I think Dragons represent mankind’s earliest fears while they were transitioning between tree-dwelling and ground-dwelling. Dragons are like snakes, birds, dangerous lizards and big cats all rolled into one. I believe they represent our natural predators and/or animals that could fuck our shit up while we were still young as a species. But you could be right, too. I kind of like your idea.
There actually ARE theories about this because the geographic areas of the world where cultures developed dragon mythology do, in fact, coincide with either geological areas rich in fossils directly, or else trade routes passed through those areas, such as the Chinese silk road. The Gobi desert in Mongolia is loaded heavy with fossil finds that were very likely discovered at some point by traveling merchants who may very well have collected and sold pieces to Chinese people, perhaps of some importance, while fabricating stories of their origins. Similar theories exist about why there even IS dragon mythology that exists in many different cultures since times before they ever had real contact.
Is it though? Like an actor, artist and such, they know what they're getting themselves into when entering the field. Doing something you're passionate about is fulfilling itself. Not sad at all.

Gregory Sullivan Please stop doing drugs and listening to Eddie Bravo. We do not date objects using something of a similar age, that is primitive and is only used by loggers trying to eyeball how old a tree is by comparing it to a tree they already cut down, which is just for their own entertainment. How we actually date objects is by carbon dating. In which we find out how much carbon is left in the specimen, and calculate using the half life of carbon to see appropriately within in 1-3 thousand years how old something is.
@Gregory Sullivan No stupid, I actually went to school for this. They had me calculate how old a hypothetical sediment sample was based on how much carbon was left in the sample, and the half-life of carbon. Thomas Jefferson found the bones of an extinct giant ground sloth and mistook it for a lion. Obviously, people found dinosaur bones all of the time but had no idea what they were, or didn’t have the luxury to care.
A ground sloth isn’t a dinosaur lol. Wtf? They didn’t even exist in the same time period. Finding a giant sloth doesn’t meant trex exists

I honestly think the myth of dragons in stories came from people who found dinosaurs and couldnt explain it and imagined what these creatures were
I think Dragons represent mankind’s earliest fears while they were transitioning between tree-dwelling and ground-dwelling.

Do not argue with someone that is educated over something you read at Flatearth dot com. Well yeah people weren't regularly doing the digs we are doing now, and does it not make sense that once we are able to identify and describe something that we would then go seeking for more?
@@sebastianfischer2082 people were digging deep before. And were going into caves. And taking slabs of rock from hills and mountains. No one found any massive bones? The way this guy reacts and carries himself, convinced me that Dinosaurs probably don't exist.
We do know that he has a small vocabulary.
If you can be convinced of a lie that easily, then I guess you don't have the intelligence or mental maturity to have a place in the conversation.
When you see your custom character in a cutscene.
oh my god this is too good and underrated
miljan zbork underrated comment
i laughed harder than i should have at this
“Your emphAsis can be on a different syllABLE.” Criminally underrated rated joke, it breaks my heart he didn’t get a chuckle
I rewound 6 times just to hear it again and again, I might even go back one more time just so I can go to sleep with a smile for once :)
Timestamp?
I don’t think it was a joke… he’s a weird dude… pronounces things weird
could you explain the joke to me? English isn't my first language lol
It was a bad joke that’s why no one laughed
I love how Joe is just watching Trevor watch this video like a mom watching her kids open Christmas presents
@J_eagle Snickerdoodle you don't think it's there so he can simultaneously watch his guests? Ya jackass
I would say Trevor is looking at the video like a Mum watching her kid shoplift.
Chandler Saunders that’s a fucking good one lmao
A Christmas present he knows Trevor doesn't want 😂😂 like socks
Chandler Saunders , yeah man! Joe’s got a creepy stare while drinking that beer. Hilarious!
We need more of this guy
Joe is torturing this dude.

Joe Rogan and Trevor Valle are a couple of sell-out, shill, bitches! haha XD

If i could have a holy spirt or guardian angel look over me, i'd hope he/she has the same passion to protect me and defend me like this guy defends dinos.
Well imagine being told by someone that your whole career is completely fake
@@xxeman445xx imagine someone telling you you aren't real because they don't believe you are? That's about as much evidence as the idiot they had to wast their time listening to. I'd be pissed if some dumbass is spreading lies about something that's actually provable, unlike their lies.
@@tanjianforever if it was regarding something real most wouldn't get mad at all. They would blow it off. Teddy gets mad when we don't believe his lies.
Evil Flying Chicken Nugget or watch over me like the way Joe is looking at Trevor Valle 👁
Somewhere Eddie Bravo is squinting his eyes.
thanks asshole, i almost spit my coffee out reading this. haha
The sudden image of Eddie hiding behind the Joe's mic, huge headset on, staring at the monitor and squinting with the look of, "wait a minute" on his face
I actually did spit my coffee out imagining that haha
He's"looking into it" 😂😂😂😂
LMAO
“If you say dinosaurs aren’t real 3x in the mirror, this guy appears” 😂😂
Joe Rogan's facial expression: we're recording gold here, folks.
Honestly, what’s better than watching an expert rip some dumbass apart
But not lmao
I want one of those crazy edits from this podcast.
It's pretty funny watching joe not even looking at the video playing and just watching the dude 😂
I love how he doesnt even watch the video and just waits for him to say something 😂
The dinosaurs walked off the flat earth a long time ago.

Sanjay Seebaran ancient cultures did find them-that is where the stories of dragons come from. The native Americans didn’t because they did not mine for ore and precious metals like other ancient cultures did.
@@dkupke exactly
Sanjay Seebaran go ya one better; the flood mythos (Noah’s ark) stems from the way the continents shifted over the course of millennia. Ancient cultures found fossils in inhospitable climates and assumed the whole shebang had once been under water-because they did not have a sense that the continents they lived on once hadn’t existed.
Daniel Ryan Even tho that does make sense. Nobody ever saw A.I. Before but plenty of movies about it back in the day. It’s lot of stuff people never seen before they can make up. I once saw a 100 ft Alligator walking down the street talking to a orange and blue sock
