Catriona is fantastic. Watching her act is an absolute pleasure. She is always Claire, never falters. And she's one of those rare actors who can show so much emotion with facial expressions without looking like she's doing it. Yes, that makes no sense but another actor probably knows what I mean. Those first seasons had so many incredible actors.

Making it all so real Jamie and Claire are so real and their love tangible. It’s hard to see we’re the acting starts and the individual separate. In my head they are together in real life as they act together so well. A thank you to the whole cast you have been fabulous not forgetting the crew and catering plus costumes. So many wonderful people to make the finest series ever.

Caitríona Balfe (Claire) has the magical, eyes that sometimes dance, and sometimes wage war. And of course Sam as Jamie. Graham McTavish as Dougal MacKenzie, Stephen Walters as Angus Mhor, and Andrew Gower as Prince Charles Edward Stuart were just a few of the many less prominent actors I really enjoyed. Angus" death at Prestopans was heart breaking. I also really liked . Superb casting. This is why there should be an academy award for casting director.
The gals Cait & Soph not able to nap between scenes?? OMG ladies, that's 😢 but wigs & corsets 12-15 hours a day has to be so uncomfortable! And the antedotes about the kids screaming & crying during active takes was funny 😂 Sam & Cait cracking up at losing their lines is always hilarious 🤣
I just cannot believe they will end with season 8 since the 10th book isn't done yet. Maybe...they are giving DG time to finish it and will announce "one more season" ??
My top five are Murtagh , Young Ian, Master Raymond and Kaheroton, and Roger . Its a fantastic cast they are all really good , one of the most poignent and well acted scenes of all was Braeden Clarke as Kaheroton in the scene where his sister climbs into the fire and he picks up her child .
I think the most interesting character in Outlander is Roger. He was most certainly the “accidental tourist” of the whole saga. Following Bree through the stones (who he really didn’t know well at all) and getting immediately outcasted for several months before his imminent rescue took a lot of courage, determination and faith. I marvel at the hoops he’s had to go through and continue to be intrigued with his story line. This is not to say that I don’t love Jamie and Clare- after all there would be no story without them!
There all excellent but no one compares to Sam Heughan and Katrina Balfe. Love them both. They make it look like they belong together. Wish they were. ❤🎉😅😅LA

Cast outstanding with exception of Briana ( Sophie Skelton). Can’t imagine why someone with so little acting ability was cast except if it was a favor to someone who invests in production.
