There is also a 1.5 inch ACTUAL FACTORY LIFT that helps a lot too... the tires can be a tad bigger and fit better... I prefer KO2s myself... BUT you are correct-- the entire abiltiy of off-roading etc. IS THE TIRES...

Are you talking about the one from HRG? I know one dealer has installed them but I didn't know it was actually a factory option. Tell me more.

@@squirreltakular9049 I don't know all that much about it-- but there is a video on here showing a dealer INSTALLING them- they're little cup looking spacers that sit on top of the shocks.. The paperwork withthem says FACTORY LIFT on it.. I'm just interested but havne't had time to investigate further yet..

It also requires a complete 4 way alignment. Im having the dealer install it on my 2024. The service guy there has it installed on his. It looks much better. Wish it was 2-3 inch tho

Thanks for the review and looks like Mazda want to have something for their loyal follower that compete with Subaru. For people who have or want to look like they have such lifestyle and love Mazda it make sense; however, I can't imagine the MPG is going to be good with these tires. Love the tent on the roof idea though even just to be able to park by a beach to have some privacy and sun protection; however, again it will add extra MPG to have a big roof rack on the car.

Interesting choice Mazda. Any suspension or drivetrain upgrades or changes?
That little 4 cylinder is going to have fun accelerating those tires…

I picked up a Meridian yesterday. Incredible vehicle inside and out. That little 4 cylinder turbo charged puts out 256 horsepower and 310 lbs of torque. It will more than handle what it was made/advertised to do. The interior with the terracotta leather is sick. The best way to describe this vehicle is that it's Solid. The fit and finish is incredible for a vehicle in this class and passes anything in it. Go take a look at it.. u may end up driving home in one. I did. lol

@@sgt.pepper4274 I would, except I ended up ordering the new Prius Prime. Less power, but with all the driving I do, the excellent mileage will help quite a bit. + usage of commuter lane.

New tires worth the markup though?

I live in Ontario Canada and I was wondering if you do recommend getting winter tires even though the Mazda CX-50 Meridian has the Falken tires. If so…which tires would you recommend?

Is the all terrain good for daily commute and for long drive, comparing with 20”?

    Q. I have this edition, and planning to get a roof tent for it. Do i need to remove the platform out and install the tent on to the rack or I can just install the tent right on top of the platform?

Hey Bro. Let me know what it was like sleeping on top of your car. It looks interesting, from what I've seen. As for how to do it... if you check out this video, you'll see that it looks like you simply unfold it after you're parked: th-cam.com/video/vY90HEsWXBM/w-d-xo.html. Hope that helps.

I have the 2024 Mazda CX50 Turbo Premium Plus with the 20" wheels and Goodyears. The tires are "alright". But, Mazda needs to offer the all black 18" wheels on the Premium Plus as an option. Why? The 20" wheels are terrible looking...like an afterthought. The ride and comfort with the 20" Goodyears are fine around town, but get noisy on the highway. 18" wheels with Michelin Defenders LTX M/S would be more comfortable/quiet.

Just a quick impression. I don't have time to look at this yet but as someone considering a new Mazda and just discovering the power of the Michelin cross climate to all weather tires I wonder what you think of that combination on a new Mazda.

No flex means no real upgrade. Could’ve made suspension changes or something. Tuh
