I bought a used Glock 22 gen 4. Added a new .40 LWD 🐺 barrel, Glock Store .357sig stainless barrel, had a older LWD 9mm. Id say be careful with Magpul P mags or other non OEM 9x19mm magazines. My 22 gen 4 works well. I added a few upgrades too. Tango Down, LWD.
I use only orig. Mags, a lot less problems that way. I realy noticed it on my ruger 10/22s they jammed so much I quit using them for a very long time, then got factory mags & life is good again. I dont know lwd?

Would be one heck of an everyday carry ! My answer to that is my 33 round mag . I usually wear cargo pants so no problem . I have a 26 round mag for my G30 in .45 caliber .

In my opinion it is very close between the 19x and 17. I like the extra barrel length, but in practice, at least for me, the difference was very marginal.

Except the 45 can take gen 5 mags and the 19x can’t, without being modified. I might agree the 19x is a better value bc it comes with night sights. But overall I think the 45 is a better design with the front serrations, no lanyard loop or weird tab at base of grip preventing use of gen5 mags without modification. But we can agree to disagree

Wish I had a percentage of that ownership glock has going on for years. A pal of mines when we first met about 7yrs ago invited me into his safe after a day of shooting showing me about 10 Glocks he had along with other guns of course but when it came to the Glocks all I seen was literally the same gun over and over with just different sights and attachments 😂 he didn’t catch on to it untill about his 9th glock he said maybe, nice guns but I say you only need one of each caliber plus nowa days you got the kid just turning 21 breaking the bank for just one gun shits insane.
I’ve handled both a 19 and Gen 4 17 (I own that one). Gotta say I like my 17 over the 19. I have small hands, but the 19 is still hard for me to grip properly, so trying to shoot it accurately is a pain. Plus I have a Gen 4 for the finger grooves since my small hands fit them perfectly and probably help with recoil management. Can’t believe people disliked them that much that they got removed as a feature from the Gen 5’s
I have smaller hands as well, and actually settled on the 43x mos as my edc. I can control & keep it on target much better than the 19X. I also agree, I like the finger grooves of the older gens 😎

Well I have 3 and I like them all but my gen 5 Glock 26 is my everyday carry . All the double stacks will take about any size magazine. My favorite is the 33 round mag. Not for everyday carry of course but fits nicely into cargo pants for one heck of a backup load .
@@landenx I like my G45 but i think I read that straight out of the box the G19X Is better as it already comes with the night sights, maritime spring cups, and higher capacity mags.
I do love my 19x, but I'm gonna have to go with the 45 MOS for my vote of best Glock. It's a 19x with just enough specific features added to make it my favorite.
A member of our gun club had a Glock 40 cal. It blew up in his hand. I’ve heard of this happening before but seeing it in person was bizarre. No Glock for me after that.
