www.traedrejerbutikken.dk is a Danish webshop. The name means woodturners shop - traedrejer (trædrejer) is woodturner and butikken means the shop.

Love what your doing to inspire fellow artists! As a creative myself I appreciate and have benefited from watching your videos. Seeing your talent, your kind and funny demeanor and your helpful instruction is very motivating to even me as I am not a wood worker. I also have a TH-cam channel. I started it earlier this year and try to inspire or help fellow crafters thru my vidoes. Its quite rewarding to hear when folks watch something you've done and are so thankful. My creative passion lies within home decor and floral arrangements but I enjoy watching all artists create beautiful pieces. I just purchased one of your bowls to use as a feature piece on my dinning room table decor... Can't wait to get it in the mail! Keep up the great work Nick, your inspiring the masses!

You can get a Mandrel that holds them where you drilled the hole then it’s a lot easier. I really love waking up and watching your videos. I am 15 and I’ve been turning for about 3 years I have fallen in love with this craft. So thank you for making your videos.

Hey Nick, another great resin vid. Just for more suggestions; get a piece of 3/8 all thread or a long 3/8 bolt, cut about 2" of thread off and chuck it up in the lathe which will give you access to the whole blank at once. You may have to use your center for the heavy turning but overall it's certainly the easier way for bottle stopper turning. Keep waffling on. Russ in Knox PA.

Hi Nick, if you don’t have a bottle stopper mandrel you can cut the head off of a bolt that is the same size thread. Thread it into the blank put the bolt in the chuck and turn away. Great vids.

For even clearer looking epoxy resin finish try wet sanding (up to 12,000g even). Epoxy doesn't like the heat build from friction so the wet takes care of it. You know it's to warm when the epoxy turns white when you're sanding. Awesome job! Nice wood.

Another great project Nick! Adding the pigment to a stir stick instead of directly to the resin can help get a brighter, more balanced color, just like you did on the amber one...
As an idea, maybe something with Micarta? I like the idea of tap handles, especially if you stacked a bunch of paper with the same design so it would show a picture I'm there final product...

In reference to your aim to keep doing videos on different things. This is my current list. I have done some and not others yet. I’m not working through them in order. Would be interested to see your version of a few. The urn was a great aunt - a celebration ornament rather than a mournful jar.

    Hey Nick
I know you said you don't know if you will make anymore but..... they do make bottle stopper mandrels. So you can thread the blank on, turn, and finish the blank all at once. So if you decide to make more get you want to be a little easier on yourself.

I agree Nick, I like the red/orange one better as well. Being able to see the wood inside the resin is quite beautiful. With a bright enough light you can probably see inside the blue as well. the blue just got so dark with only one drop of dye. maybe you might need to mix it like you did the red, put the drop on the stir stick and just touch it here and there? they are both quite nice though.
