Honey, you are an ACE salesperson. Just ordered mine and, now that the snow is almost all melted, I’m super-jazzed to skate in them! Thanks so much for your thorough and thoughtful review.
How do you like your skates? Which style did you buy?
tywerbear I got the Moxi Lolly outdoor complete in Floss, and I LOOOOOVE them. Like skating on clouds!!
I’m getting my lolly’s tomorrow!! So excited to begin this journey after binge watching every episode of planet roller skate haha
Bluepony how long did it take to get? It’s been two weeks for me and still no tracking number
Camille Lajeras mine were pretty fast! I placed my order on thurs march 1st, and I expected weeks to go by, but I got a message on tues march 6th saying that my order had been shipped, and it was set to arrive on friday to florida, but the UPS guys actually delivered a day early, so they arrived on Thursday mid day. And I live outside of the US so I had to book another flight for them to get to where I live. But overall it was still fast, I think it depends in the availability of the color skate/wheel you ordered, my skates are strawberry with pink wheels. I hope you get your skates soon!
Camille Lajeras when did you end up getting your skates? Im in the same position.. I ordered them april 12 and still no email. I’m planning on going skating with friends soon and i want to bring my moxi lollies😭
Hi so you did this comment 2 years ago and I want to know if you know how to roller skate now!?
@@bluepony641 2 year anniversary of your skates being shipped out
Could you do a video on plates/trucks/wheels or skate hardware in general and maybe talk about what sort of set up is best for different types of skating?
Was thinking about getting a pair of these! Until I realised they're almost 300 dollars- ;-;
R Robinbird ikr? That’s so expensive
So, to be honest I wouldn't recommend beginning with the Moxi lolly's because of how expensive they are, you might not like roller skating after trying it for real and waste your money. I bought roller skates on amazon for around £60 and they work perfectly well!
@@Hi-fq9xc which brand of skate? if it's not too much to ask, can you link it?
Faisa Mohamed www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07NQLJNSB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Hope that works!
Edit: sadly those roller skates have gone up in price, but are still worth it in my opinion.
@@Hi-fq9xc can you send me a link for them on amazon?
Just got my Lollies this summer, and they're the most comfortable, versatile skates I've ever owned. I love 'em!
Julie Purpleskater don’t they get gross fast? (It you use them outside)
Fleur van den Bovenkamp peep gwengoolie's channel, she has video on how to clean your moxis
How has it been now that a year passed?
Are they good for light skatepark-ing if you change the wheel? (I want a pair and to wear them at a park for just dropping in and stuff but don’t wanna change the plate)
Thank you. Getting ready to buy my first pair. This was so helpful to me. I will be 50 next year and want to skate my butt off like I used to!
SAME HERE GIRL
Yes!!! I bought mine when I was 49. I've had them 3 yrs and I love them. I'm not as advanced as I was when I was younger but I'm fully enjoying them!!!
What do they do with all the Moxi "M"s? I hope they don't throw them out... they're cute! You could make earrings or pendants out of them. ;)
Julie Purpleskater I have heard that they use them to swatch colours when people want to dye their boots a different colour!
We keep them! You’ll find them all over the place. People have used them for lots of different projects, we takes tons to events, there are bowls full of em at the shop. Lol all sorts of things!
When I was I the shop to pick up my skates, I saw a few and they had a little magnet back! They are the cutest! ❤
+INDY JAMMA “INDY JAMMA JONES!” JONES r they're any size for kids my size is 34,35 plz let me know
@@INDYJAMMAJONES are the moxi lolly skates are for kids im sizes 3
I would love to see a maintenance video! I’ve had my lollys since July and I didn’t start using them frequently until recently. I’ve noticed the bearings have gotten extremely grimy looking and I’m worried i might need to clean or change them. I’ve watched a ton of videos about cleaning bearings but it seems like everyone says something different. Also I realize the boots and wheels will eventually get scuffed up from use but some advice to keep them pretty for as long as possible would be really helpful!! I definitely will invest in some radnuts and toe guards soon though!!
