Some eagle eyed viewers have asked about the phone automation. Nice catch! That's done with an app called MacroDroid. You create scripts that tell the phone what to do and under what conditions. In this case when the phone connects to the RDX bluetooth it begins starting other apps (Torque Pro, Car Launcher, Pulsar +), locks the screen in landscape and always on modes. It opens the notifications screen because screen mirroring has to be started manually on an unrooted phone (why you see me pressing that icon). When the screen mirroring connection is made the 'play' button is pressed by MacroDroid and the tunes begin...all automatically. MacroDroid can do so many things, it's definitely worth checking out.
