    Nice! I started making a pair with aluminum insoles from the same etsy seller. The insoles fit fine, but I stopped working on them when I broke my foot this summer. Hopefully I will get them finished when I feel like skating again. Thanks for sharing your process. Now I know that I'll need to countersink the holes.

    This is the fourth video ive watched on mounting Jordans/ air force ones on skates and definitely the best. Every other video was amateur, and didn't use the metal plate - which I wondered from the beginning how I would give the shoe more stability. None of the other videos addressed the flex in the shoe. Yours are the only skates not peeling up off the plate at the toes. Good job. Good video. (The other 3 videos were guys, who talked about how they 'broke up with g.f / I'm so cool / I love myself "). Females bring the best results / knowledge without the drama thanku !

    im not sure if you'll see this but i was wondering how much this whole set up cost you and if slades/flaneurz are worth it

    • @thejoywithin
      @thejoywithin  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It cost around 300$ I bought the slades also but it's not worth it I had to sell them cuz I did not like the plates flaneurz on the other side I recommend cuz you can choose the plates and it's worth it but the prices tag is too high for me

    Use a grinder to form-fit the insoles

    Very cute!!! My mom actually made the aluminum soles herself 😊 How tight are you supposed to screw the wheels on?

    • @thejoywithin
      @thejoywithin  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you I would love to make the soles myself next time 😆 you should not hear the clicking noise when you shake the wheels up and down a tip I learned recently is to spin the wheels and you need to have 8 spin's before it slows down that mean that they are not too tight

    Okay so this is supposed to be a tutorial but normal people dont have that contraption you’re using to find the center 😢 how do i do it without that thing??

    • @thejoywithin
      @thejoywithin  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry I'm bad at tutorials you don't need that ruler you just need to measure the center of the shoes horizontally and vertically that's what the ruler does actually

    • @Wandregal96
      @Wandregal96 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thejoywithin yeah but depending where you measure the middle is always gonna be in a different spot you know what i mean?

    • @Wandregal96
      @Wandregal96 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thejoywithin like if i measure where the heel would be the middle wouldn’t connect to the middle of the toe part

    • @thejoywithin
      @thejoywithin  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha 😂 I do have the slades but making your own pair costs the fraction of the price of the slades it's 140euro to have them Mount without the price of the airforce 😱😆

    • @thejoywithin
      @thejoywithin  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      And the Slade cost 290euro

    If you would of pulled your inside insoles and traced them over a alluminum sheet which is cheap anywhere and just use a grinding disk or aluminum scissors you’ll be straight ma boiii 🧐🙇‍♂️
