Adding to that it’s also our everyday driver. That’s why we decided upon the Mojave over the Rubicon though I have to defend that choice constantly. Two features that distinguishes the Mojave and Rubicon that weren’t mentioned are the hydraulic bump stops and cast iron knuckles in the suspension setup. I’m currently at 63,000 miles and need new tires. I stress over these kind of decisions so would value your thoughts. My Gladiator was equipped with the A/T’s and I didn’t include my spare in the rotation pattern. Also I didn’t find the snow handling with the Falkens optimal but not the worst. Good points about the bump stops and knuckles. For rhe tires I love the falkens. But not sure how they new at4 is in the snow. I think going from 33 to 35 is a huge plus
I don't ever see myself parting with my Mojave. Further down the road I'll upgrade it some, but it's far too rewarding a capability experience for my taste.
When I got my Gladiator Rubicon (April 2021 in Castle Rock, CO), the Mojave wasn't out yet so it wasn't an available choice (even Broncos were still just Ford advertising hype -- vaporware). Still, I think the Rubicon is more "Colorado appropriate" than a Mojave would be as there's not much "Baja-desert-running" to do in the Rockies. NO WAY you can "go fast" on those mountain passes/trails, especially the scary ones (like Black Bear Pass). ;-) Now here in West TX (ELP) it's a completely different story as there's plenty of desert-running to do if you want -- and the Rubicon can go fast enough, if you want (I don't -- what's the hurry?) -- but really, my Rubi misses driving in CO...not to mention driving in the snow/white-out blizzards CO occasionally has. I can't think of a more capable vehicle (Rubi or Mojave) to get me home safely in such conditions. "Jeep Wave" -- BR
Best thing to do is buy the color matched ones on the jeep, then buy extra black ones to put on when going out on the trail. The color matched ones look so much better
Once you say that the Mohave doesn't have a front locker and no sway bar disconnect I erased it from my wishlist... I don't see the point to pay more for it over a (barebones) Willys.
Jason another great review. Observing because it bugs me, anybody else notice how the prices on these are skyward yet it is de-contented, steel bumpers where are they? Raise your hand, who wants plastic bumpers...
Dont really understand setting up a jeep for "baja" running. Its a solid front axle vehicle. They don't handle high speeds with bumps to well. Jeeps are notorious for being behind the pack while people wait for them when going down trails.
Very in depth review. Is Stelantis going to be discounting the prices on these 2025 Gladiators this year? I've heard and read some assertions that discounts are on the way but other than some of the way overpriced 2024 Ram pickups on my local dealer's lot here in PA, none of the Gladiators have received any additional discounts. You seem very well informed so I thought I'd ask. Regardless thank you for the video and take care.
just order yours from Louisana.....20k off 24s and 7k off 25s in stock units now, if you order am sure its higher.....they have huge allotment from manufacturer actually the 24s sold yesterday, lol
Just got a '24 Mojave in silver. Wish they would have blacked out the interior handles. Got rid of almost all the silver/chrome and left handles silver.
Jason, if you lived in New England (like I do) and had to deal with snow each winter, would you consider getting the X (for the Selec Trac) on your Rubicon or Mohave ? Hard to find these around. Love the 41 color! I’m leaning toward a Mohave X Gladiator. (But I’d prefer the fabric seats over the leather !)
I should say yes. But being honest here is my thoughts on any 4 auto system. They are great but should not be abused. What I mean is this (and have a video coming out this week on this in more detail). 4 auto is great for people thst know nothing about 4 wheel drive (some women, some men, many younger people). They can put in 4 auto and leave it and never worry. And it's great for the mixed conditions like dry pavement then patches of snow and ice etc. But if it's all snowy or all icy just put in 4 high. The 4 auto used a clutch system and it can wear out the more it's used.
Makes total sense. Yeah, wanting it handy for those “mixed” (snow & pavement) conditions mostly. Also, enjoyed your 4x4 overview video detailing, 2wd, 4wd(2w), 4wd(3w-w/1-locker), 4wd (4w-w/both lockers)
Yep, I agree! IMO, the black top would be nicer and yet cheaper. I'm wondering if they would OTD discount off that 2025 better MSRP say, 10%-20%? Jason, why wouldn't the Rubicon have the extra gusseted frame support? Seems to me that the tremendous body torque from serious Moab rock climbing would provide some benefit, no? BTW, very good overview, bro!
