People have actually took their own lives because of how overworked we are because there is this misconception that it takes seconds to make CGI. If that’s not a good reason on why it matters I don’t know what else to tell you.
@@Max-bu5ky Oh so you are same that guy that's been crying about this topic in several other comments, and yet your channel is empty with nothing to show "vfx artist" or would I rather say "random professional victim"? Watched the film last night and Fede used CGI as it was always supposed to be used by cinema. As a make up tool for real things and not the whole final fucking product on your screen. The movie is awesome, really really good tbh and NO, it doesn't need a full CGI xenomorph to thrive. You just remember "vfx artist" there was a time where none of yall where needed in Cinema, so do not overestimate your value.
@@fractalized3 Oh, right, you must be the same guy who's been bitching to me on my other comment about whether or not I'm a "VFX artist", and I'll say again I ain't giving people like you any of my details. Also, regardless if you think I'm a "VFX artist", artist or not doesn't take a fucking professional or genus to know VFX or, as you put it ", CGI", which, believe me, or don't, we never actually say the term in the industry other than to people who have no clue is in a lot of different media. Do something productive, mate, and do some basic research on the topic before giving a brain-rot answer. The information is available, or you can be gullible and listen to the marketing team for information. Alternatively, you can just continue to send salty comments. You choose what you think is more productive.
"Avoiding CGI" stop the lies, everybody knows it by now its a marketing fluke for the idiots who dont appreciate cg and the work it does. just give credit to your vfx team i promise it wont hurt
Nobody wants to see a CGI alien… ❌ and thank god we don’t get one!!
@@martymcfly4447 there is most definitely CG in the xenomorph and the facehuggers, either to enhance, like adding a tail, or to completely replace the puppet. There are great puppets too , and they did shoot with actual puppets and sets, we should absolutely highlight their work too, but that doesn't mean it won't be replaced by CG. That's how it always works. What Fede says is that he didn't want to be on a set filled with green screens and no actual creature on set, and in that sense, he's right about having filmed everything I guess, but that doesn't mean there is not a ton of CG work happening in post production, they just avoid showing that in the behind the scenes. The end result is a mix of both worlds, for the creatures, but also for space shots, fx, vehicles etc.
@@SRLStud I’m absolutely fine with the mix of those two worlds. And I appreciate the CG work, too… no doubt! All the shots in the trailers look absolutely stunning!! But I am just very grateful, that it’s not that jumpy 100% CGI alien, that we‘ve seen in „Alien Covenant“. And i would enjoy more practical effects in the movies, nowadays. Because it’s „more realistic“… even if it’s just a little bit more realistic than 100% CG.
But i also have to give mad props to the whole Crew, that worked on that movie. Can’t wait to see it 😉
Watched the film last night and Fede used CGI as it was always supposed to be used by cinema. As make up tool for real things and not the whole final fucking product on your screen. There are retouches of stuff but the whole thing is real set props which is INSANELY obvious once you look at it. The movie is awesome, really really good tbh.
