It is always enjoyable listening to Sam’s interview’s, Yesterday i watched a Remarkable movie “To Olivia” One of the best I have seen in a long time, the superb acting skills of the prestigious Hugh Bonneville and Keely Hawes as Roald Darhl and Patricia Neal was ‘Phenomenal’ Sam Heughan played a short Cameo roll as Paul Newman in the concluding part of this very sad but true story, which would be the start of a long term relationship between himself and Patricia Neal, I thought Sam’s portrayal of Paul Newman was excellent and did him justice, a movie worthy of an ‘Oscar’ in my opinion! 👌 my next exiting block buster of Mr. Heughan’s will be a Mother’s Day gift! ‘S.A.S Red Notice’ Cheers 🥂

@sam heughan Sam , I have seen Game of Thrones and I have seen Outlander . And I can tell you: I loved Jon Snow or Kit but I love more James Fraser or Sam. You are great, Sam. And I wish you to be happy ! Thanks to you I am happy. Me and everyone who watching Outlander. Caitriona is fantastic .And I think your meeting was providential. You had to be together no matter how. Me too! My Octopus Teacher was really well done documentary and so sad…..
I'm actually glad he didn't get a part in Game Of Thrones. They killed off nearly all the major players in that in disgusting and horrifying ways. Even as well as we love Outlander it would have been tainted for Sweet Sam to have been chopped up by nasty zombies or flung out moon windows a mile up to splat on the rocks below.
I can see it now-- "See that gorgeous creature running his tongue up Claire's neck while whispering that he loves her so much he can't breathe? Yeah, he's the same guy they nailed to a tree and three-eyed birds ate him." or "He's the guy that got squished between the toes of a dragon then they wallowed on his innards and slept on his bones." While we're hearing him say "If I need guidance, I'll ask." we would be asking "Isn't that the guy who got his kneecaps chopped off by crazed dwarves and then someone made sandwiches out of him?"
No, the flogging scene and what happened at Wentworth were bad enough. We're better off never having to remember our dashing Jamie being swallowed by giant sand worms (oops, wrong movie) or having that beautiful face cut off by nameless sociopaths.
I for one hope to see him live to great old age at Lallybroch, still admiring Claire's firm round arse (even though it's saggy and wrinkled at that point) and glad to never have seen his beautiful but gory corpse being toasted as a cru d' te for big lizards.

Sourdough is a technique not just ingredients. Newbies at breadmaking should always start with no-kneed English muffin bread. Makes outstanding toast and the only thing that ruins it is too much yeast. With sourdough you're making a life-long commitment to a jar of fungi spores that make YOU feel the guilty failure every time IT decides to suicide (or invite in questionable relatives).

Movie making term. No matter what happens, who walks by wearing what, don't change your facial expression, laugh or react. Pretend you're a corpse. Catriona can't be a corpse. She'll laugh at anything. Sam's staying straight, keeping his face in character and Catriona is giggling and snorting into his shirtfront.
I have heard a little rumor (started by Catriona herself) that she ends up giggling all the time because Sam does silly silent things to set her off all the time. Even when he doesn't, she expects it and starts laughing.
In one out take (part of the wedding night scene I believe) you can hear a director whispering instructions to softly touch her breast. He starts out with fingertips up by her collarbone, feeling her skin like it's amazing, before sliding his fingers downward. The director curtly says "breast!" He gets the tiniest evil grin and murmurs "Aye, trust me. I know what it is."
That one likely caused a spate of uncontrolled laughing.

I like Kelly for being so real!!! Sam is nice to look at, workaholic, not a brother to Kaitriona Balfe & for some reason he says To be honest several times in any interview. Why is that? Does it mean he’s otherwise dishonest? Drives me nuts
Just a speech habit, like a lot of people who say "ya know" or "um" a lot. I listened to a college educated football player say um between nearly every single word. Very tedious to listen to. Hopefully, someone will point out his habit to Mr. Heughan and he will learn not to do it.
