    The X3 is a really versatile car..Quick, refined, really comfortable and spacious! Would you get one? Or maybe you already got one?

    Best video yet!! Need to do more of those reviews..also loved the Roadtrip segment - and especially Burgas - looks beautiful and I never knew it existed. Keep it up

    Great video, I’m watching this the night before I go and test drive what I hope is my X3 for the next few years. Also just realised that some of this was shot in good ol Bstoke 😂👏🏾. Love to see it.

      Thank you, go for it! M40d is a wonderful car, great engine, plenty of power and super fuel efficient!

    You should have driven through Romania, cross the Danube into Ruse then Burgas, it's a shorter route, and much shorter border waiting time.

    • @PeteDrives
      @PeteDrives  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fully right!! That's what we did on our way back after getting 'burnt'.. Romania rules, €3 for the vignette too, it's a bargain..Have you been to BG?

    Hi, im just wondering if you apply headlight sticker during these trip? Please let me know. Ty

    • @PeteDrives
      @PeteDrives  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You don't need to, if you have LED headlights.
      If you have xenons (at least for BMW), there are levers behind the headlight which where you can adjust the beam).
      if you have halogens, then you should apply stickers so you don't dazzle other traffic. :) I spent about 1hr on a petrol station in Belgium trying to adjust the xenons on my E46 the first time I did this trip back in 2016..It's actually quite simple once you find the lever and you know how to do it.

      Appreciate so much for getting back to me. I have 69 plate X3 with adaptive BMW LED headlight similar to your 21 plate X3. I pressume i dont need to add sticker nor adjust any levers anymore. We are having a family tour next week a shorter version of yours. Thanks for inspiring me. Great video👍

      @@glxestoya Glad I could help. No, you don't need to adjust it. Does it have option 552 (Visibility Pack as I assume you're in the UK too?) or just the standard Adaptive LEDs?

    • @glxestoya
      @glxestoya 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@PeteDrives yes i have visibility pack and im from UK… starting our journey tonight. Thank you for your help, much appreciated👍

    • @PeteDrives
      @PeteDrives  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@glxestoya If you have the vis pack, you can adjust your headlights from your iDrive Menu (General => Lights => Exterior Lightning), it was somewhere in there I think. I think all this does is it basically disables your high-beam assistant where it splits the beams when it sees oncoming traffic etc. I don't think it actually changes the beam pattern at all so I never used it..

      Yeah, but sometimes you just don't have a choice..Also BG < Serbia > Croatia has also been very slow for me in the past, but yes nowhere near Hungary < Serbia > Bulgaria. Travelling again in a few weeks and will go through the beautiful Romania.