I got a pair of lollys this christmas and I LOVE them. They are worth every penny. Went out and wore them for 6 hours as soon as I got them and it was GREAT. No blisters and super comfortable. Would highly recommend.
Moxi beach bunny and moxi lolly must be compared or else i’m gonna lose my mind
Öykü Kaftanoğlu the beach bunny boot is more stiff since it’s vegan and feels a little uncomfortable around the ankle part. The truck is also super stiff and you don’t really see that in skates. But other than that the skates are good for beginners and they look great. I would say the lolly is for advance skaters and the beach bunny is for beginners
Bibibi Thanks. This helped me a lot cause i don’t even know beach bunny’s vegan feature.
Sofia P the lolly has a velvet texture and the beach bunny is more like synthetic
Öykü Kaftanoğlu also beach bunny’s r manufactured in China while Lollis r made in America
Sofia P pretty sure that beach bunny’s r vinyl texture and these r suede
THank u for the music in the background. I like to watch you when I'm high so the music is super vibing and i get to watch videos about skates. I love skates yayy lol
this has inspired me to skate and try to become more flexible with stretching routines to achieve what these videos have taught me, much love from pittsburgh pennsylvania!
vintage subliminals. i live in pennsylvania too! haven’t found a skate buddy yet though
I recently bought the Lollys and no joke, after wearing them on 3 separate occasions, my right toe stop fell off and my skate got all scratched up in the front because of it. I screwed it back on (tight) and it fell right off again. Now I'm worried I need to spend money on better plates if this keeps happening. I don't want to crash and burn mid skate because of a toe stop. The stock nylon plates they come with are not great quality for the price I paid for the skates imo.
hi what did you end up doing?
Would you not just ask for a replacement/refund?
Oh god I read your right toe fell off!!!!

I care. Happy late birthday

I know your birthday
Charlotte S. Haha happy late birthday hope you had fun yesterday 💗💜
Aw I wish I had watched this a bit earlier to wish you happy birthday 🥺
I just bought a pair of beach bunnies 3 days ago after watching some of your videos! Ive been practicing everyday! Thanks for the great videos :)
your community and your passion made me buying a pair of your skates instead of another brand. and to be honest i am in love! please keep on sharing your impressions and your spirit! you are an awsome and funny group!
Indy what wheels do you recommend for bigger girls 190 lbs and up. I feel like no one really talks about this and the wheels differ for weight. Or can you make a video about this
Adriana Hernandez I have the Moxi leopard Ivy skates with the pink gummy wheels and i weigh about 220 lbs. No problems yet! they roll very smooth, love them. I use my skates both outside and in my local rink if that helps :)
This is a great question, I think the wheels def make the biggest difference in balance if you're a bigger gal. The gals in my classes prefer a smaller wheel to the moxi outdoor wheel. I recommend the red radar energy wheels. I should have them on my site this afternoon!
I bought my first skates from you guys last year around this time. I don't see them on the website anymore (they're white with pink wheels and were only like $100 + shipping) but I love them! They're starting to look a little beat up (my dog chewed on the back of one) though and the wheels are indoor/outdoor so I'm saving up for a pair of the lolly skates! I skate outdoors 95% of the time so it would be nice to have real outdoor wheels + some new and pretty boots
Corona was just the kick I needed :,) I finally decided to get these once quarantine started (I have red boots with purple wheels) and they are my absolute favorite. All I wanted was to pick up a new hobby, but skating has become one of my favorite things to do and I'm really happy with the lollies! SO wonderful..
Just ordered my first pair of Moxi lolly skates!!!! From the uk. I sent back my cheap sport shop to help pay for proper ones. So exited
Just ordered my first pair of midlife crisis roller skates lol. Super excited. Thanks for the great videos.
Nice to see an in depth review of the Lolly, and some background on the company. Had no idea they're made in the US! I'd love to see you review the other Moxie skates too, the Beach Bunny in particular! I went with the Ivy City for my outdoor set because it was the only vegan friendly option my local shop had and I fell in love with the print, but I wish I knew more about them at the time.
