Seeing a lot of comments about the ability to mount the sight directly to the slide without the use of a plate. Yes a Glock 43x MOS can have an optic put on it but in most cases the rear lugs have to be ground down. It’s much easier to buy a plate, and mount it up that way. It doesn’t raise the optic enough to raise height over bore concerns, I’ve built 4 43x’s for some buddies and have sighted them all in at 25 and can confidently hit steel at 50 with them running a plate. Save the time, effort, and overall ease of the build and buy a plate from a reputable brand.

Love my 43x. Great build. I decided to keep everything OEM. Practice with the crappy sights and Got Good with the aim believe it or not. OEM internals and OEM mags. Only addition was talon Grips. To me it’s a tool and that tool needs to always be useful and workable and reliable. Can’t go wrong with a stock Glock. Stock Glocks always Rock as they say. Well as I say 😆. 8,000 rounds later has ran flawlessly other than one failure to feed. But enjoy that 43x a Glock I will be carrying and trust my life with for the long haul. Great video and now subbed.
I did the same except the mag well. I also put a back strap with extended beaver tail, Apex trigger,Also a iwb and owb holsters. It’s a great edc pistol.
I just recently put talon grips on. My first time using them and I like them so far I’m going to see how they hold up after a couple hundred rounds. I think I may go with an apex trigger also.

Have a similar set up except I have XS R3D 2.0 night sights, Swampfox Sentinel 2(mounts directly to the slide), I kept all my Shield Arms parts black and have Gen3 S15 mags which I ran about 800 rounds through each mag with 115, 124, 124+p and 147 to check and test feeding (not a single issue)

Nice! Me personally, had issues with the S15 mags plus I didn’t want to change the mag catch. The PSA micro dagger 15 round mags worked flawlessly and are less expensive.
Whaaaat? I thought the S15 was the only option out there for that bigger capacity. Definitely gunna check that out cause I can't bring myself to get mags with all the bad reviews.
the tlr7 sub has a tool that comes with it bro to tighten it down nice build tho i have the same setup just on my psa micro dagger c-1 ive changed out a few things like firing pin to a oem glock pin i went the shield arms route as well due to i bought the slide for the dagger first and a glock 43x non mos lower. due to the lowers from psa not being in stock at that time. About 6 months later i got the actual slide from them which i just swapped it all out since i already had the mags

Grip coild be a bit bigger but thats just me. But it's weight isn't bad. It's obviously on the heavier side because it's a revolver but I like it!! I'd recommend it tbh. :) ☺️☺️

Just FYI: there are red dots that are designed to mount directly to the slide of a 43x/48. One is actually made by shield arms.

Don't forget to swap out the plastic guide rod for a titanium one. You can get one at the Glock Store. It will make a big difference.

I run a SwampFox Sentinel on my 43x and it doesn't require a mounting plate and runs flawless.
Dental pick is the best tool for changing the mag catch. Torque the holosun to 15 inch lbs.
If you see you having ejection problems its probably the right screw is rubbing on the extraction rod

Please bro get them 507 screws torque to specs I believe it’s around 15-18 inlbs. You don’t want them screw to break off.

507k is great so far ! And I went with night fision sights
Needle nose pliers will get the mag release spring out. That’s the easiest way to pull it out and put it back in…. Pause
That’s exactly what I found later on to get it out I just forgot to put it in the video !

PSA Dagger Micros are much better than SA15’s, and you keep the stock mag catch. Everything else you have is top notch.

Yes you need it ! Atleast for the holosun, it’s possible to be direct mounted but slide would have to be slightly milled down

That's not even loctite, its nylon thread that helps with retention of the screws, loctite is a must
