I think *Geralt from Witcher series* got lost/isekai'd into the world of Arknights and took on this new persona, *Hellagur* ,because when someone saw Geralt defeat several enemies by himself, a spectator said "This old man is *hellagud* " And it takes big sense why Hellagur (Geralt) cannot be normally healed due to his Witcher mutations
People like "uniqe" characters in terms of game play Then when you give them that they say he is niche and trash Imo he is great for all starters and all late games if you want a safe guy to kill bosses or solo lanes Sure he is a bit expensive but he smashes every thing in that lane not needing supports

Hellagur is my Favorite 6 Star (with Hoshi) and i know his second skill is better because of dodge, but you cant say his third skill isn't super cool and fun to use. With his new skin it looks even cooler. I will get his skin no matter what.
Still not exactly meta, it only takes some stat boost for bosses for him to be rendered not viable. Like, he's a boss killer, but he cant tank Patriot, or Talulah. The demerit of being hard to heal limits him greatly. The example is the latest CC. You want someone that could stall reliably, even better if they can be a helidrop. Like Surtr and Specter. Even for a lane defender, he also fell short compared to Mountain that can hold the lane reliably, and still can be healed as well. Being an enmity guard that's hard to heal, his ceiling is still not that high. Mudrock has considerably high survivability paired with a bit of offensive prowess as well even as en enmity defender. So like, Hellagur's role is fairly replacable, as such, not the most effective operator still.

I wanted Hellagur for really long time, decided to roll on Thorns to get some certs for him... and got him in Thorns banner and later got him in recruit too bruh
I actually use his third skill alot more than his second one for bosses because I tend to place him right behind the Defender that blocks the boss or a powerful enemy.
@@John-el5sv True...but since his third skill charges automatically and can reach up to three tiles in front of him, I'm able to do alot of damage to the boss and other blocked enemies that way. Just did that late last night in CB-EX-4's challenge mode against the Bully enemy that was being blocked by Spot, who was supported by two Medics to keep him alive.

Nearl can also help heal Enmity gaurds with her 10% bonus healing talent. Its a small buff but paired with the others might be what you need to solo a boss.
Although his utility is smaller than average, his skill set is worth the m9 due how diverse his skills can be used. He is very important operator that can very well self-sustain with very insane dps, but his 1 block can be a little problematic and difficult to use. Worth raising and definitely a hella good operator
I personally think Blaze is the most valuable of the 3, then Angelina, and Hellagur last. It's not that he's bad, he's great, but he is niche and I seldom felt like I needed him before I got him. Just bought him with certificates, but managed okay without him for a long time.
Blaze, Mudrock and Thorns does a better job in holding lanes than him. Mudrock has higher HP, has higher attack, higher heal, higher defense and has more block count of 3 compared to 1.
My problem with Hellagur is that, if I were to get him, he would be redundant in my team. For survival I have Mudrock. For damage I have SilverAsh. For 1V1 boss I have Eunectes.
I think he’s really cool, and I got him from the store, but I probably won’t use him much. I already have Thorns and Surtr who can do great damage, and they can be placed behind Defenders and still do consistent damage.

Hellagur looks good on paper, but there are rarely any practical uses for him. Using him for CC with his 75% dodge is just playing with RNG for lack of other means. If you had more reliable OPs, you'd really be using them instead. No need to get him.
