    The macro photography and the way that you rotate the watch as you shoot different angles is seriously world-class. You're the absolute best channel on TH-cam for this type of content. Just outstanding, and I hope you're doing well in this crazy time.

    I have a large watch collection and just adore my Panerai watches. You either get what Panerai watches are all about, or you don’t. My Pam 661 Carbotech gets worn than all my watches. The most legible dials in the industry. It’s just a cool watch that is tough as nails without showing any scratches. It gets more attention and asked about more than any of my Rolex models. The cool factor is off the charts and doesn’t look like it’s trying to show off. That’s rare in a watch. Like a LaFerrari on the wrist.

    I used to think they were ridiculous, but after trying them on myself, I want one. I loved the Luminor and the Submersible. They seem pricey tho. I’m not a seasoned watched collector yet, as my Tudor is my biggest purchase lol. I’ll get there.

    • @PeteNice29
      @PeteNice29 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The size is deceptive, and unfortunately you see too many wrist shots on arms that make the watches look silly huge. But they make everything from 38mm on up, so as with everything we wear fit and proportion is key.

    I love your channel. I ask a simple question if you can summon the courage to answer. At one time luxury was synonymous with quality so the extra price made sense. Now the quality isn't extraordinary, most have components that are cheaply available and can be made a low cost. There's no speciality required to manufacture these parts as was once necessary. So the only reason to pay the price is the heritage and brand. This feels like a rip off because there's nothing, very little perhaps, intrinsic to the product. Wouldn't you agree?

    • @FixItAgainToni
      @FixItAgainToni 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is why I go vintage all the time, I just feel the same like you. I'm in a midrange position financially - why should I spend bucks for a Tissot Visodate or a Junghans Max Bill if I can get vintage models of this type that look better (have smaller case size like I like it) for less than half the price?

    • @MrSaadmubarak
      @MrSaadmubarak 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Panerai has been making their own in-house movements for awhile now. Their new 9010 is outstanding and it’ will stand up against any other in-house movement for its snob appeal and robustness. I am a movement snob and I put the Panerai in-house p.9010 movement through it’s tests and it outperforms other in-house movements with a much stronger amplitude in any position. Power reserve from its dual barrel main spring tested to 80 hours! +1 second a day in most resting positions. Ceramic rotor bearings, etc.. The in-house p.9010 is a seriously good movement.
