I’m on Sonoma 14.4.1 with open core patches I have WiFi, Bluetooth, airdrop, airplay and continuity. Backups were fine with my Time Machine ssd as well. With a z790 Asus tuf, 14700k, ddr5 and rx 6800 xt.
Well..we are close in all spare parts...but? Which wifi do you use? I use the built-in motherboard Gigabyte Z790 AORUS Elite AX...everything is good except for airdrop and sleep
@@TravisFoster-l5t fenvi hb1200 and oclp patches. Only downside is having sip disabled so for macos updates you'll either need to revert patches before updating or add boot arg revpatch=sbvmm
@@mohammedjasaam I disable the onboard Intel wifi and use the fenvi hb1200 with oclp patches. You'd have to remap USB ports to get it to recognize the fenvi (that had me scratching my head for a few days). No kexts are needed either.
I used to run a hack, but the wifi card stopped working if I upgrade beyond Catalina as it was not supported. Now if I want a computer with free OS, I use Linux and it would do most of what I need out of the box. I have also bought a Mac Mini with the M2 pro chip for the best bang for bucks to run MacOS.
I just give up, I can’t get anything to work on my 13700k ASUS Z790-A Pro WiFi… I need a working EFI. My GPU is an amd rx 6800xt oh and DDR5 6000 mhz ram
I haven't used my hackintosh since 2015. Windows does everything and always has. I only used hackintosh because I was part of the team that was working on it.
I'm on Sonoma 14.0. I need to update go to a never version but when it's checking for updates under settings -> general it claims I'm on the latest version. Why's that?
You will not stop PC people ,even with Apple's overpriced nightmares..I actually saw someone comment on your grammar/choice of words while the subject was installing an OS...like the attention span of a rock...
But what if you're online installing? Instead of disabling the kexts for the Installation you could also just download newer versions like the Intel Airportitlwm kext, there is a version for Sonoma 14.4 and i had the same issue after updating from 14.0 to 14.4.1 and when i was at the login screen the whole system would froze fixed it with the Airportitlwm kext for Sonoma 14.4 and that also works when you're installing and you are trying to online install.
I can't dictate text on MacOS 14.4 & OCLP 1.4.2 on my MacPro 5.1(2012). 😑 Microphone and Siri work. But text dictation works on MacOS 14.3.1 & OCLP 1.4.2. 😀
you know why is over because is would put them over windows which will harm mac because they would has more proifts now because windows 11 giving ads on paid windows installers
no only the rx 5000/6000 series will work with older rx 500/400 cards work aswell if you got a spare pcie x16 slot operating at x4 or x8 or even x16 u can buy a cheap rx 580 and that will be perfect :)
