    Let's not forget that Yvonne's banner begins after Surtr's banner. You can right now lose 50/50 to Yvonne on Surtr's banner so we can assume that all 6*s are standard so even if you fail to get rate-up 6* then you can still get them the next time you're pulling unlike certain game where characters wait 400 days for rerun

    What i love from both arknights gacha system is no such thing as build pity for next banner, it just mean "dont be dumb and gamble when you need to get the operator you want". And this also good to gatekeep the tourist player that mostly so annoying

      That's the most incredibly reachy cope I've ever seen. If your pity isn't saved, then you can lose out on your invested time and pulls, which is objectively worse by far. "Don't be dumb and gamble" is incredibly counterintuitive under a monetization system that fundamentally uses psychological manipulation to get you to gamble.
      And this game is a big open world 3D game, without the tourists your game will EoS because unlike the first one it will be much much more expensive to keep running and make content for.

      I can agree that the single guarantee pull is not necessarily greedy (for example, in Wuwa I plan on the long run and only pull 1 copy from each banner, even if it's rerun. So maybe they aim at that: low count single guarantee, and if you want to max out, you need to make it on the long term. You need to be loyal to the game on the long term. Though, no guarantee of that).
      But the pity not carrying over is not a player friendly practice in any form or color. There is not a single reason for why pity carry over is a bad thing for the player.
      And don't forget that tourists can change into F2P or even paying if they like the game. Giving a bad first impression is never a good idea. A good gatekeeping is a difficulty spike that force tourists to invest their time seriously or quit. Not something that would anger/digust them.

      They also have a 80 pity for a 6* (soft star at 65 and plus 5% after that ofc 50/50) that cary over to the next banner
      One more thing is you could get around 20 weapon pull/week and said banner is a 25/75 banner w a 4% base rate 1 6*/40 pull and a hard pity of 80 which mean u get around 2 6*weapons/month
      Imo that is the least gread i ever seen in a gacha game

      ​ @idkwudIdone Sorry but the less greedy is Limbus Company, you can't compete with that (Don't look at the gacha rate (even if the rate are quite good, they barely have any guaranteed), players barely use the gacha after a point. They instead craft the characters).
      And yes, I understood that only the guaranteed rate up didn't carry over. I may have expressed myself badly, but my point is: you can't justify that the guaranteed (or the pity) doesn't carry over as good for the players in any form or color.

      I heard roguelike is there in endgame Endfield! And guess what? the Interface is similar to IS!
      Also, it gives premium currency every week, for pulling the weapon banner!

    As s low spender i think the system is great i can spend a low amount knowing damn well im guaranteed to get what i want. Not to mention i think fhis system really instigate a lot of f2p to spend a bit

    My primary worry is the combat. Switching to an action combat format is a large change and early opinions on it are positive but with varying flaws. I personally enjoyed the original because it was different. Now they are moving to a genre which is already well saturated. If they cannot nail the combat, everything else is pointless. I actually hated the combat in Genshin for example. ZZZ and WuWa were also uninteresting to me. So this doesnt bode well for Endfield in my eyes anyhow.

      From what i saw it be more like rpg at least on boss fights . Like MMO rpg , mechanicks and others look similar . Have hight hopes for game and Rus language .

      It's basically the same tho, removed the battle skill tactical direction thingy, but also adds new combo skill (skill that require certain condition to use, similar to ex-astris, gryphline premium game), dodge mechanic, interrupt mechanic, elemental infusion (idk if it's exist in the alpha), and probably more.
      Also the "original" combat is obviously not final. The way you activated the on field character skill from your active/controlled character and then change your active char is pretty weird. Imagine using Perlica, a ranged char, then you need to get close to the enemy to land a hit with Chen skill, then you automatically change to Chen, do melee attack, use Perlica skill, auto change to Perlica, get back to get some distance from the enemy because she's ranged, repeat.
      The best scenario is to add the tactical direction back, but the skill is actually comes from the on field chars and not forcefully change our active char while also retaining all of the added features/mechanics. But the problem is, the on field chars can be anywhere because of their AI.

      I only disagree with the game losing everything if the combat is not nailed. It's not the end of the world, because there are way more things to do. Besides, endfield isn't focused on fighting and action. But yeah, it would be the icing on the cake if the fighting system is also just as unique and high quality as the game itself. My current worry is the story, because from what I've seen, It's not as deep or rich as the og arknights. Obviously, this is not the release nor did I play it myself, but we'll see what they cook once the game is actually out I guess.

    Beside the whales, who really pull for extra chars? i mean, they will become more strong, but we are talking about a gacha, these chars will last for 2yrs till a powercreep happen.

      For me personally, I only pull characters that I really love (Ceobe!)
      But really, people would pull duplicates if it would help ease their progression on the hardest content of the game.
      Like in AK, where higher pots are giving advantages on Contingency Contract
      If Endfield has a hard endgame content, I can imagine people would pull for duplicates!

      Honestly worst case scenario, hypergryph can just bring back operator tokens. Like the royal caster token, so you can still pot characters without dupes

      @@deathmarch4192 We really need dupes to clear all the endgame content in the arknights? If this is true maybe they are shooting themselves on the foot, since we have other BOTW-like games that you don't need dupes, like genshin and WuWa.

    After understanding the gacha mechanism, I thank genshin because their gacha mechanism is much more kind than this game. To put it bluntly, this game's gacha mechanic is equivalent to genshin's weapon banner, but don't forget the weapon banner is 75/25 and this game is 50/50. I was wrong before to condemn the genshin's greed.

      Hmm I think both game has its own advantages.
      For me, Genshin has the 'building pity' thing, where you can pull a banner until near soft pity (around 75) and wait for the next banner where you can either win the 50/50 in 10 pulls or do another 70-90 pulls for a guaranteed chara.
      Let's say: Mavuika's banner from 0 pity I did 75 pulls, no 5-Star. Arleccino banner, I did 5 pull to get Jean. I do another 80-90 Pull to get Arleccino.
      -Total pulls is 150-180 pulls with 2 5-Star (1 featured)
      In Enfield, with the same scenario (build pity on first banner 65 pulls, then do 15 pulls to get a 6-Star, do another 80pull to get a 6-Star, and the do another 25 pulls to get featured operator banner
      Let's say: Surtr Banner from 0 pity I did 65 pulls, no 6-Star. Yvonne banner, I did 15 pulls to get Amber. I do another 70-80 Pull and got Gilberta. I do final 25 (to fulfill the 120 guaranteed) and finally got Yvonne.
      -Total pulls is 110-120 pulls with 3 6-star (1 guaranteed featured)
      In my opinion, Endfield is more gracious to give 6-Star operators but requires 120 pull commitment, but Genshin has the ability to save 'guaranteed pity' even with its reduced amount of 5-Star
      Of course, my explanation here is just the worst case scenario. Hopefully you'll win your 50/50 every time, Doctor!

      If it's carried over then that's pretty cool, if not then it's okay I guess because you technically get 6* earlier