When will the yellow ones be for sale 😭♥️ I also made a video this week about my Skate Collection but I sold a pair to save up for some moxi ones ✨✨✨✨ I want some yellow ones so bad ♥️♥️♥️
there's pre-order for pineapple ones now :)
You look kinda like sofie dossi who agrees???
Same but I’m too broke!😭
@Piatequila Lollies are made in the USA. The beach bunnies are made in china.
Janeth Olivia I’m about to buy the pineapple ones they are so cute right!
thank you so much for making this video! I plan on stopping by the shop in a week or so to buy my first pair and I’m super excited! ❤️
ty I m trying to get back into skating , and this video helps so much , I'll be getting a laffy color set soon as I can.
I was sold the second you said Red Wing.
Watching this video yet again because I can’t wait to get some Lolly skates! You all definitely inspired me to get back into skating and so more than casual rink skating. Last weekend I watched all these videos and later in the week I got a pair of Impala Skates and started the 365 Days of Skate. I’m rehabbing from an ACL Reconstruction and I’m sure this’ll be fun plus I want to incorporate skates into my aerial hoop choreography! Thanks for all the inspiration!
Thanks! Now I just need to decide on if I want the taffy or empty pool blue more 😂😂
THIZZorDIEuHUTCH I went with taffy and they are SOOOOOO beautiful!!!!!!!!!
Just went with with pool blue
I GOT TAFFY!!! SHAKE THAT LAUGHY TAFFY!!!
3 more weeks until they come!
I'm Excited!!!
What is the color on the top left called? It’s GORGEOUS and I see people with that color, but it’s not on the Moxi website. Was it discontinued?
my pair is due to arrive tomorrow i've never been this excited in my life!
I just got fuchsia. It was an investment but I love it. Doing spin is so much easier than in a rollerblades. I’ll never rollerblade again 😂 ♥️
I want those pink toe stops lurking in the background!
Can you review the vegan ones???? How do they compare?
I love my dark purple moxi skates!! I bought mine a couple of years ago and they are everything!!! I some indoor wheels so I can skate inside at the rinks. Any suggestions please? I love this video showing the making of my skates!!! Thanks for sharing!!
I emailed their customer service with the same question and they recommended their fundae wheels which can be used for both indoor and outdoor skating. 😊
Hey Indy. I'm a new skater and I love your channel! One thing that I can't seem to get is the cannonball position. Is it possible for you can make a video on tips for getting the cannonball? Anyway keep making your videos you are so inspiring to me! Thanks for being so amazing ❤️
These skates look amazing!!! I have just ordered a pair of the poppy ones, I am so excited!! I have been siting with some really bad quality skates for a while and it’s really hard to do anything with them. I can’t change the wheels, toe stops or anything. Plus they are super uncomfortable. It took a while to convince my parents that I NEED these and they finally let me get them! Can’t wait until they arrive. You guys are awesome!!
soooooo. I bought 460 some dollars worth of green skates. basicly so I have something to do with my wife that she enjoys. my 2 camaros and new Corvette order and then joining the Corvette club she felt like left out.. shed say. let's do everything YOU wanna do. lol
shes the best. well she bought a 300 dollar pair. and i quickly realized my 40 dollar skates are not what I want or need. and I gotta say. now we watch one of you videos every day. and when I wait for my green skates. I hope you are safe from covid19. thanks for not delaying my skates like gm did my Corvette again and again. so with that me n lizzy are in pueblo Colorado. maney when we take my new Corvette down the Pacific coast highway we come by the shop. lol
well. just thought you should know. we are watching and learning. learning in grasss.. awesome way to practice. beats my older brother n his friends convincing me to just go as fast as I can and try.. your safe. n fun I like that.