I have said that as well. My not just put the extra frame support on all the gladiators. What would it cost them 40 bucks? I'd pay it. Better yet why can't jeep just put the front locker on the Mojave and make it the perfect jeep. Not sure what deals are happening yet on the 41 colors. I bet they are high demand right now
I don't own one so not enough time behind the wheel of one to compare. But someone will probably chime in. But I do own a gladiator rubicon and it's the funnest vehicle I've ever owned. I bet the Mojave is just a bit smooter and better manored on the bumps
Of all the Gladiators I feel the the Mojave offers the best everyday road ride. The suspension setup, while designed for high speed rough roads, really enhances the everyday ride too. Two features he didn’t mention are the hydraulic bump stops and cast iron knuckles in the front suspension. ✌🏼❤️😊
My 22 Rubicon has molle panels in the back of front seats. Dont know why they ended that? A weird thing also is that the color you love has been around for a while. The rear seat hook is painted that color for some reason? Dont know why they didn't offer that as a paint color until now since it was something painted inside every Gladiator already? Jay, I think we can admit that the Gladiator is one of the best midsize trucks ever made. Just a thoughtfully designed vehicle.
Dude! I'm going to have to stop watching your videos, I was planning on buying a new full size truck this your but you almost have me convinced to buy one of these.
Good price, but missing so mamy other features. Heated seats/Wheel, Auto 4WD, Cameras, Proxsimity locks, LED lights, and some other items. I'd buy one today if they could just make it a bit more cost effective with those options.
@@Jason-Samko I get it. I've been looking at these for a few years. I keep my vehicles for about 10 years, so having those "nice to have" items makes a difference over time.
It also has softer springs, making it more compliant and providing a softer ride. The trade-off is if you're planning to tow or put on a rooftop tent. Epic Adventure provided an excellent breakdown of this.
My 2022 Mojave is more fully equipped than that model my compartment is removable like a suitcase subwoofer removable Bluetooth speaker, I mean those options in that model are flimsy for 2025, is that the tow package?
Also, IIRC the Mojave's hood is made of steel so it's heavier than the Rubicon's aluminum hood. Additionally, I think those hood vents on the Rubicon & Mojave are just for looks, they're not functional. BTW, yes, it DOES seem like Gladiator pricing is getting back to where it was in 2021, before the Covid-19 BS & pricing insanity impacted everything. And before the dealership ADM/MA price-gouging increases as well. -- BR
Can't remember one Jeep more perfect than this, for my taste and usage... except for a stronger engine maybe... But we can always complain about something right? 😂
Now with even LESS reliability, but an even BIGGER price! Get yours today! 😂 Get a Sport, Sport S, or a luxo trim...then install your own offroading equipment.
I just bought a 2024 Jeep gladiator sport S . Out the door price was 37,408.00 check out Butler Jeep in Beaufort South Carolina I think I got a great deal
I could of bought either. 2 times (meaning I've bought 2 hard core off roaders in the last 16 months). Yet I did not buy a raptor ranger. So I guess it doesn't blow it away for everyone.grest truck yes. But obviously not at the top of my list
Solution? Get a set of black flares and use them. Save the painted ones for whenever. And we are NOT ok with that manual back window. Should actually be like the tundra crew max and fully slide down

@moneypit04 yep and in that situation it really shines!
A 2 door willy is right up there.
I bet they are high demand right now
Could you explain in our recent snow in NC, why my neighbor has this jeep, and he could not climb up his driveway.
@@jamesthompson8975 cause he didn't have any traction
What’s your thoughts on the Willys? I know they changed some stuff for 2024. I’m just curious how it stacks up to the Mojave.
Love the willys. Just did a video all about it 3 videos down from this one on my page
How’s Mohave ride on roads and handle everyday use
I don't own one so not enough time behind the wheel of one to compare. But someone will probably chime in. But I do own a gladiator rubicon and it's the funnest vehicle I've ever owned. I bet the Mojave is just a bit smooter and better manored on the bumps
Of all the Gladiators I feel the the Mojave offers the best everyday road ride. The suspension setup, while designed for high speed rough roads, really enhances the everyday ride too. Two features he didn’t mention are the hydraulic bump stops and cast iron knuckles in the front suspension. ✌🏼❤️😊
great review though I despise cloth seats. :)
@@ArtbyPatrickPetruccello thanks
I have a 23 Rubicon man I want the color 41 Mojave now hahaha
Love the 41
Wy is my friend 2024 gladiator have fox suspention got it like that a the dealer brand-new. In Canada.?
Gladiator used to have fox shocks then went to the rubicon red shocks. So they could be going back to fox shocks. They are basically the same shock
I’m 6’3 and I can fit behind myself in the Gladiator. Most midsized I can’t.
Agree. My son inlaw is 64 and can do the same.
Do the Rubicon X and the Mojave X include a soft top in addition to the hard top? I see plastic bags on the backseat. What are those?
The bags are for the roof panels so they don't get scratched when you put them in the back of the gladiator
@ctom8299 my all time favorite truck I've ever owned! Can't wait to get my next one at the end of the year.
New stickers are supposed to be on the 2024s I thought.
