- Dear friends
With this sequel featuring 8 more eateries at Lot 10 Hutong, this more or less sums up on the better tasting of this food court. However, the establishments not featured on these 2 videos doesn’t mean they have no quality, please understand I picked them at random with no prior arrangements with any of the stall owners. If by any chance these 2 videos attract good viewership, I shall return to do the 3rd installation. Meanwhile just enjoy watching these 2 episodes first. Remember to go out and support the local street food, be it in Hutong or otherwise. Thanks, and see you in the next video.
Oh my ... so much food in 1 spot .... i will hv to make several trip just to cover the area . Thanks Elmo for the introduction
Classic ! Tasty ! Mouthwatering ! - All the delicacies featured at this Hutong 2nd part food haunting series is worth the wait. Yatt Lau 👌🏽and Mou Tak Deng indeed 👌🏽! In the opening - can’t help but to agree that many sacrifices and dedication by the Chinese Communities has opened up opportunities for the future generations succeed. Surely a lot of hard work paved the way for brighter future generations. This 2nd Hutong episode wraps up a great series featuring outstanding food there and capturing the heart and soul of tasty, innovative and classic food at its best !!! Again - thank you Elmo for sharing a great insight of what’s there at Hutong. Will be in my list when I am at Bukit Bintang. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Kudos !!!

Appreciate the historical perspective you gave. Great video, as always. A whale of an effort. Thanks.
You r most welcome Jacqueline
slow week at work so rewatched a lot of the old videos but just LOVED these two episodes on Lot 10 Hutong!! Been to most of the stalls over the last decade but will try the new suggestions. Even better than the food was the history of the entire Lot 10 Hutong and the individual stalls. OUTSTANDING video and research went into this production! THANKS!
Thanks for revisiting my channel, hutong welcomes u
Elmo... your effort in giving us the history of each cuisine and also the history of each location is commendable.
Thanks for compliment mate
特别鍾意訪問擋主 👍
哇!全部我喜欢的食物都在这里啊。下次回吉隆坡一定要来吃。谢谢你的介绍。
快點回來KL吧
A must place every time I visit KL. 👍👍👍
Kuala Lumpur. a gatthering place for Chinese food. I saw a lot of my hometown food. in this issue and the shop owner spoke my hometown dialect. It felt very friendly. Elmo Lee & Danny Loke looking for food intro. thanks. 🙏 🇲🇾 🤝 🇸🇬 👍.
Danny and I thank u for supporting

介绍的太好,听了你的介绍好想跑去吃。
谢谢你支持他们
DOME cafe @ Lot 10 used to be my hang out spot back in the early 2000. Thankfully, it didn't cost me an arm and a leg as I was obligated to pay for extra 2 person 😂 So much has changed since then....jesus christ, that's one helluva mouth-watering ABC if I do say so myself..
竟然有水果肠粉,🍎🍜
而且还是粉红色的,
应该是这集的亮点了🎉
Really like your way of introducing our food in Malaysia , not sure if I will have the opportunity to go makan makan with you one day? I also do makan Reel/ Shorts, but seriously you are far more into detail , please allow me to learn it from you.
Thanks for supporting me mate
@@malaysiafood328 lm staying at Subang too, we can go dinner together one day
Thank you Mr. elmo for your history lessons. I think this might be your channel's USP. Jiayou💪💪💪❤❤
Thanks for the encouragement mate
Haha, the stuff you glean from Master Lee's videos: 7:42 I always thought the 3 Kan Chong name referred to the three forms of pork in the dish (meatball, sausage, and the mince). I'm an idiot 🤦♂
Nice of you to feature non-Msian stalls too. (I remember having quite a nice German pork knuckle back there in 2016...🤔or was it Austrian, can't remember 100%)
Can’t blame u coz no one could have thought the name was referred to the premises than the dish itself if we didn’t trace the history
Thank you, Mr. Lee.
Wow… how do you eat so much food each and every time!?
Everything is Ta Pau cos I don’t waste food
@@malaysiafood328 that is so super smart!!
6:05 soong kee beef balls were disappointing on the 28th December 2023. I remembered its balls had more bite in the past at the main shop. It felt soft when chewed now and the soup was bland.
Sorry u caught em on a wrong day
Soong Kee is nevertheless a go-to beef noodles place for all generations. Even I stop by every now an d then
Soong kee is the way to go
Five Stars😅✌️
❤
I quite like Song Kee's beef ball noodles, a little different from Li Foong in my opinion. During my time in KL, the only SongKee is located in Jalan Tun H.S. Lee, if my memory serves me right. Quite fond of the beef ball there, but one of the staff's attitude really pissed me off.
Do complain to the siew owners
@@malaysiafood328 may be he is no longer serving there.
✌️😃👍
支持Elmo
👍👍👍
Your pronunciation of 牛 in Cantonese sounds like 'aw' while the stall owner (and I) will say 'ngau'. I wonder why?
Tis is a typical hongkonger lazy slant calling 'ngau' as 'au', as least u picked it up
Hopefully your blood sugar didnt spike after 3 desserts
Thanks for the concern it was actually shared by 3 of us
好的👌
The Sam Kan Chong Stall in HUtang is NOT a branch of the stall in win heng seng. I know cos I talked to the old man aka the original stall owner in win heng seng. He was surprised when I asked him how his Hutang stall business was in lot 10! He said he never opened any branch in his life....and that the lot 10 stall is a competitor using the 'Jalan Imbi' name to make people think its the branch.
LOL Ive been lied to
I dont blame you Elmo hehe. Many people were also lied to@@malaysiafood328
that fake stall did a decent job la in trying to create the Original stall's quality... but still cant compare with the original stall
Food is costly at hutong !!😮
Got aircon mah😂
Compare the price to the open air street food, it's pricy,
Once you compare it to the food court in Pavillion Bukit Bintang, it is reasonable.,
What about the food prices in Genting Highland?
Oh no, 😮
I prefer to eat in the Hutong, Iot 10, 😋😋
