All these things will carry him a long way and he deserves all the success he's rightfully getting.....and he's made a scotch drinker out of me even though I'm unable to get his Sassanack whiskey in North Carolina...im half way through the book and it's a hoot...talk about the odd couple. He's adorably funny.
I can't remember the last time it any time that such an incredible actor or such a beautiful man, instde and out, has litterly taken the the world by storm, and given us such a relief from this Covid mess we are in. He litterly transports me through the stone to give me the feel of actually being there with him Yes, I am absolutely, addicted with Sam as Jamie, and Sam as Sam!! I think we all wanted to know just how a person can handle scenes like the ones at Wentworth, I personally could not watch it, I tried, and it was making me sick to my stomach and I realized I just didn't need that. I like to re-watch the parts that I enjoy, but I still fast forward through the parts I can't handle. I guess I wasn't surprised that he didn't really have an answer for the question of HOW an actor can get ready for that kind of part. IT was way too realistic, to sadistic and even scary to think there are actually people that vile in this world.
We have no idea what that behavior is like until you actually see it! How traumatic it must have been! It takes a great actor to be able to act a scene like that!! Yes he should have gotten a Grammy for it! I don't think anyone could do it without out leaving a profound effect in your life! Hats off to Sam for superb acting! He is a good actor and would make an excellent James Bond!
The scene where Jamie is being whipped, and blood comes out was very realistic. Then the rape scene with his hand being nailed to the table. It's like your there and you saw it happen right in front of you. You can't help but love Jamie's character.
