Great video. This is only the second video I've found that deals with this issue. I imagine many handles end up out of time after a smith unknowingly removes too much metal in the trueing process. The minor problem being less primary cam extraction effect. The major problem being the handle contacting the receiver during firing and breaking the silver brazed joint. Subscribed and LIKED.
thank you for your videos, they are very informative! unfortunately, I'm not a machinist so most of this stuff is over my head. but if you work the bolt a few hundred times, won't this action wear in the proper lapping amount? thanks again, sir, if I ever need service, I would definitely send my 700 into you!
