    I'm sure its a bit frustrating to answer so many of these same questions over and over again. I got some good answers to my own problems by reading your replies to their problems. Its nice to see that you are attentive to your channel with this most annoying problem we all have. Thanks again.

    Mine was a very dirty oily stained ground. I Had a bad leak from my valve covers and it went all over the Alternator and ground wire of the Alternator, replaced the Alternatore because it shorted out and also cleaned up the wire and problem gone. So far so good.

    • @autorepairprocedures
      @autorepairprocedures  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s nice!!! You can also fix the valve cover gasket too to prevent an alternator fails again.

    Hi thank you for this video. How do I track a a broken wire? My car is a 2011 infinity G37x it gives me code u1003 CAN COmM CIRCUIT

    • @autorepairprocedures
      @autorepairprocedures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      First, you have to identify the circuit (as you did in this case u1003) and wiring circuit diagram/schematic.
      Second, sometime you can unplug and plug the circuit. That might help and at the same time you can check the electrical connectors for that module. Thing to check for are corrosions and something that is obvious (out of place/ bent pins and etc…).
      Third, you will need a multi voltmeter. Check all the wires that are good. This step is very advance, I do not recommend - if you never trace a bad wire before.

    my car is nissan serena c25, i got code U1000 on BCM and U1001 on ECM. When i turned the acc on, the fan running in high speed and the headlamp also on.. what do you suggest?

    • @autorepairprocedures
      @autorepairprocedures  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sorry to hear that friend. First I would check all fuses. And if your fuse blown for whatever circuit they are in, then figure out what kind of components are include in that circuit. After that you put a new fuse in to see if the new fuse is blown or not. If it is, I would start to figure what component causes a short. I know it is hard to understand, your electrical skill needs to be advanced to do this kind of short tracing and figuring things out.

      Check for corrosion on the battery and especially fuses under the hood and under dash.

    I put in a new *used* valve body in my 2007 Nissan Xterra and then the U1000 check engine code came on :/

    • @autorepairprocedures
      @autorepairprocedures  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s hard to know over online without I’m looking at it. I’m assumed that you did not have U1000 code prior the installed USED valve body? If that the case- I’m 100% sure maybe bad used valve body.
      How is the vehicle shifting? Shifting harsh or delaying at all?

      And fans run on high with key on

    • @autorepairprocedures
      @autorepairprocedures  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Have you check all the fuses and wiring is not plug in? My question for you is. Did you swap the transmission too? If you use the old transmission is not exactly the same as the JDM engine you might have some issue. Because JDM runs on different spec.. I assume you swap the JDM engine that should come with transmission too. If that the cause, all the module is not plug in or some of the module is defective, or transmission module is bad or not be able to communicate with other module.

    • @autorepairprocedures
      @autorepairprocedures  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No. The fan should not be run when key is on. Most likely the engine coolant sensor reading cylinder head is too high or bad sensor. To determine this you have to use scan tool with data and look at ECT value compare it with your in-fare temperature gun or none contact thermometer.

    Hi,
    I need your help
    I got u1000 and u1001 at the same time,
    What it could be ??

    • @autorepairprocedures
      @autorepairprocedures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Check all the fuses under the hood. If one of fuse burn out, go after that circuit.

      I have same code and no blown fuse???

    I have a u1000 code where I’m not getting communication with my transmission sometimes

    • @autorepairprocedures
      @autorepairprocedures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      First, I would check all the fuses under the hood and inside the vehicle.
      Second, check power/communication and ground all wires at the module. If all wires are good then proceed next step.
      Third, you’ll need a good scan tool that be able to communicate module and able to command/or try to establish communication with that module.
      U1000 code sometimes take a couple hours to find the cause and sometimes take days to find the root cause.

      I did have a bad wiring I had to fix but problem still seem to be there

    • @autorepairprocedures
      @autorepairprocedures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In that case sounds like you have an intermittent problem with the module.

      The Infiniti common problem is cluster. But I would check for code. Don’t go to AutoZone for code scan, because they have generic scan tool. You need to have full functional scan tool, such as dealer scan tool or independent shop. I’m 100% your vehicle will have code. Don’t just put part in it. CHECK FOR CODE FIRST.
