While I still don’t have the money to buy the Deck, I’ve just got myself the Anbernic RG556 and oh boy, playing at 1080p on that screen looks fantastic. I’m loving streaming from my PC via Steam Link. I still wanna try Moonlight as well. And yes, there’s difference between playing in 720p and in 1080p on this device. It’s great to emulate PS1 at 1080p as well!
I have the LCD model. I'm thinking of upgrading for the Oled or go for the Rog Ally x/ Legion go. I'm aiming towards more for Legion Go because of the size and the detachable controllers. Plus, the windows' hanheld decice is not limited for just steam. I can play games from Epic Games, Game pass, GOG and more.....
The 3 games I played were all captured on my Xbox. Call Of Duty MW3(2023) Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy MW3 isn't supported on Steam Deck without putting Windows on the system.
Hey I'm thinking about steam deck OLED and rog ally x and can't really decide. Do you think rog ally will be more future proof then steam deck?. I think about incoming games like path of exile 2. And those kind of titles . Or final fantasy 7 remake and new FF XXVI? Deck seams easier to use but ally x is more technologically advanced so maybe it will keep up better in 2025??
The Ally X is definitely more future proof. The only problem with the original Ally was the battery. The Ally is powerful enough to run current AAA games at a high framerate(with some compromises). Also if you want an easier interface on the Ally you could open Big Picture Mode on Steam, or just install Steam OS. I hope I answered your question!
Yall are really making me want to get a Legion. I already have the ROG Ally so idk if having 3 would be overkill. I'm probably gonna cave eventually. What kind of games do you play btw?
@@TTG_Forever I am all in on RPGs Elden ring, lords of the fallen, black myth wukong etc..I even have world of Warcraft on it and it plays like a champ. Yea man I love the steam deck ergonomics feels the best in the hand but other than that the legion go just beats it in every other way.
This is without a doubt my favorite gaming device right now. It has officially passed up the Ally in my eyes.
I thought it was hot outside but this is straight 🔥🔥🔥
Bro😂

You can play EGS, GOG, and Game Pass games the Steam Deck, it just takes a bit more work
for me, SteamOS is infinitely better than windows on a handheld
I wholeheartedly agree. Windows usually only comes in clutch whenever I end up docking the Ally tbh.
What shooting game is that? Does it run well on steam deck?

there other devices learn to use the other OSS at this point it's software that counts and u can add steam on anything
Is the suspend feature as fast as the switch?
Its like 1 or 2 seconds slower. Its not really noticeable imo.
I have the steam deck Oled it’s just to underpowered for the games I play. The legion go is my favorite of all of them the screen is just unbeatable.
