I wanna tell Joe Rogan about the time I spent two months in the wilderness at 16 because I was a "Bad kid" Im also Alaskan and have managed boats on the deadliest catch. But he'd never hit me up, I'm sure of it
I love how easy their conversation is, no one talks over each other, they simply relay different stories back and forth between each other and appreciate the other person for their experiences
I think that’s probably why Joe has been so successful with his podcasts. He knows exactly how to converse with people. His communication skills makes his guests feel comfortable like they’re talking to an old respected friend.
When y'all were talking about the falcons, it reminded me of my experience in MCRD San Diego. They literally hire falconeers to bring in their birds to hunt seagulls because their population is crazy there. We would be standing outside the chow hall waiting to go in to eat, then we'd hear a loud crack in the sky, and a seagull would fall out of it dead.

His personality, the charisma, his ability to get someone excited about something and the way he tells things. He gives me Steve vibes everytime I see him.
The fact that Forrest took over an hour to casually slip in the fact that he discovered the most rare animal on the planet tells you everything you need to know about this gem, LOVE this guy. You'd never even think he's a biologist by looking at him.
He looks exactly like a biologist..
@@Olm9 I don't think a biologist has a "look"
@@manumusicmist My point exactly.. 😉
How else would a biologist look?
He’s a parachute scientist 😬 He didn’t “discover” either the Caiman or the Tortoise, he latched into local scientists who actually had done the hard work and pretty much stole the credit…
Joe “killer whales kill other whales. That’s why they’re called killer whales” Rogan
@alexiskillmobile im not sure you're right. i think killer whales is not mean as they kill whales, but they are the whales that kill. If they would name them because they killed whales, they;d be called whale killers.
@@janisgrava7884 thats the point..
They are called killer whales because they are an apex predator. While they are known to occasionally kill whales it isn’t something that is consistent with their behaviour or considered a normal source of food for them.
@@janisgrava7884 you don't get the meme I suppose. None of you do apparently
REAPER3fitty lol nope
Forrest is one of my top 10 favorite guests on this podcast such a fascinating individual love your content Joe!
I swear id love to completely change my life and have a job like this guy he inspires me to change! Bigtime!
Jaime always sounds scared when answering Joe's questions
Jamie "please don't fuck this up" last name.
He also gets kinda snippy whenever a guest suggests, specifically, what to search for on Google
Coz he doesn't work for the guests.
Did You Not Know He Is Being Held Captive?
@@AwesometownUSA I think it depends on the guest, if a guest treats Jamie like Siri he gets a little pissed but with people like Matt Farah that are super polite to Jamie he's cool about it.
Forrest needs to be a podcast regular
Space Hippo he already has a tv show...
Definitely! I like how much he knows, but isn't a "know it all" either. Super cool, knows how to have a conversation.
Agreed! Want more nature content? Check out Forrest's podcast and enjoy some Wild Times :)
Beautiful episode! Just about exchanging knowledge about our amazing planet. We need more of this!
My parents had a giant tortoise walk out of the woods into their yard years ago about two hours north of Atlanta, GA. It was an African Spurred Tortoise! Apparently it was a “pet” that broke out and had been wandering around the woods for months.
Forrest has to be one of the greatest guests Joe has ever had
If you want to hear more Forrest tales check out his podcast and enjoy some Wild Times! :-)
@@BrofessorRetep I'll check it out! Thanks!
One of my favorite JRE guests ever. The nearly 3 hour podcast took me nearly 5-6 hours to get through because every 2 minutes you guys would send me on a tangent looking up more about what you guys were talking about. Not a passive experience at all. Loved every moment. PLEASE have Forrest on again even if it's just rehashing the same stuff.
Hahaha I did the same thing! It was well worth it.
What would some of the others be?
Lol. I often do such when watching Rogan.
Yes same, fortunately I was smart enough to use my phone whilst still listening.

Working 12 hours and this podcast keeps me entertained and informed
Forrest navigates Joe Rogan like he does the jungle+ he listens to it. Forrest is one of those fairies with the right amount of curiosity and humbleness. As much as he has experienced he is always down to straight up listen, even if its listening to Joe Rogan talking to you about things he's heard or found on the internet meanwhile you actually lived it
Forrest is literally the nicest and most polite guest I've ever heard on Joe's show.
Is that you in the picture?
You probably never heard of mister Joey Diaz 😂

100%
Randall Carlson is suppose to be back soon as well!
I wanna tell Joe Rogan about the time I spent two months in the wilderness at 16 because I was a "Bad kid"
Im also Alaskan and have managed boats on the deadliest catch.
But he'd never hit me up, I'm sure of it
This is such a nice episode, got me smiling 😊
please bring on Jeremy wade!!!!!!!
Yes!
i live in the same plae ass him he is a such a lovley man will still and talk to me just amzing legend
Hell yeah. I've been asking for that for ages
YES!
Yes bro
I love how easy their conversation is, no one talks over each other, they simply relay different stories back and forth between each other and appreciate the other person for their experiences
I feel like they totally went and did the wolf dog thing then and enjoyed chilling together.
Except from the “Oh” “wow” “really?” “What a crazy animal” from Joe “you ever taken DMT?” Rogan.
I think that’s probably why Joe has been so successful with his podcasts. He knows exactly how to converse with people. His communication skills makes his guests feel comfortable like they’re talking to an old respected friend.
Thanks for introducing me to Forrest, Joe. Ever since i first saw him on your show I've followed and watched him everywhere! He's so amazing and cool!
Galante is such a cool dude. His vast amount of knowledge on animals, environments, & extinct species. It’s truly inspirational. Steve Irwin be proud that someone has stepped up to influence the youth.
Steve Irwin's son is probably offended by this comment, but no one knows for sure because he never stepped out of his dad's shadow.
Check out his pod cast
@@JohnDoe-lt9sg Is he a pompous ass? His son doesn’t do what Forrest does, not even close. I would like to think that he would be humble enough to say his dad would be very impressed.

I love it when Forrest Galante says "OK, so you're gonna like this one..." Yes please keep talking for a long time! :)
If you came here for the story of the 3 wolves from the shorts it's @ 1:19:00
I usually watch the whole podcast but there's some things i want to see right away
This dude is so interesting, has a story for every forest on earth. It's in the name after all.
I am a sucker for this wildlife talks.
Coyote Peterson should be the next guest.
Joe Rogan said he was supposed to be on a long time ago bit he can't remember why it didn't happen. It was back when Coyote was on The Fighter and the Kid podcast with Schaub and Callen. Joe has talked about the "crazy guy getting stung on TH-cam" several times but keeps forgetting his name is Coyote. I hope he brings him on.
Chandlers wildlife should be on the podcast!
It would be a great episode
I love coyote Peterson
Not only is he brilliant, but... from an interview point of view, he’s easy to listen too. Nobody keeps talking over each other, nobody is yelling, he’s not doing anything annoying at all. Just very well spoken and carries himself with class. Great guest! Big fan.
True, I cringe every time a guest talks over joe
@@henrybp797 sometimes they are Just as fascinated as he is then it is ok 👌

Sturgeon. The reason that the bridge in Kelowna, crossing Okanagan Lake is a floating bridge, originally, is because divers in the 1950s were too scared to deal with the Sturgeon in the lake. Plus it is over 700 meters deep in that area. The depths are also why Ogopogo still lives there. Plus the underwater cave system is where they live.