So I was interested in the purple one I wear a 9 shoe in women’s so what size should I get ??
you should go at least 1 size down! i’ve also heard of people going as much as 2 sizes down and the boots still being loose so it’s all up to you ❤️
Honestly i recommend getting a size down itll definitely fit but you'll have room and it will be so much more comfortable than getting a skate that is your exact foot size
Thanks for answering my question on your last video Indy, I currently have the leopard Ivys and can't wait to get a pair of Lollys!
Guess what!!! I’m getting moxi lollys and they are shipping to me in 3 days! I couldn’t be more excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just ordered the Lolly for my GF. She wanted the fuschia. I'll get video and put it up as soon as I get them and we go skating.
Enjoying my beach bunnies as I learn how to skate. Can't wait to get a pair of Lollys though!
This was helpful for me because I saving up money to buy some
And since I'm beginner and now I know which to begin in
Thanks Indy!
I so happy this video came out! I was looking to buy the Lollys this week.
Question! I live in Washington where it is very wet so I tend to be turned off from suede products. I'm going to be beginning skating and it will be mostly outdoors. While I don't plan on skating in the rain, there may be water on the ground or splashes. Will that be damaging or should I avoid wet ground all together anyway (I have inlines right now and my feet kept slipping from under me whenever I hit a damp part of conctrete)?
Is wheel base important, 3 of my friends bought new skates and they are shorter than the ones used at the local skate place. They are used to the new ones by now. But are their benefits to shorter wheel bases? They can adjust their stoppers, wich is great. How flexible shoud your trucks be, wiggley or soft?
I will need to save up for a set of Lollys. Just got a set of Candy Girls used to ease myself back into skating. I tried roller derby a few years ago, but I stopped due to life and health issues. No more of that for me, just plain old rink skating for me (too old!) Sold off my expensive Riedell Blue Streaks, so if Riedells and Moxies are the same company, they should fit me reasonably well.
I bought mine and got them last week and love them. Everyone says there cute. I'm excited for this week cause I'll have more time to skate. I feel like money well spent.
I'm 43 years old and I want to skate!! Will be ordering soon!!
can you please please please do a video about wheels. Ive been so confused about them and what type of wheels work for different things, also you and the Moxi skate crew have been such an inspiration and now im even more excited for college because im going to an art school in california and hope to visit the skate shop!! ily all so much
If you have a good feeling you will be skating for a while, even if you're a beginner, this is the skate for you! it really does save you money in the long run!
270+ is a lil too expensive for my current financial situation (it'll take me about 22 days of working part time in my country) also now I'm in my igcse year so getting one is probably a bad idea now...
But I'll DEFINITELY get a Moxi when i save up enough money!! Also i heard that some of the Moxi lolly is non-vegan😮
My moxi lolly skates are coming today and I couldn’t be more happy
i love skating! I used a pair for 4 years before finally growing out of them, now they're too small and hurt whenever i skate. But new skates are like $40-200... i wish they were cheaper but i know why they're so expensive :(
I really want the yellow ones but i literally just bought my first pair last summer and i dont think i would be able to convince my s/o that i need more than 1 pair. I LOVE my moxies. I wasnt able to get mine from the shop but a local skate place near me sells them and i went there instead. Hopefully i can go to the shop soon. I dont live that far away. Its about half an hour from where i am. My goal is to skate comfortably and have it be like my second nature. I used to skate all the time and then i outgrew my skates and we could afford to get me a new pair. So after almost 8-10 years im just getting back into it and im not as confident as before. Im so glad that i got moxies to continue my journey though. Definitely the best for me.
There was a video where you and Pigeon compared the Sure Grip Fame to the Moxi Lolly. What happened to that video? There was useful stuff there I can’t find anywhere else.
This video sold me back in May when I ordered! It’s September and I’m still waiting for my order 😄😭
Did you ever get them?
🙋🏻♀️ question! I’m a former competitive figure skater- 5 yrs experience! What would the transition from figure skates to roller skates be like? Is it similar or like learning a new set of skills? Roller skating looks so fun
It's similar but there is a difference in balance. If you know how to skate then you will pick up how to roller skate quickly. It's supposed to be one of the easier forms of skating as there is less exertion required when pushing your legs forward.
