Agreed, however all SiO2 isn't the same and finding the products that really stand out from the others is like my mission lol. So far High Gloss, Cosmic Spritz, Viking Spritz, Tac Systems Aqua Waterless Wash, Adam's Ceramic Boost and even their Ceramic Spray Coating all get thumbs up from me :) sure there's more but those are a few
Brian...do you consider this to be more of a standalone form of protection, or would you consider it as more of a topper to use on top of a Ceramic Wax like Adam's, Ethos, Meguiar's, etc.?
A lot of these new products are way better at gloss, durability and slickness than many top line products of a few years ago. There comes a point that you don't need to spend a ton of money to achieve a good finish.

I put this on my yukon 10 months ago and wash once per week with autofoam prewash and onr as my soap and its still going, longest lasting non coating I've ever used and I've used a lot of products.
Way better test than others . I jumped on the TW ceramic based on other reviews it was total trash for me put 2 layers did the whole process and only lasted 3weeks max.i got better performance from car pro reload .I live in Houston tx . I'm going to give griots a try.

Hey Brian, I was curious with a lot of these spray product reviews, if it's possible to weigh the bottle before and after a car's worth of application, just to see how much product you're using and how many cars/coats a various product would treat. Then give it a cost per oz "bang for your buck", with the scale you get hard numbers!

We saw this sealant on a german detailing channel (AUTO-LIFESTYLE), but unfortunately we can´t buy this in Germany. As you already mentioned it´s such a great product. I've been using this ceramic wax for more than 6 months. I apply it every other month and use their Rinseless Wash & Wax every week. I am extremely happy with the results and my neighbors want to know how I keep my car finish looking like glass.
Your testing is great! Could you please consider adding some sort of a dust attraction test? Most waxes/sealants attract ALOT more dust than no coating at all, which makes it sort of counterproductive for SUVs that go offroad, at least for those who cant wash their car regularly themselves (living in apartments/big cities).
Guys, please do not spray this product directly on the panel. It will spray everywhere and you may miss to buff off the overspray area. Spray it on the towel and spread it on the panel. Brian, what's the buffing towel you used in this video?

Trying it on my 2018 f150 now so far so good. Have to put the second coat on. Works good on chrome and some plastics. Only have to do wife's truck and her sisters car.😠
Im old school. Been using Turtle wax product s over 50 years. In my opinion, the cheap $6.00 Turtle wax soft paste is all you need. Goes on easy and nice shine and paste wax protection. I have their newer products that cost more, but to my eyes, I don t think the result is worth the extra money. Im sure they are all good products, but for me, I stick to old school, and by the way.....rain is very much repelled. Just my opinion.
By far the best wax ive ever used yet. Super hydrophobic. And i took my car offroading deove 500 miles in 2 days. Washed it. And it still beads the same. Just went to the store one day to get supplies for detailing and just wanted another ceramic wax and this outstood the other ones I have. Every other one I used inclyding seal and shine and chemical guys hydro slick stopped beading after a few weeks. And I'm in seattle where it rains 24/7 I applied it on top of my 845 insulator wax. ive been waxing my car every month cause nothing really lasts in Seattle. I plan on doimg full ceramuc coating and then maybe apply the 3 in 1 on top.
All cars look good under shop florescent lights! Just used this for the 1st time on my CTS. Will see how well it holds up under the Texas sun in a few weeks.
Older video, but this stuff holds up in real life better than most spray sealants I’ve tried. Seal and shine aces these panel tests and then lasts 2 weeks on a car outside. Kind of unfortunate
Agreed Tyler; it seems to be the most durable and easy to use at a lower price point. I’ve seen some reviews of other stuff that will also last at least 6 months but they have all been at a much higher price point.
I have been looking for some other Hybird Ceramic Wax. Been using Meguiars Ceramic Hybird wax. But I thought there might be something better. I think I will try the 3 to 1 green wax. Want a better shine too.

Then other side with other. To compare water sheeting, application of ease and shine! They both do what they say they will do. But THE Meguiars Ceramic Hybird wax is still King! The price and application and shine are AWESOME. The big winner is the wax LAST a long time on my car. Shawn
I use this and their ceramic speed shine. My truck has had a ceramic coat so it's more of a way to make my ceramic coating last. But i wash about once a week. After i dry i wipe with the speed shine than go over with the wax.

I use a foam cannon with Griot’s Foaming Surface Wash and Foaming Poly Gloss after. Should I apply this after the Poly Gloss or skip that step entirely and just use it after the wash?

What microfiber pfm would this be? Having trouble with the wipe off on a few cars, not sure if the car just needed to be polished before application or the type of towel I’m using. I’ve tried spraying it directly on a panel instead of an applicator and it worked a little better. The applicator seemed so ideal to me for coverage but it kept streaking. Keep in mind I’m mobile but i do have a 15x20 canopy to get the panel in the shade before applying.

I’d like to know the percent sio2 in these spray coatings. Is 5 or 10% effective at all? I emailed TW asking about the concentration of sio2 in their spray ceramic. Reply was it’s proprietary. Well, that’s no help. Could be 1% for all I know. So, Brian, what’s your opinion on that?

They work and most are easy to apply so the more the merrier. It will bring the cost down for us

Your supposed to let the spray cure for 12-24 hours without moisture hitting the vehicle

This product is not designed to clean your paint, you should at least wash the vehicle before application.
After curing can you apply a layer of wax on top or is it not necessary?
