Man Indycar is in such a great place right now it has the perfect combination of driver talent, exciting tracks, and cars that can race close to each other! Every race is super exciting
@Jeff Mattel F1 has a lot to do with being at the right place at the right time.. yes Ericsson had his moments but he was never really in a car that can contend for podiums and race wins.. Indy is much more of a spec series so we get to see drivers racing in similar equipment which allows driver skill to shine more.. I watch every F1 race too there’s just differences between the two sports

@@uprightfossil6673 It's all general admission, and I recommend anywhere near turn 5 (where a few of the incidents were). Plenty of good shade and hiking trails around the track, it will feel more like going camping/hiking than to a race :D

As much as I love both of them indycar is better sport f1 is a better show though I don’t deny f1 has incredible competition speed and great moments indycar is requires more grit and grind I feel like and that equals more entertaining racing
Ok, this is why I love Indy Car alot more because when do you ever see this many overtakes in the last 4 laps of F1? Unless for some reason it's a wet race and people are on Drys. It's amazing to see this amount of action in this short distance. Really wish in years to come Indy Car becomes bigger. Ive been streaming sports for years, back in the days of Asiaplate. :D Plenty of free hd quality streams out there if you know where to look, and none of them dodgy sign up links. I detest sky, i can afford it, but its out of principle, they stole all the free to air sports and their prices are extortionate.

How anyone can say a thing negative about IndyCar is beyond me..i watched f1 in the a.m and IndyCar in the afternoon ...the IndyCar race far surpassed the f1 race
The sheer amount of defensive moves or aggressive overtakes made here that would cause a firestorm on the F1 side of the world in just 4 laps is crazy, best part about it is that there was no controversy here. It just shows that F1 lacks the gritty ruthlessness and aggression in its overtaking and never had that to begin with. F1 is the main motorsport I follow and I don’t think I will ever drop it, but Indycar is a far more straight-forward and easy going series with less bullshit from the drivers, teams, sporting officials and frankly, the fans.
As much as I love f1 I gotta say, the fia needs to do more to make racing this close and entertaining, the new regs helped with cars being able to follow more closely but they still need to do more. Unless there was a late safety car in f1 you wouldn't see this level of close racing toward the end of the race.
The fanbase is the most toxic as well. Lots of verstappen fanboys just constantly attacking other drivers especially after today’s race with Lewis and his back problems
I also love F1. But we all have to remember that F1 will never be a "spec" racing series and due to that fact, they will never have 10 of the 20 cars running that close at the end. IndyCar is closer racing because of the prebuilt and provided Dallara chassis every team must use. F1 is never going to buy a single chassis from a single manufacturer and require every team use it. The entire history of F1 is one team running away and hiding.

Eu estou muito feliz. Newgarden é o melhor piloto americano desde Sam Hornish. Aliás, ele é muito mais versátil que Sam Hornish que de fato era bom só em ovais. Newgarden ganhou o prêmio de 1 milhão porque de fato é o melhor piloto da Indy em todas as formas de traçados. Piloto completo que deixou bem claro o quanto é apaixonado por essa categoria.
The announcers were so wrong when they said the caution was a good break for Rossi. He was gradually cutting into Newgarden's lead under green. He was 7 seconds back with like 15 laps to go and 2.5 seconds back when the caution came out. Rossi had the third place car cleared by like 6 seconds and the caution brought a whole bunch of cars into play.
IndyCar's marketing is bottom tier garbage. It leaves 98% of it's advertising to fans and the tracks they race at. I'm hoping Roger Penske can change that now we're out of COVID.

Brilliant race, starting to look forward to Indycar races more than F1.. shocker! One thing that annoys me though is that they'll choose to show a solo leader cross the line rather than on-track battles that are continuing. Newgarden is miles clear, we know he's going to win, whilst Rosenqvist, Herta and others are still going at it up to the line!
F1 should examine this race on how to be entertaining, not a boring procession of fancy cars. Indy Car is about DRIVERS, F1 is about team technology. Last year a back marker named George Russel took over Hamilton's Merc and almost won the race, the best technology wins F1 races, not the best driver. This race was more entertaining than any F1 race I've watched in person or on tv. Keep up the great racing Indy!!!!!

Extra 55 horsepower at the touch of a button for up to 15 seconds at a time. Max is 150 seconds per race. Only on road and street races. The 500 allow it but only on quali.
That's not Indy quali. Superspeedway ovals run at a reduced boost compared to short ovals and road courses. For Indy quali, they give them full road course boost but no push to pass.
It is limited boost for intelligent racers….don’t use it all up early and save some for the end. Unlike DRS which puts a bunch of mindless road trains on the circuit

Just about every US driver has no chance getting to F1. Herta has the best chance as he's in the McLaren Young Driver's program and has a lot of potential.
if you don’t know, Andretti is working to get a team in F1 by the end of 2023. Kyle Larson and Colton Herta are the projected drivers to start from the team, unless Kyle resigns with Hendricks or Colton is picked up by someone else. lots of talent in the field, some want to stay here to race some will find their places elsewhere

TV direction was absolutely horrible again. Apart from this last restart the race felt very boring on TV. Needs a fix ASAP.
