you hate em until you need em. i'm still glad drugs exist for the people who need them, who can't or won't change their lifestyles, or for whom lifestyle is not enough. like me. did everything i could to avoid disease. EVERYTHING. for a decade and a half. i got the worst possible thing you can get. so yeah, bring on the drugs. and everything else holistic. all of it. i'd rather use the drugs than die. you never know how you will feel about these things until you're in the situation where they can save your life.
I just want to say how truly grateful myself and all of us are for this video as well as the "What I Ate Today" videos. Your guidance as to the norms and ways of a FullyRawVegan lifestyle are beyond helpful to me and countless others. You made me comfortable with large portions and variety. But most notable is that after eating this way, my IBS is virtually if not Fully gone! I have struggled for SO LONG that I began making jokes about it. I wouldn't ever have become so comfortable eating this way if you hadn't shown me the way. It reminds of the Barry Manillow song " I can't smile". "You came along, just like a song, to brighten my day". Please keep doing what your doing and carry us!

New vegan of two months and this really helps. My son is vegan but wants the processed foods that remind him of meals he used to eat. I agree fruit is the original fast food. I miss have fruit trees near by. The jackfruits remind me of times spend with my grandmother in rural Jamaica. Fruits were very often breakfast and lunch.
I have started so many times. Prepping and my busy schedule did not work. Thank GOD I found a friend who has her own business in Vegan prepping juices and meals for every week of the month. Today will be my first day of many days. This day will definitely be different. Wish me well ♥️

Kristina, is it doable WITHOUT collagen, protein powder and bottles of supplememts? Are you advertising them just bc its your job, or is it really essential and you really think one will fail without them?

I went from a terrible diet to being diagnosed with prediabetes I started eating plant base, and my glucose test are in the normal range, I go back for A1C check August 14th my question to you is? could I have basmati rice? I love this rice so much!!! I could eat at the rest of my life!!! I'm starting to go raw, and your videos have been very inspiring! and very helpful!!! and I'm going to go completely raw now. But the only thing I still want is the rice, cooked is the rice, do you think that would be all right? And the rest of the time it raw foods and juice.

Nice but very important is living in sunny climate and having access to good quality fruits and veggies... Raw Vegan diet can be tough in northern hemisphere but just vegan is quite accessible in any part of the world now.
Hi kristine, do you recommend having fermented food like sauker, kimchi, white wine vinegar, red wine vinegar, or ACV? Where do RAW VEGAN get B12 and prebiotics?
a raw food diet can include "living foods" like fermented foods - miso, sauerkraut, etc. Depends on every person's individual preference. Prebiotics are fiber...just eat lots of fiber. b12 you can get from a supplement.
@@Dingatse there are raw vegan protein powders like Sunwarrior, which are made at very low temperatures to retain all the nutrients and enzymes. We don’t need a lot of protein, unless we are trying to build larger muscles - or when we are elderly, we need a bit more.
@@Dingatse also, there is protein in everything. If you eat enough calories you will get enough protein unless, like previously mentioned, you’re trying to build huge muscles.

Juicing/blending yea! I was wondering that all this week! I watched Joe's video and his explanation was practical - BUT! I still did not understand WHY? - I understood the benefits of each but is one better, what's Macro vs Micro- what's that about? that type of understanding is what eluded me. So I'm so glad you will be doing a video!
No set formula... I do a smoothie and 3 juices most days. 70% raw but would never give up squash, potatoes. So healing! Also love bowls of fresh fruit!

The higher the quantity per meal of any whole food, the higher the protein content of it. If eating enough, leafy greens, tomatoes and avós can provide enough protein for a meal

She needs to get her nutrients from somewhere as she has cut out many foods.
i think its obvious you can not. Collagen is essential for us but only animals have it. So its not possible to be a healthy vegan.

Macro is calories( how much u eat, fiber) and Micro is minerals and vitamins that are in fruit and veggies. So if u do both u are good 👍
