  • Recently I went to check out Char Siew Yoong and Wong Mei Kee in Kuala Lumpur. These are my two favorite types of Chinese BBQ meats. Char Siu and Siew Yuk are both something I grew up eating often as a kid growing up in NYC. And KL with its large Chinese community and influence on food I know I can find it done the way I love it here.

I love Char Siu, but I have to make my own here in the UK. I use Pork Loin and make Pancake Rolls and Fried Rice with it. My local Butcher often has Belly Pork so I think I will research that other dish. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for sharing Wally. Easter blessings my friend.

That was a delicious looking video. Would be great to see a video in Bak kut teh. I was introduced to that many years ago during a visit to KL and really enjoyed it.

Hey Steven, hope all is well with you. Personally I'm not too crazy about Bak Kuh Teh. Last time I had it was in KL too, we went to a popular restaurant but I don't think they're around anymore. But next time I visit KL I will make a video about Bak Kuh Teh.
