Y’know what’s really fun? Having a Grizzly combined with another Grizzly and that was fused with Mantis God tripple attack… with unkillable cat and 2 boons that allows you to pull two cards and to see what specialty cards to pick… (if you think I’m bullshitting you I’m not… I had this setup… I have a screenshot of the Grizzly) he was excited about doing like 6 or 8 damage at a time… bro… my Grizzly did 24 damage in one turn…
The intro of this video is funny to me because the one time NL has commented on something I've said was when I pointed out his video tags (back when that was a thing we could see) for a let's look at were all Isaac related. His reply was "Who reads the tags?"
I got a 1 cost that had the mantis god sigil (attack 3 lanes) . It was a 4 - 4 card. Also I had a moose buck that had the split attack idk what to call it but it was a 7 - 16 dmg card pretty much I had a very op deck with the undying sigil on my squirrels. I also had the magpie card / boon with the 2 draw boon aswell, pretty much I was the alpha in that fight. Killed the moon in 3 turns
Select the Trial of the Ring to instantly get a boon if you already have the ring. To get the ring, set the clock in the main cabin room to 11 O Clock before entering the cabin boss zone.
The most op death card I made was a one health 3/4 that had I think pack rat and the Sigil that makes the card come out of your hand to be automatically played. It won me the game.
I LOVE seeing random death card OTK cards in this game. My favorite from my runs was a 5/6 ONE COST card with the beehive sigil. I named it the beekeeper and it easily helped me win that run
Idk if this is relevante for you, but if you quit to main menu when in a place like at 40:23 because you wanted to go to another space you can. So if you quit after being in the wrong spot the game will only save that outcome after you've finished the "task" at that spot like picking a card, so if you quit to main menu you can choose a different route, yes it's cheesing the game but it works.
I made one that can attack in 3 directions, can fly and dive, and it was the one that you could kill it and get it back, it had 30 attack damage and 26 health
Some of my favorite OP builds: Unkillable sigil. That's all you need; makes finding cockroaches quite useful. Literally place an unkillable sigil on ANY of the cheap cards and it's OP, especially on some of my favorites like Black Goat (limitless three-blood sacrifices), Geck (Geck builds get crazy if you know how to structure them), Bee Hives (I AM THE QUEEN BEE!!) and don't get me started if you get an unkillable squirrel totem; that's just cheating.
the sigil that makes a copy of itself on the squirrel is better, because you can literally fill up your spaces with squirrels first turn and play any card first turn
THE most OP card is a 1 sac with Undying and GOAT effect combined. You can chain it infinitely with ouroboros. The ones you made are OP compared to non-rares, but they hardly scratch the surface compared to the REALLY broken stuff. You ever see a death card that is 0-cost, with Urayuli stats and mantis god passive? Makes Leshy shit bricks. Cant wait to see what you can REALLY build in future videos.

@@1Vergil I didn't know that, I was wondering what to do with the ringworm but I hadn't thought of that option, that's pretty smart. I'm already out of that area on my second playthrough but I might do that in the future lol
I wonder how much money NL has caused me to spend on deckbuilding rougelites
200
all of it
My fifth death, I had drawn the cost from a one cost card, the power and health from an urayuli that I combined at a mycologist for a 14 14 card, and the inscryption from field mice combined with infinite sacrifice. so every time I played it I got another copy in my hand. First turn one shot with 9 overkill damage, had 9 golden pelts in the final fight, and got the boons to draw twice and choose which card I draw. He didn't stand a chance.
NL missed the clock saying 11am on the wood at 41:50
Oh thank God I immediately scrolled to the comments to see if anyone else saw
I hope egg plays more of this, I enjoyed the vods
Expectation: see awesome card in action; Reality: gets stomped on stage 1 of boss battle
I built a zero cost, 7/7 with the three direction hit (from Mantis God) and undying (when it dies it comes back to your hand) took several runs to get it built, but man it was OP
26:19 he doesn't know 👀
Would love to see more! You only just scratched the surface
please more Inscryption! can't wait to see you reactions to what happens in the game!
Please dad, this series gives me life
My favorite part of the video is how you stop what you’re doing to acknowledge your wife being home
is this gonna be a series? i'd love more of it :3
Loving the content, man. You seem like you're having a lot of fun lately.
Thanks for mentioning ILoveBees, it was a blast
I hope the devs watch this and are made aware of the critical issues with a 5 health battle system where you always get to go first unopposed.
It's weirdly not an issue actually. Don't want to spoil too much, but let's just say that I lost 4 out of 5 final boss match because of my overpowered cards
It's a roguelite. The bosses cheat against you so it's only fair you can cheat against them
@@louiesatterwhite3885 The bosses don't "cheat", they just follow different rules. They can play set cards at any time in any quantity, but they have the disadvantage that they are unable to play strategically against you, and also show their moves in advance so you can counter them.
