Hello, no issues with the automatic transmission at all.. I got it serviced at 400,000km last yeear. Still going very strong. :) The only thing it has is that it doesn't engage first immediately, when you put it in D. But this is a typical issue with those cars. Not worth replacing the gearbox though.

Having had both and having driven most engine variants, I would recommend you get a G20. Yes, it'll cost a bit extra as it's the current generation of the car but honestly, the difference is nigth and day. You should drive both and see for yourself :)

Hey man, still got the car. 402k km on it today :) I actually filmed a video of me servicing it due to the occasion but need to edit it soon. Just check service history and ensure frequent oil changes (1 year/10k km). Mileage is not a problem for these if looked after well. I had it since 270k km really and we've done over 130k km on it in the last 6 years.. I'll never sell it!!

I do have some day content too, just need to edit it. :)

Nothing unusual, a normal lapel microphone inside the helmet..it's not a particularly expensive mic either - just a reugular cheap eBay mic.. :)

I wouldn't say so, I think the 525d is basically the same hardware with a slightly different software configuration.. My weapon of choice would be the 530d for sure, the 6-cylinder is worth every penny.

Haha, that's quite funny.. I'm not really sure, maybe take it to a dealer and get them to have a look at it? I don't remember mine being particularly stiff like that. I think 1-->2 is always a bit dodgy but after that it should be okay..

Pricey to fill up as the tank is quite large but the fuel consumption on mine was awesome, I would average 45-50 MPG even with frequent spirited driving.

I don't have it anymore sadly, currently don't have a bike. I loved the F900 XR, the only thing I didn't particularly 'love' was the seat..as that wasn't the comfiest on longer trips, other than that, the bike was great and I loved having it!

The F90 M5 is xdrive but it has a RWD only mode..then sliding is very easy with 625 hp to the Rear wheels.

I think in total, it's 6 different colours and then 5 additional ones with a white accent. So 11 options in total.

Yeah, but sometimes you just don't have a choice..Also BG < Serbia > Croatia has also been very slow for me in the past, but yes nowhere near Hungary < Serbia > Bulgaria. Travelling again in a few weeks and will go through the beautiful Romania.

No worries - the headlights on this bike are really good so well worth showing :)

Thank you for the nice comment. Consider subscribing :) Ref. The headlights, I think the regular LEDs are perfectly adequate. They are adaptive too and turn as you sterr but don't split the beam. That's the big advantage of the laser lights. Also I really prefer the look of the lasers to the standard lights and I think that's what it comes down to. The standard LEDs are quute bright so you won't have any issues or regrets, but the laser lights optically look better and you get the auto high-beam. But they aren't cheap( I had them on my G20 which has the same headlights as G22 ultimately and I absolutely loved driving at night. Hope this helps :)

@@losangeles.ie91 I haven't sat in the '22 one but I have in the '21 one..and that thing rattled a lot..leather was artificial and there were a few other things which you wouldn't expect from a Mercedes-Benz in my opinion..

You don't need to, if you have LED headlights. If you have xenons (at least for BMW), there are levers behind the headlight which where you can adjust the beam). if you have halogens, then you should apply stickers so you don't dazzle other traffic. :) I spent about 1hr on a petrol station in Belgium trying to adjust the xenons on my E46 the first time I did this trip back in 2016..It's actually quite simple once you find the lever and you know how to do it.

Appreciate so much for getting back to me. I have 69 plate X3 with adaptive BMW LED headlight similar to your 21 plate X3. I pressume i dont need to add sticker nor adjust any levers anymore. We are having a family tour next week a shorter version of yours. Thanks for inspiring me. Great video👍

@@glxestoya Glad I could help. No, you don't need to adjust it. Does it have option 552 (Visibility Pack as I assume you're in the UK too?) or just the standard Adaptive LEDs?

@@glxestoya If you have the vis pack, you can adjust your headlights from your iDrive Menu (General => Lights => Exterior Lightning), it was somewhere in there I think. I think all this does is it basically disables your high-beam assistant where it splits the beams when it sees oncoming traffic etc. I don't think it actually changes the beam pattern at all so I never used it..

I haven't ridden the F850GS so can't comment. Definitely prefer the F900 XR looks wise. My Learning bike was an F750 GS which was pretty good but I prefer the F900 XR - it's just in a different league when it comes to looks..Only the S1000 XR looks sexier in that segment, in my opinion.