Just ordered some Moxi Lolly skates from Planet Roller Skate!! I wish all this wasn’t happening so I could get them sooner I can’t wait 😭
Have you gotten them yet!!
A l sadly no ): still waiting ):
Can you compare the moxi ivy jungle to the lolly?
Ivy feels stiffer and has a metal plate. Lolly has nylon plate and feels like you are barely wearing a boot. It's super soft and comfortable while being supportive. I have both... and love them both. The jungles do feel a bit heavier.
@@jaitay thank you so much!! I think I know which one to buy. 😊😊😊
just got my pool blue moxi last week . skating from San Antonio texas
as a figure skater we need a toooon of support. i mean, advanced figure skates (ex edea) have so much support that they feel like a brick! you can even knock on them and they sound like solid wood. you seem to be doing similar impact tricks (such as the backflip.) so my question is, why do you need less support? im really interested in roller skating during hockey season (we can never get ice time!) and i was really curious about this.
U should have at least 1 mill subs and so many more views u spend so much time and effort to make these videos for people like me, rollerskating beginners I’m on the Moxi page rn and I’m about to get the pineapple lollies! I’m so excited thank u so much you have helped me with my journey and rollerskating has been a very fun opportunity for me. I finally found something that I’m good at so thx so much! :DDDD
I have a question (to anyone who might see this) I got moxi lollys today and when i roll them they both veer off to the left A LOT. Like more than my impalas which I kind of expect it with. Is this always down to the plates being off? I’m guessing I should return these skates? Sorry I’m pretty new to skating but I feel like defective lollys are unheard of and idk if I’m doing something wrong :/ like I can’t even skate in them without my left foot being pulled to the left
I was going to get a pair of Beach Bunnies.. What is the biggest difference between the 2 of them? I figured that would be a good beginner skate.
Theresa Kim the beach bunnies aren’t as comfortable, and are made in China so won’t last as long. But they are a great budget option and have metal plates which is sweeeeet. Unfortunately they are out of stock until May, but the leopard skate is available now if you don’t want to wait. It’s on the home page of planetrollerskate.shop!
INDY JAMMA JONES Are the beach bunnies and the leopard skates the same? Are there differences?
I think they are pretty similar...
I've been using the Beach Bunnies for about a month now and I'd say that once they break in they are comfortable! although probably do not compare to how flexible the lolly must be. I really love the padding in the beach bunny too.
@@INDYJAMMAJONES Do you recommend Impala or Chaya skates???
Can you use these skates at an indoor rink without changing the wheels?
Is there a custom color option, or was that just for team members?
Any recommendations for intermediate skater for speed and jamming backwards?
I still need to learn to skate haha but I'm saving up money to learn on a pair of impalas then when I'm good enough I'm going to save for beach bunnies. Hopefully some day I'll be able to afford lollys. :) thank you, you have no clue how much you inspire me.
Hi does the skates come in wide width. What is the number to the conpany
I’m hopefully getting the poppy Moxi Lolly roller skate for Christmas fingers crossed 🤞🏻
I wish they came in a darker blue😩😩😩.
Your voice so bright^^*happy voice tone 😇💐like a flower 🌸
Love your vids!!!! But can you please do a review on the impala skates as well! And thanks for all the vids and helpful tips!
Are the nylon better than the metal frame
Just curious, I know nothing about skating but I'm super interested, what's the difference between the gummy and the juicy wheels?
What's the maximum user's weight? I've been trying to find out for a couple of weeks now. Help! :)
I wore these skates when I was 250lb and there still kicking 2 years on :) best skates ever! maybe look into upgrading from the nylon plate to a steel plate though if you're worried, mine sometimes bends a bit when I jump or use my toe stops.
I have never heard of a max weight and my friend was 300+ lbs when she started skating! You may want to get smaller wheels becuase the big gummy wheels are a bit bouncy and hard to feel grounded when you are first learning. I thought I replied to you comment on another vid, sorry for the delayed reply!
