Hi when i install mount efi and i run the program when pressing my mac os drive it says: There is no EFI Partition associated with that disk. I think it has to do with the fact that i should have partitioned the disk or something but i followed your video and i didnt see it. Trying hackintosh on a kaby lake i7 7700hq laptop. Have you got any idea of what should I do? (Thanks in advance)
Hey - for opencore intel hack currently running imac 20,2 on ventura 13.6.7, if i do the sonoma upgrade which wifi card is best to purchase for compatibility?
You might need to change boot order in your bios. Set it to boot from external USB first then your efi partition. There should also be a way to override default boot options at run time. Usually F10 or F12.
Does the animated background not work on a cold boot? I am able to see the animated background when I login in and it goes to the screen saver, and the wallpaper on the desktop does change corresponding to the screen saver.
Does this have to be done immediately after install in one step or is trial an error okay here? I’ve redone my config making only the changes needed for this but I’ve made a few mistake and I’m thinking maybe I should do fresh install with the edit completed and try again?
If Sonoma is already installed, then you can just update your config on your usb and boot the same installation with the new config to try to get other things working. Make sure to always take backups of your EFI folder in case something goes wrong and you cant boot or something. Once you get a working boot with everything you want enabled, then you can move the EFI to the boot disk EFI partition. Then after that I would turn off debug mode and add the graphical picker etc. Hope this helps... enjoy!
Will this work with a 6700k gygabyte motherboard lg1 gaming mobo /2080 super graphics card and 32 gb of ram? Windows 10? Never mind it doesn’t work with intel cards
I think Hackintosh seems a great idea until there's a security update which means having to uninstall your Hackintosh (losing all of your files in the process) and doing it all over again.
Can confirm this works on macOS Sonoma 10.14.7 as well. Thanks very much.
Great video ,thanks so mach...
Clean and clear! 😊 thanks
I did not notice you mentioning it in the video if the I-specific (iMessage and such) work even the wifi is working, so do these work?
Yes so long as you properly set your serial numbers correctly. WiFi requires oclp
Hey, what broadcom wifi card do you use? i would like to install one into my AMD Hackintosh. I have thought about a Fenvi T919
Yup t919

Make sure you partition your main boot disk as GUID partition map, and not MBR
If the disk is MBR you should be able to convert to GUI without losing data.

As far as I know you’ll need OC legacy patcher no matter what. Works on my fenvi t919.
ive done all the steps but when i boot opencore menu my usb (external) isnt found and only windows option is shown
Hit spacebar.

Do you know if it works with FENVI WiFi 6E Intel AX210 PCIe Wireless and if not would it work with Ventura?
I don’t know, but you could check dortania buyers guide

I’m not too sure . I think it does whatever Apple told it to do.
Not all the wallpapers are animated. Also some of them change very gradually.
can you please make a video about dual boot, windows and hackintosh, on separate ssd
Sure. Install windows first or disconnect macOS drive if installing windows second.

@@Studio3BRocks I did it, Simply just installing windows on separate ssd. Thanks for the reply. ❤️

Check the dortania guide
Intel network hardware can run up to Sonoma with openintelwireless kexts. Sequoia isn't ready yet.
Hii, i have a mobo Asus prime h410m-e and intel i510400 with igpu, but when i boot the usb, only appears windows, not the sonoma install
Choose the correct boot device
Press space and the other options should pop up
Press space and it should show the other options, from there, just go to ur opencore drive
@@miyoubi Hi, im writing this comment on Ventura 13.6, i alr solved, tysm for ur time

Not true
@@Studio3BRocks Really? I've tried Hackintosh for 2 months and never found a video that explains how to do incremental updates lol
You just do them. Most updates don't impact the root patches. And the root patches can just be rerun after any major update to repstch the kernel.
