Miranda could you do a pantry challenge for the next 2 to 4 weeks so I can follow along and go back to being plant based on what is in my pantry (mostly the same but i have a ton more for at least 6 months) yeah yea i know people eat differently but
Yes! Love ideas for using up what's already in the kitchen. I'm thinking I might use white beans with chik'n bouillon to make a cream soup base. Then add the gnocchi to mimic chicken and dumplings.
You can mold the parchment paper on the outside of the loaf pan first. Turn the pan over, shape the parchment paper to the pan. Lift the paper off, then flip the pan over and put the parchment on the inside of the pan.
Love to see more of these. Also I dislike Quinoa too. Everytime I make it I can barely get through the meal. Like you I have to use it up so I'm going to throw the rest into soup and immersion blend it. Ugh. lol thanks for the vid
Awesome video! I really like quinoa when it is cooked and cooked as part of a slaw. Usually asian is the route I go with it :) looking forward to trying some of these ideas!
I adore these videos! Yes please to more! I am a canner because I love to do it and the winters are harsh, so I spend the winter mostly eating from my pantry. I usually just do it in the fall with whatever I grow and what I can get in season, but the summers are all about the fresh stuff. Thanks for these wonderful recipes and ideas. Have a terrific week, my crazy funny friend 😂
I love that! I think it’s so valuable for you because you’ve shared that winters where you are are so harsh it’s probably so nice to be prepared and ready so you’re spending less time outside running around!
I feel the same way about quinoa EXCEPT when it comes to salads. Quinoa is the BEST to mix with olives, fresh tomatoes, cubed cukes, cilantro, artichoke hearts, red onion, fresh diced peppers, and whatever else you have. Mix it up with some balsamic, BAM! It's the only way I eat quinoa and I love it
I don't love quina either. I am working on using up a bag by adding a quarter of a cup to soup every time I make it. That way it is barely there, but I am using it up!
I don't love quinoa on its own, but I do like it cooked in with white rice (usually about 1/3 cup quinoa to 1 cup rice). Also giving it a good wash first helps. Loved all these use it up ideas! Thanks Miranda!
Hi Miranda! My vote is for a part 2 as well! Also quick question: do you reuse the veggie scraps for more stock/broth or do you toss/compost them after one use?
I feel 'ya on the quinoa. I love the IDEA but hate the endless flossing & tooth brushing that comes after a tiny bowl of them! There are just so many other grains I actually enjoy, so why bother? If I need them in a pinch, I'll buy them from the bulk bin. That way, I don't end up with 12oz of them living rent free in my pantry for the next 18 months, lol. Your use up idea was a good one!
Could you maybe post some recipes with hidden veggies for picky kids... I love all you videos and always get excited to see a new post. We live in Ireland and your warm hearty stews are amazing and inspiring ❤️🇮🇪
I think yes, but I mentioned it once in a video about rotating stock and a lady ripped me a new one about it so I’m gonna go on pretending that I don’t have a clue🤣🤣🤣 because she acted like the food she had never expired 🥰
My favorite way to eat quinoa is to soak one cup of rinsed quinoa in one cup of water overnight. In the morning blend it smooth. Pour onto Parchment lined baking sheet. Top with everything bagel seasoning or dried herbs and salt. Bake for 30 minutes at 350. Turn over then bake for another 10 to 15 . Use for dipping in hummus or as a Pizza crust.
First of all, you constantly crack me up with your commentary. Second, please help me with making veggie broth or direct me to a video. Bc every time I try to make it, it's got such a funky taste
Should I put up a part two with MORE pantry challenge meals???
Yesss

Good morning Miranda. You've definitely got my vote for part two.
Hey Miranda! Those lids from the kroger peanut butter fit perfectly on Ball/mason jars. 😁

I love pantry challenge videos too! Yes! More, please! Have to try that hummus! Thanks so much!

You encourage me. You are so creative with what you have. Everything looks and sounds so delicious.
Yes. Please make more of these. Love it.

Do you rinse your quinoa well? I find it helps the texture and taste because I struggle with it too.
I do the same thing, I always rinse mine first and I think it helps with the taste as well. 😊

You have really helpful videos....love pantry chef type videos!! Thanks.
Thank you for the ideas!!!! Yes to part 2.
👀👀 part two might have been edited yesterday!
I love use it up pantry videos. They always inspire me to do one. I definitely need to do one now. Hopefully I can work on that tomorrow 🤞🏻
I like to mix some cooked quinoa in with my cooked rice. Also adding quinoa in a soup.
I'm looking for exact recipes for the sweet potato brownies and banana bread
I love 'pantry challenges' and I love your recipe's! Thank you for sharing xx😁
From the Mrs: Great vid! A big yes to part 2 pantry challenge meals.

The cornbread bake muffins look amazing!
They were so good!

Good morning Miranda. You've definitely got my vote for Part Two.
Woohoo! Thank you!
Yes, part two please!
Thank you. Making those brownies tonight. ❤
Just warning you-- they are SO GOOD! And really perfect right out of the oven 🥰😍😍😍
Everything looked delicious, especially the soup & hummus. Will be trying soon. Hope you have an amazing day friend.❤
So so good! Both hubby approved !!
These all look sooo good and I'm definitely drawing some inspiration for this week, thank you! That hummus looks SOOO good 😂💖💖💖
I learn so much. From your videos. Also don’t those prepped people need to use up their items at some point?
I think yes, but I mentioned it once in a video about rotating stock and a lady ripped me a new one about it so I’m gonna go on pretending that I don’t have a clue🤣🤣🤣 because she acted like the food she had never expired 🥰
Quinoa and jazz - one serving (song) and I'm done for a few months.
Yes yes yes on a part two❤ love from Denmark
You got it!! It’ll be up SOON!
Love pantry videos!
I feel the same about quinoa. I keep trying to find recipes to incorporate it, but haven't found one to make me enjoy it. Still searching.

@@jowinder5566 I will surely try this. Thank you.
Ironic - I just put some blue agave in my tea today because I need to use mine up... It was pretty good.
You can buy gluten free gnocchi 😉 I bought some 2 weeks ago. Great video as always!
Parchment paper and I don’t get along either! 😂
10 muffin cups! That happened to me too. SO ANNOYING!
Great video, I don't like quinoa.
Love this style video, thanks for the inspiration!
I eat quinoa only for breakfast. I add plant milk, maple syrup and fruit. I don't care for it savoty.
I think I should try it that way!! It sounds amazing!
@10:09 it's metric 😅
Ohhh! Well that works for me! But also doesn’t cuz my muffin tins are always by the dozen🤣
First of all, you constantly crack me up with your commentary.

Is it an item you’re adding that you don’t love??? Could be the taste issue!
@@flourishingmiranda what do you typically use to make it?
👍