Awesome! Thank you! :)
Great Question!!!
Thanks!
@@beelzebabe8251 I know I'm late in that thread, but did you keep the original nylon plate or did you change it for an aluminium plate?
I want the pink ones so bad ;-; plus my initials are M.M. so the lil m’s on the boot make me EXTRA biased :’3
I have the yellow ones!!!They are truly the best!!!💛💛💛Im a Moxie girl for life!!! 👯♀️✨✨She is so right about other skates rubbing and causing blisters.😧 I purchased the Sure Grip Boardwalk skates and they rubbed the back of my leg to DEATH.🙅🏽♀️😵 ⚰️ Wish I would have just save and only purchased my MOXIE LOLLY’S first.🎭😞 Oh well you live an learn.🤷🏽♀️ BUT LADIES we all dont have to!!!😝
Thank you for this! These are most definitely going to be my first pair of skates now if they fit me.
I've been eyeing Moxi skates for awhile. This is really helpful. I've never owned derby skates, always seeing myself as more of an inline girl. But, as I've gotten older, I feel like balancing on a single line of wheels is getting harder on my ankles. I would definitely say I am not a big skater currently, since I really don't like going alone to do it and don't have a lot of free time, but I really want to get into it more. Suggestions?
isnt a nylon plate easy to break, idk ive always had that question plss let me knoww
I can't wait to get some Moxi skates! I think i'll get the Moxi Jungle skates (leopard print) ones because they just look so cute and pretty lol
Omg I really want the dark teal pair! I will have to babysit a lot more to get them though haha. I bet they are completely worth it ❤️✨
I already have moxi lollies but i'm watching anyway!
Are they good?
Would the beach bunny be another suitable option for beginners?
You literally answered all of my questions w. this review!!! Btw, Definitely keep mentioning/linking the shop bc I've been browsing for a few months now and the website doesn't appear right off the bat (it's annoying actually). Maybe it's bc I'm on the East Coast? Idk. Love your site, love your videos, you're Awesome!! ! -Nat
Thanks so much! This is good info. Do you mean when you search it you can't find it?
INDY JAMMA JONES For example if I search for "Moxi skates", the website doesn't appear in the feed until the 3rd page, maybe the 2nd page if I use a desktop. If I attach "planet" it's up instantly of course.. maybe it's normal since theres other vendors/shops over here?
Hey there, Indy. I was wondering if theese skates come in kids sizes?
I so glad you did this video. I wanted the beach bunny's but I realize they are not leather. I'm ordering tonight. Thank for your videos.... your newest subscriber 👍🏿
These or the Candi Grl skates? These are more expensive but are they better?
Do the Moxi Lolly's still come with a skate tool when purchased?
Yes
Which are better Lolly Skates or Beach Bunny Skates? Please I need an answer.
These are so amazing!! I want to save up for a pair now, but I’m from NE and it gets cold and snowy for half the year :( would it still be worth it??
Ok now that I know y'all are women owned and made + ethical i have to buy a pair 🥰
I bought my first ever pair today!! 😍
i want the one on the cover, the purple one,but i didnt see it on the website
My skates are kinda falling apart at the moment because I've been skating almost every day so I'm trying to invest in some Moxi's!
I just ordered a helmet and pad set. Any idea when you’ll get the Moxi Lolly in stock? I want a pair soooo bad! Trying to get in shape and lose weight and I think skating will really help me. 2020 was rough on me and my depression is at an all time high 😔 Need me some Lollys ASAP
My size in euro is 39 but I have very wide feet, so should I go for one size bigger or should it stay the same 39/40 size from the scale. My size is 8 from the scale of all sizes, but taking into mind that my leg needs 39.5 in order to feel comfortable in other type of skating shoes should I go for number 9?
would these work on country roads? i live out by farms and such, where the roads are bumpy and pebbled-covered.. i love these skates but i wouldn't want to ruin them
