Wow, such a game changingly clever design. I am ordering one for my Ford Lightning Pro. Thank you sir. I've been a subscriber to your channel for the last month or so and it is really paying off.
So I have the same camera on my lightning. Have you noticed your tinted mirrors staying tinted all the time while the lights are on after installing this?
OK, I like this video better than your Lightning delivery video! I found your Lightning delivery video very interesting and extremely useful information, but I think you out did yourself with this 4X Dash Cam video. This is really great definitely a must have accessory! Well done!
Oooh, I've been thinking of getting a dashcam recently and this one looks to be a decent price for what you get. Hopefully they make them for the 10th-gen Accord.
The dash cam is extremely easy to install. The rear camera is a bit trickier getting the wire back there neatly and safely without interfering with the side canopy airbags, but the dash cam is simple. Resolution is excellent. I didn't really show it, but there is an app for your phone that lets you watch in real time.
Does this camera fits on Ford edge Titanium? I’m so curious. I wanted to install one for my CAR. Coz We have some incidents happen just like you. Its The trash. I ended fixing The bumper on my CAR, luckily I have insurance. Hope I get an answer from you. Thank you for sharing your video.
I read in the reviews on amazon that all of the footage is lost once the truck is shut off have you tried to retrieve video after you shut your truck down? Otherwise looks like OEM
Either the data was not recording to the card or they have no idea what they are doing. It's impossible for data to be erased on a hard drive by simple power disruption.
Someone below said that turning the lightning off erases all the video on the card, is this true? Also how does the video show on the card when both front and rear cameras are recorded?
That is not true. All data would be stored on the card until you remove it yourself or it fills up and gets written over old data. It's probably like other units, 2 separate folders for the recordings
Great idea I change lanes or back off if a dump truck moves in front of me I’m glad you got paid but the same goes for snow & ice in winter, your safety is your responsibility, you can’t follow too close & cry when a chunk of ice hits you. Leave more space & let it hit the ground. Granted there are laws & id say 80% of the time roofs get cleared but no one is climbing on a 14 ft icy metal roof to clear it if you pick a trailer up at a drop spot. I don’t care about saying someone should get a ticket, staying out of the hospital is more important
@@kurtstype7468 Ended up with a generic from Amazon. Bought three different brands and two didn't fit but one did, except there is a 2-3mm gap left to fit tight.

Does the camera record when the truck is parked and the engine is off?
I have ordered one for my F-150 Lightning. Have you tried leaving the Lightning power on in short term parking situations to monitor while parked?
I actually have not tried that, but it should work.
I installed this on my lightning, excellent recommendation.
Glad it worked out for you.

I ordered the 4K front and the1080p rear with the128g. Amazon shows available, I was able to order direct from fitcamx in China
I ordered Oct 19 and was delivered today Oct 29. quicker delivery than Amazon without paying additional fee for fast ship.

I have the same cameras on my F150 PowerBoost. It looks factory installed.
Do you have the rear camera too?
@@EHermes Yes
What's the Model#? Many listed on Amazon.

I'm not sure the mounting would work for an Edge, but it might.
@@EHermes Aw thank your for The reply.
Any issues with CarPlay connectivity with this while recording or vice versa.
I occasionally have issues with CapPlay connection, but no more so than before I installed this.

Does this camera have the option to record upon any movement around the vehicle when you are not driving it?
It’s just a camera. Records only when car is on.
@@OmarMurillo-y2d does the camera auto turn on when the vehicle starts, or do you have to manually turn it on?
Yes auto turns on. It’s plug and play easy by rear view mirror harness. Car on= camera on.
Car off = camera off
So what does the rear harness plug into?
It plugs into the camera area. You have to route a wire through the headliner.
@@EHermes Is it above the back window?
@@Avalanche2 yes, as shown here.
How is this camera performing now that it has been over a year?
It continues to work flawlessly.

discount code for amazon was invalid
I'm sorry, but I believe that offer has expired.
@@EHermes thanks for the update. I ended up with a different camera, USB, and using an adapter direct from the mirror. Even better than this.