The amount of game-breaking cheese is a little higher than my tolerance for roguelites.
34:36 super adorable moment
Markiplier with the Immortal Squirrel Totem: You *fool*
I like how game "discreetly" starts complaining at you for not looking around the cabin.
NL if you could label these "part 1" "part 2" etc that would be a lifesaver
The most op death card I made was a one health 3/4 that had I think pack rat and the Sigil that makes the card come out of your hand to be automatically played. It won me the game.
I had forgotten about Dan's "Gul'dan shower" bit until NL started talking about those pelts...
I hear Dan's voice every time I get a guldan shower
So bummed it looks like NL isn’t making more of these
Probably reached Act 2 and realised that the game is a massive scam.
@@georgevoknerech228 how so 😀
The boon trials hurt me so badly . You had a ring worm and that was a chance at magpies eye which is the winning boon :’)
So close to act 2 I belive egg. Mind will be blown
I LOVE seeing random death card OTK cards in this game. My favorite from my runs was a 5/6 ONE COST card with the beehive sigil. I named it the beekeeper and it easily helped me win that run
Manlybadasshero made a deathcard that was 7/7, bifurcated strike, death touch, 0 cost, and returns to the hand if killed.
GODDAM I LOVE YOUR DESCRIPTIONS
this reminds me when manlybadasshero's custom card one-shot the moon
He started a description conversation then intentionally miss tagged the video to increase engagement. True galaxy brain
Man the trailers and screenshots on the steam store didn’t do this game justice, this is the first time seeing gameplay and it looks like so much fun
Mixed a Mantis God into a Grizzly, with unkillable squirrels. I became a main character that day
i saw someone make a 7 hp 7 damage insta kill double strike card
@18:00 “oh, yeah because the bullfrog, he’s not an active defender yet.” 🤦🏼♂️
The song at 32:00 is actually Kid Cudi's cover of "We will rock you"
Idk if this is relevante for you, but if you quit to main menu when in a place like at 40:23 because you wanted to go to another space you can.
So if you quit after being in the wrong spot the game will only save that outcome after you've finished the "task" at that spot like picking a card, so if you quit to main menu you can choose a different route, yes it's cheesing the game but it works.
omg this dude is not even standing up to explore the room- aaaa you are killing me, man!!!
I refuse to watch anything else until you continue playing this game. It's pogging
Just drew my "no more nukes" death card. 1 blood, 4/6 power/health, after 1 round increases power and double attack. :)
Even better when the card returns to your hand when it dies. Also combine that with a deathcard that needs no sacrifice and its incredibly OP.
I made one that can attack in 3 directions, can fly and dive, and it was the one that you could kill it and get it back, it had 30 attack damage and 26 health
You don't know the definition of broken if you don't have an infinitely scaling ouroboros. Nothing beats the big ol' 30+ damage and defence snake.
Some of my favorite OP builds:
Unkillable sigil.
"I made a card so good it broke the game" Still dies... I don't think that's breaking the game.
Raising engagement by a single level
THE most OP card is a 1 sac with Undying and GOAT effect combined.
You can chain it infinitely with ouroboros.
The ones you made are OP compared to non-rares, but they hardly scratch the surface compared to the REALLY broken stuff.
You ever see a death card that is 0-cost, with Urayuli stats and mantis god passive? Makes Leshy shit bricks.
Cant wait to see what you can REALLY build in future videos.
I got lucky with my card. 0 cost 8/14 or something like that. Return to hand when placed and the "improve card", also added the 3 way attack. Ez win.
Nah, I think Markiplier has the unbeatable Cat and Ouroborus combo.
Fun fact - game can’t be beat on first run. Was upset when I restarted my save and had a perfect run.. up until the bears…
Just got addicted to watching this game and you got recommended. Love the gameplay but man……the “draw me” “play me” “squirrel me” “abcdefg… me” hurts my soul😭
5:00 he essentially made a mole man here.
My first death card I ever made was called 'Effigy'; no cost to play, poison ability, and 4 ATK and 6 HP.
I looked at the description cause NL was talking about all the work he put into it and then I was gonna compliment it,
Its still a lovely description and all, but the game that it says he is playing is five nights at Freddie's.
I'm over here like, "well, now I gotta be that guy."
OMG, I was involved (peripherally, just listening to the audio logs and chatting with the Sleeping Princess) in the Halo 2 "I Love Bees" ARG! No payphones in my area accepted incoming calls (east coast Canada), so there were no axons to enhottenate, but I followed along religiously both with the audio logs and the sadly now-defunct Unfiction forums.
I made a death card that was free, did 7 damage, and had 7 health. In my winning run I gave it the sigil the mantis god has, so it did 21 damage total.
I named it Tim.
