    That was cool. I watch a lot of videos of people doing things with resin, but I think that might be the coolest effect I’ve ever seen with resin

    You can make a nice birds nest from the long fibers of plastic. Maybe take those and put them in colored resin and see what gives. Nice mug!

    Wow Nick that piece is so beautiful. As you were turning the lid topper I was thinking about the giant marbles I use to have and play with when I was a child. Thanks for bringing back happy memories.

    I just thought I'd mention, you do an EXCELLENT job with sound. So many videos have the sound of turning too loud or the music, then their voices are quiet. I have to constantly mess with my volume. When I set your voice to just where I want it, the rest of it is a great volume to fill in background. And the music and amount of turning noise is perfectly balanced with each other. :)

    One good thing about having insomnia and living in the states! Get to be one of the first to watch Nick's work!
    I don't know what else is good about it... Don't think there's more than one amazing things about insomnia now that I think about it.

    This turned out fantastic! I love it, especially with the led light inside. You’re absolutely right, the little pink bauble was cute but the resin turned out waaaaaaay better. Amazing!

    I really like this project! It's kinda like you mimicked the pattern in the wood but in resin instead. They actually compliment each other well.

    Would love to see what a long cylinder of resin done that way then highly polished the way you did for the handle on a beautiful wooden base with a couple high intensity lights in it. It would capture the light amazingly I believe.

    My dad plays with resin a bit and recently discovered that acetone really helps shine it up with the micromesh sand paper.

    Kaleidoscope!! That is gorgeous! I need a set of those in different sizes. I'll give them to my daughter as canisters for her kitchen. Even make a couple with the wood as the handle and the kaleidoscope as the bottom. I love your videos. Looking forward to the next 😊😊

    This combo is 👌 it Gave me the idea that you should make a kaleidoscope! Make a wooden handle/area to hold then make a resin ball similar to what you did here on the end. Then secure it in a way where you could look through it like a kaleidoscope!

    Beautiful work! As you were working on the lid, I had the image of the entire box as an oil lamp. The top finial in the shape of a flame would have been beautiful, especially done in colored resin.

    Wow, this is one of the coolest ones I've seen you make, I don't have a lathe yet being a disabled Veteran (limited funds), but you are definitely a great inspiration for what type of stuff I want to try when I get mine

    A little bit of some good advice NZ, adjust the volume level to where it doesn't hurt the viewer's ears for the ones using earbuds or headphones

    I love the shape of the box and the casting is beautiful -- makes me think of a magnetic field. The wood appears to be lacewood. Or oak. Or not. Perhaps. Thank you Nick!