Dude! I'm going to have to stop watching your videos, I was planning on buying a new full size truck this your but you almost have me convinced to buy one of these.
Lots of great trucks available today and glad you are enjoying the vids!
Jeep vs Colorado? Driving mostly on road offroad for fun.
@twoloud2007 2 fantastic teucks. You have to test drive both as they are vastly different experience. But both are outstanding
I want the same gladiator in 41 as you brother
@@frankconsidine5989 such a sexy color
Is the ‘41 color darker than Commando Green?
@@FRWD_FXLRST I'd have to see them side by side to know
Good price, but missing so mamy other features. Heated seats/Wheel, Auto 4WD, Cameras, Proxsimity locks, LED lights, and some other items. I'd buy one today if they could just make it a bit more cost effective with those options.
They offer all those in other packages and it does have led headlights i believe. Personally I'm glad they offer a lesser package like this
@@Jason-Samko I get it. I've been looking at these for a few years. I keep my vehicles for about 10 years, so having those "nice to have" items makes a difference over time.
What’s different this vs. Mojave X ?
X package much more loaded with options and features including 4 auto for snowy roads etc.
The Mojave should come with the Hurricane engine to really complete the package.
With the more compliant Fox suspension, does it ride better on the highway? How does it compare to a Rubicon and Sport?
It also has softer springs, making it more compliant and providing a softer ride. The trade-off is if you're planning to tow or put on a rooftop tent. Epic Adventure provided an excellent breakdown of this.
@benblakeney7418 Excellent, thanks!
Does it have rear full float axels?
Only the wrangler does. Not the gladiator yet
My 2022 Mojave is more fully equipped than that model my compartment is removable like a suitcase subwoofer removable Bluetooth speaker, I mean those options in that model are flimsy for 2025, is that the tow package?
Live my gladiator rubicon diesel on 37 inch tires
@@johnkraft5640 would lover 37s
Looks like somebody’s getting a new jeep
Not until end of 2025. Bit if the deals works it will be a 25 rubicon this color
-- BR
Thanks. Didn't know the hood was steel on the Mojave.
Can't remember one Jeep more perfect than this, for my taste and usage... except for a stronger engine maybe... But we can always complain about something right? 😂
Amazing truck
Now with even LESS reliability, but an even BIGGER price! Get yours today!
😂
Get a Sport, Sport S, or a luxo trim...then install your own offroading equipment.
I just bought a 2024 Jeep gladiator sport S . Out the door price was 37,408.00 check out Butler Jeep in Beaufort South Carolina I think I got a great deal
Perfect. Congratulations on your amazing new truck
They need to put the manual back in the gladiator, otherwise I'm not buying it!!!
What you talkin bout Willys?
How’s these Jeep safety if T Boned ?
Not sure. Never looked at the crash data
It’s a shame they dropped the manual transmission
Agree
56 grand, still to high.
Compared to what
@Jason-Samko Compared to the average salary, most vehicles in comparison not just Jeep .
@branmichaluk445 can 100% agree with that
Beautiful truck for sure but still the price is too much.
@@stevefisher2121 not anymore. Prices have come down quite a bit
I love gladiators but theyre just too expensive.
@@ryderwayland not anymore they are down quite a bit price wise now
@ a dealership nearby theres a new 2024 gladiator sport S thats 38k. I think thats a good price
I think you have a Deal 🤣
For the same kind of money you can get a Ranger Raptor which smokes this thing in every way….
I could of bought either. 2 times (meaning I've bought 2 hard core off roaders in the last 16 months). Yet I did not buy a raptor ranger. So I guess it doesn't blow it away for everyone.grest truck yes. But obviously not at the top of my list
Nothing has changed because it's still has no balls to really be a Baja truck. It's more of a dust ridding truck 😂
Cloth is definitely better. Had leather with a jeep and hated it
@jordanm3468 yep I much prefer cloth myself
Not worth 50k+…dufuq
I don’t like the leather seats either.
@@rogerthat117 cloth is my favorite
Very nice everybody deferent but I would never ever buy one just don't care for them
Nothing wrong with that! And the best reason why it's good to have so many different truck styles and options
Wondering if you’ve ever opened the hood on a Jeep? Piss poor video
Cool. Thanks for commenting
NONE of these Jeeps are worth anything close to that Mojave price.....NONE.
Still overpriced
Solution? Get a set of black flares and use them. Save the painted ones for whenever. And we are NOT ok with that manual back window. Should actually be like the tundra crew max and fully slide down
Slide down on a removable top? I like the manual slide. One less thing that has electronics to break 🤷♂️
I still want the diesel.. they should have never killed that
Agree
I'm going to buy a 2025 jeep rubicon gladiator! You talk me into it. 🛻
Test drive first and make sure you like it. I love them
