this possible and you use it, I think it's great.
And the little lady by your side is probably the absolutely sweetest person I've seen in a long time.
When I watch her discovering and absorbing things, it's so cute and motivating, all the bad thoughts i had before are gone immediately.
Thanks a lot and enjoy your trip.

Nice tour of central London via that Peppa Pig bus! I hope you all have more time to REALLY explore London. I mean, the Tower of London alone is well worth devoting at least a day there (and it has a LOT more than just the Crown Jewels there) since it was a Royal palace, prison, fortress and even ZOO at the very same time and you can even see a bit of the City's Roman Wall there! I wonder if Willa would like or be put off by its Beefeaters. ..and guardian Ravens? Also PLEASE do some research about King's Cross Station which has a LOT more to consider (a Victorian classical train station built shortly after the Great Expedition of 1850) than just Harry Potter ties to it ! Regardless, you got VERY lucky to have had a sunny day for the tour and it was great that Willa was treated to it. Oh, and good job keeping your cool while escorting your wife and daughter on this Peppa Pig bus high tea tour, Tanner!

King’s Cross was beautiful even though we mostly stopped by to see what they had for Harry Potter 😬. We still got to see parts of the station and enjoy a bit of the architecture. Hopefully another time we’ll be able to visit and explore more of the city. Like I said, there’s too much to see in one visit!
